Capítulo 2175: Chapter 669: Preparing for Battle (Part 2)_4
Liu Zhenhuan indeed couldn’t learn this kind of ditation, but he was still delighted.
This ti, besides seeing if the phoenix resting among sycamores could create powerful magic Ents, he had another purpose for visiting Phoenix City. He even kept it secret from Filin, the Shangyang bird; he couldn’t entrust the family’s secrets to this daughter-in-law who hadn’t yet stood the test of ti.
After leaving Phoenix City, Liu Zhenhuan smiled and looked at the dozens of cloaked dwarves among his followers.
One by one, the cloaks were undone, revealing sixty-seven towering Frosty Pichus swaying their chubby heads. Under Guoguo’s call, they stood in a crooked line. These giant Pichus were covered in stripes of various colors, and anyone familiar with magic legends would imdiately exclaim that these aren’t just magical runes symbolizing elental affinity!
No doubt, this truly was an accidental miracle of creation.
Even the legendary advanced mages Saint Chiao, Puskas, and Van Basten never possessed such magic runes. Such elental affinity patents historically belonged solely to elves’ top mages, yet they appeared on a group of rubbish beasts, “Beasts of Misfortune.” It’s simply the Creator’s wisdom and generosity—this world should not have absolute weaklings.
The various magic runes on the giant Pichus symbolize different anings. Insiders know, silver symbolizes Wind Magic, white symbolizes Frost Magic, Z-shaped symbolizes Electric Qi Magic, and the cotton-like ones are the hallmark of orthodox Qi Magic. As for the Saint George Red Cross, it’s the rare symbol of Qi wave healing magic. The black cross rune is scarcely recorded and is also known as the “Scandinavian Cross,” marking extre poison types—having the “Scandinavian Black Cross” rune implies toxic spells aren’t just simple see-blood and they fall.
Amongst the sixty-seven Pichu mages, those retaining Frost Magic are the most nurous, a total of twenty-five, with only one of the poison type. Regardless of their magic form changes, one thing is common: their Elental Fluctuations are very strong, evidently reaching the universally acknowledged bottleneck threshold of advanced mages.
The “phenonon” appearing amongst these sixty-seven Frosty Pichus can’t be explained using current Aegean magic terminology—originally Frost-type magical beasts, forty-two Pichus surprisingly leapfrogged directly, skipping their body’s magic appreciation phase, forcibly evolving innate magic into Qi Magic’s various subspecies spells. This resembles the thod by which Basturk evolved into the Fla Emperor and then comprehended Smoke Magic! {PS: Frosty Pichu’s Frost Magic, also known as Freezing Qi Magic, belongs to derived Qi Magic branches.}
Guoguo pushed down the toad sunglasses on his nose, angrily puffing smoke from its small nostrils.
Like father, like son—he, just like old Liu, is a loser among Elentalists, having no magic runes on his belly, rely carrying a leopard-print belly pouch filled with snacks.
“Darlings, have you mastered the Phoenix’s “Nirvana Cultivation Technique” yet?” Liu Zhenhuan proudly handed out enormous cigars to each Pichu mage and fished out a shiny new Div Crystal Ball from his sleeve: “If not, no worries, I secretly recorded Elder Liu Feng’s demonstration and explanation. We can go ho and learn slowly!”
No wonder these Pichus bore magic runes; no sooner had old Liu spoken, than the ground was filled with sixty-seven pudgy giant eggs. All had magical shells, all were splendidly golden, all had cigars sticking upright.
