Don’t try to provoke with classic or non-classic argunts; I’m an old writer and don’t care about such vanity. That’s child’s play, and the arrogance of being classic has driven many authors insane, I find it horrifying.
Using classic status as bait instead of subscriptions, what’s the point of writing classics if it doesn’t earn money to support a family? Cao Xueqin wrote a classic but ended up castrated by starvation.
Don’t call superficial; I only consider material rather than spiritual levels. In my view, an uncensored book is classic by default. Don’t lant Beast Blood either.
