Chapter 2006: Chapter 639: Brilliant Uses of the Battle Song (Part 4)

“Could it be that the entire power of the Bimon Kingdom is concentrated in this Witherspoon?” Prince Similian and Prince Rhincor could hardly believe it was true. This level of dense defensive forces, for the Bimon Kingdom, which could only be considered second-rate on the Aegean Continent, could only be logically explained if they were pouring in the entire national strength.

But why would the Bimon Kingdom do such a thing?

Have they gone mad?

It’s not just Witherspoon alone that’s under attack from the Hai Mu allied forces!

The two rfolk royals were a bit dizzy, never in their dreams did they envision facing such an opponent; they truly didn’t know whether to call the Bimon’s heads foolish or clever.

“Similian, increase the siege troops attacking the southern gate tower to one hundred thousand octopus warriors! anwhile, inform the other three front lines to assist us in launching feigned attacks. Don’t give these Bimons any chance to rest and catch their breath!” Prince Rhincor naturally deployed the Sea Clan’s trademark tactic: “I refuse to believe it! Once those Bimon priests run out of singing power, once those magical beasts run out of mana, once their warriors are completely spent, how will they withstand the assaults of our elite troops!”

Indeed, the Sea Clan’s tactics, though cruel, proved effective. After depleting forty thousand octopus warriors, the temple knights’ priests finally ran out of elixirs for mana. Similarly, the archers and porcupine javelin throwers on the ramparts and arrow towers also gradually beca exhausted; the speed of shooting and throwing visibly slowed significantly, and the originally dense as rain defensive firepower began to decrease sharply. Even though the brick rain hurled by stone throwers caused considerable casualties to the enemy, the octopus warriors still managed to climb up the city walls, leveraging their numbers.

The beams and pitch could no longer stop the octopus warriors; close combat was inevitable!

Facing octopus warriors who could climb up the city walls without needing cloud ladders and hooks, the Witherspoon garrison initially experienced a brief panic; however, once engaged, the weakness of the opponents quickly restored the courage of the Piegel warriors.

Although the octopus warriors were nurous and skilled in climbing and bone shrinking techniques, combat was not their strong suit. The fat, big-eared Piegel warriors might not win against Mulan warriors, but they had no trouble dealing with the short octopus warriors. Though Bimon was poor, they at least had cal skin armor and steel weapons stripped from the Mulanese, making them much wealthier than the octopus warriors who only had shell chest guards and primitive weapons.

Liu Zhenshock acted quite reservedly; the elental attack units and shoote units of the Sumr Palace, as well as the air units, did not fire. To deal with these Wu Dalang and Trecker-like dwarfs, he even held back from deploying the foot soldiers’ flathrowers and the birdwing crossbow cars. While other Bimon warriors were still using long-range firepower to snipe the octopus warriors below the city walls, he had already led his n to match them step by step on the city wall, resulting in blood and flesh flying.

For the sa reason of showing weakness to the enemy, the walls garrisoned by the Sumr Palace Guard beca, just like during the Mulanese siege, a focal point for the octopus warriors’ attacks.

This lee battle might be the most trashy opponents faced since the establishnt of the Sumr Palace Guard!

It was simply like a battle between a group of mice and a group of giant dragons!

The Sumr Palace’s heavy infantry wore standard Crown Thorns Armor, made of black iron, with a total weight of four hundred kilograms. This heavy armor now ca with added magnetic levitation weight reduction technology, triple magic refining, and a Jing Gold coating, offering greater precision, lightness, and protection than ever before. To deal with such heavy armor, the only physical breaking thod was to use heavy weapons to smash hard, relying on massive impact force to injure the Sumr Palace guards wrapped in armor!

And the octopus warriors of the Sea Clan, similar in stature to Bimon gecko people, were mostly equipped with shark bone knives, whale bone spears, and giant crab pincers, weapons with a marine flair. Apart from the officers who had fish scale armor for show, the other octopus soldiers only had a shell hanging on their chest and back as armor.

It was unavoidable, though. The Sea Clan, although they had conquered an overseas continent and enslaved countless native miners to refine iron, still didn’t have enough tal arms for open and complete army supply.

In such a stark contrast, even if the Sumr Palace Guard’s heavy infantry stood still, the octopus warriors couldn’t cut through these steel canisters.

The Sea Clan’s fodder tactics might be able to deplete and wear down the physical strength of any Bimon Army, but they are utterly ineffective against the Golden Ring Warriors. The honor of “Bimon’s First Warrior” is held by the Buer Tribe’s Antelope n, not Taige or Laine kinds of strong battle races, not because the Golden Ring Warriors have the multi-skilled abilities of lee totem pillars and long-range boorangs, but because they possess the innate “Endurance Aura”!

In the Heigar battle, the record set by the Golden Ring Warriors was continuous combat for seven days and nights without eating or drinking!

A few hours of combat for the Antelope Warriors could only be considered a warm-up!

Prince Similian and Prince Rhincor quickly noticed the incredibly valiant Bimon heavy infantry on the south gate tower. These heavy warriors stood out even more than night beacons; just as the red-clad high priest described, they advanced like a forest, sweeping all before them!

Just monts ago, the octopus warriors climbing up the ramparts, a black mass of people bustling, were, in the next mont, shaved down by the frontal assault press of the Bimon warriors, sent flying off the ramparts like razors shaving beards, with kites of blood and flesh scattering everywhere.
