Chapter 1524: Chapter 455: Combat Demonstration Drama
The Lich King Jia Bao of the Coast Contribution Continent sat motionlessly upon the crystal throne, gently waving her jade-like finger to halt the fiercely emotional reactions of the other kings beside her.
On the Martial Arts Platform, Liu Shock silently withdrew his sword, turned around, dropped to one knee, and perford the greeting ceremony toward the Lich King on the palace balcony.
Given the thick-skinned nature of the man, naturally, he wouldn’t experience any psychological resistance to bowing before this Lich King at the mont—after all, he intended to recover the debt many tis over in the future.
“My Silver-Eyed Warrior, rise at once!” A sweet and lodious voice rang crisply in Old Liu’s ear.
Liu Shock stood still as a statue, lifting his eyes slightly—at first, not looking at the Lich King was bearable, but seeing her truly made his eye twitch.
He initially assud the speaker was rely a female court official. Who could’ve guessed that one of the Demon World’s three great Lich Kings was actually a young woman!
And a sweet one at that!
Her Majesty Jia Bao possessed a face as exquisite as a flower in bloom, playfully charming eyes, and a lavish evening gown that accentuated her alluring curves to perfection. This figure and facade practically sow the seeds of desire across the land.
Liu Shock took one glance and couldn’t move his gaze away.
“For so reason, ever since you bowed to , my head’s felt oddly dizzy!” Her Majesty Jia Bao lightly pinched the eye-shaped tattoo between her brows with slender fingers, her smile blooming like spring flowers: “The ancient texts say this is a sign of weak fortune-bearing capacity. By that logic, you may indeed carry the fate of a true king!”
Though her voice wasn’t loud, it reverberated across the skies of Casablanca, drowning out all other noise.
To Liu Shock, the voice signified power. To everyone else, it resounded as holy decree, prompting the entire Casablanca City to imdiately bow down en masse.
Now wasn’t the ti to seem disrespectful, so Liu Shock timidly lowered his lustful gaze a little more.
Even though he hadn’t consud Larza Beast at, he’d seen them run before. Years of playing the charlatan had let him master this knightly posture for professing loyalty flawlessly.
“Keep striving forward.” Jia Bao said with encouragent as she smiled at Old Liu. Following this, a loud-voiced court official announced that the contest would continue.
The Demon Clan’s airborne knights were indeed fierce and tenacious. Witnessing two outstanding warriors perish before their eyes, they showed no hint of fear. Another imdiately charged forward to challenge Liu Shock.
When the fifth Gargoyle Knight had his neck snapped by Liu Shock, the Martial Arts Platform, surrounded by a dense crowd of spectators, was left with airborne knights staring at one another, now unwilling to step forward and break formation.
This Gargoyle Knight was called Nash, a na renowned both across the Coast Contribution Continent and the Demon World. Burly and muscular, he had perfected his family’s secret claw technique to mastery. It was said his sharp claws could tear through the tough armor of Earthrock Rhinoceroses. Rumors claid he once wagered with the sect leader, using his pair of wing hooks and taloned claws, sharp enough to pierce rocks, to duel barehanded against a Deep Sea Bald Eagle’s unyielding talons—and he ultimately shredded those supposedly indestructible claws of the eagle triumphantly.
Yet even such a warrior lasted only two or three moves against this mysterious Silver-Eyed Swordsman. First, his crystal-gloved claws, the source of his fa, were severed with a single sword stroke. Then, the Swordsman grabbed his thigh mid-air, slamd him downward, and finally twisted his head violently to the side—the skull capable of seeing in all directions and hearing from all angles was instantly snapped. Let’s not forget, Gargoyles had the instantaneous petrification ability!
Using full-body petrification to withstand devastating attacks was absolutely an enviable innate talent. Yet, this mysterious Silver-Eyed Swordsman treated Nash like a re fruit, clasping his arms together effortlessly—as if not even exerting much force—before twisting until the stone head was completely crushed!
Counting the Terror Knight and the Obsidian Destroyer, seven corpses now lay on the ground!
The airborne knights collectively sank into a silence filled with awkwardness. Though each wanted to prove their bravery, the vast disparity in strength stripped them of even the faintest hope for a fluke victory.
It was true the Demon Clan didn’t fear death, but that didn’t an every demon was willing to die pointlessly!
Liu Shock casually flung the stone skull off the high platform.
He was starting to feel frustrated.
This caliber of opponents stepping up to duel him was downright laughable!
To make matters worse, his battle sword bore a new jagged crack—ugly as the fissure left on a porcelain cup smashing against a water basin’s rim. Clearly, the Gargoyle’s claws had been hard enough that if it weren’t for his own strength, the sword might’ve broken instead.
“Three thousand crystal-armored n, yet not one is a woman.” Her Majesty Jia Bao lanted from the palace balcony.
Her words cut into the hearts of every Demon Clan airborne knight, as if injected with adrenaline, stirring their blood to boiling!
Savage combat resud once more, and Liu Shock silently muttered to himself, “Good grief, this young woman’s motivational skills are far superior to those of Old Qin back in the day!”
Within a few rounds, the crack on his Wind Iron War Sword widened further until it could no longer endure—the sword splintered into multiple shards, fragnted and broken.
Indeed, the Demon Clan’s crystal armor and bones were tough as steel!
Liu Shock pulled out the copper rod strapped to his back, shook it open, and unleashed a torrent of furious sweeping strikes!
Most Demon Clan airborne knights relied on martial expertise rather than arcane magic. Thus, they naturally opted for close-range combat when dueling. Against a lee master like Saint Chiao, this succession of challengers was no different than lining up as grasshoppers to be crushed under a rolling wheel.
