Chapter 1531: Chapter 459: The Queen’s Return
Red Earth City, Feilengcui.
It was the season when grass grows and warblers fly; the lodious pastoral songs drifted across the wilderness, rippling like waves.
At the office on the edge of a bamboo grove, the golden-haired Bellamy, Chancellor of the Sumr Palace, was circling around a tall, alluring auburn-haired human beauty, who was dressed in a flashy and revealing manner.
Standing behind Bellamy was a large group of strong-bodied, black-haired Mastiff People who were forcefully pulling the heavy iron chains in their hands, restraining Mastiffs that were over half a human’s height and extrely strong.
These Mastiffs were exuding an air of savagery, with triangular heads and eyes, and their sharp fangs incessantly dripped with glistening drool. Even though the iron chains held by their masters tightened their sturdy and powerful necks, they still did not forget to emit a low, dignified growl at the auburn-haired beauty.
Compared to the other golden-haired Mastiff People basking lazily in the sun in the corner, this group of black-haired Mastiff People handling the fierce dogs had a more lethal appearance, and their re gaze could evoke a suffocating sensation. Their dark and wrinkled muscles were robust and valiant, undoubtedly imbued with imnse supernatural power. The drooping eyelids and cold, sullen eyes conferred upon them a chilling, unique aura!
The corners of these black-haired Mastiff People’s mouths seed to be constantly drooling, which would be a comical appearance for anyone else, but on them, it showed none; instead, it highlighted their unique authority and ruthlessness!
They were recognized by the Beamon Kingdom as the most dangerous Orcs, the Neapolitan Dogn of the Doug Tribe! Also known as Neapolitan Mastiffs!
The last batch of mastiff-affiliated tribes accepted by Feilengcui was complete, and the territory now encompassed all the Doug Tribe Mastiff People from the Beamon Kingdom. As one of the most ferocious mbers of the Mastiff People———-the thirty-two Neapolitan Mastiffs had beco the new Chancellor of the Sumr Palace, maintaining the day-to-day order of the entire territory with their beast-kin Mastiffs.
And this auburn-haired beauty happens to be their first prey since assuming office.
The crisp footsteps of high-top riding boots clattered on the solid ground, while a sharp light shot out from Bellamy’s erald-green pupils.
The auburn-haired beauty defiantly matched Bellamy’s gaze; in front of the tall and burly Mastiff People, her frail form was no different from a tender young grass blade.
“I know who you are, dear Miss Rebecca.” Bellamy forcefully clapped his gloved hands, scratching his chin.
“As the bravest warrior among the Beamon, Mr. Mastiff, shouldn’t you offer a lady a glass of water first and then sit down to talk leisurely?” The human beauty nad Rebecca flicked her flowing auburn hair in a very composed manner.
“You really are the cheekiest thief I’ve ever seen.” Bellamy couldn’t help but laugh, nodding repeatedly.
As Feilengcui’s fa spread across the Aegean Continent, besides a few humans who ca seeking refuge, more were human thieves, adventurers, and foolhardy poor rcenaries attracted by its reputation.
The legendary Feilengcui boasted countless beauties! Innurable treasures! And moreover, a Mana Pearl, housed inside Lord Richard’s head, capable of granting the magic power of a Saint Level!
In the publicly acclaid glorious achievents of the Feilengcui Lord, there was never a small role involved.
Precisely because of this, small characters may not regard the Feilengcui Lord with the sa respect as formidable experts, nor pay even the slightest courtesy.
Ignorant people are often fearless.
But they do not know that no matter how skillfully they employ stealth techniques, Feilengcui has Butterflies endowed with the “Eye of Truth” and Mastiffs capable of sniffing out anomalies within five miles!
“Mr. Mastiff, you are quite ungentlemanly! Is this how you treat guests? Whether as a lady or a traveler coming to quench her thirst, you shouldn’t treat this way, right?” The auburn-haired beauty loudly defended herself, appearing indignant.
“You are the twenty-seventh, my dear Miss Rebecca!” Bellamy sneered coldly. “Because you are a woman, because you are a famous woman, I’m wasting a few words on you. If it were a man, I can tell you, Neapolitan Mastiffs are not picky eaters; they love to tear into any prey! This includes a delicate beauty like you!”
“How do you know my na?”
“The rcenary guild has a bounty portrait of you; it’s said you once targeted a very talented young artist, which is your regret.”
“Damn! This darn place even has bounty notices!” The beauty was annoyed.
“Let correct you; this is Feilengcui, not a crappy place! This is the erald born in the Primitive Ancient Origin, the cultural capital and the City of Violence of the Beamon.” Bellamy lit a cigar, taking a deep drag of smoke: “There’s already a rcenary guild and a bandit guild here, and I, unfortunately, am the chief speaker of the bandit guild. If Miss Rebecca is interested, you might as well establish a thief guild here as well.”
“Since you already know my identity, there’s nothing more I wish to say. I want to et your Lord! If I’m not granted an audience, I absolutely won’t leave here!” The auburn-haired beauty had coffee-colored eyes, proving she was a woman of staunch belief. If the Lord’s blunt words were used, her personality was undoubtedly stubborn and unyielding.
