I evaded the incoming ice balls that were mainly aid for my upper body by arching backward, and then I heard a shriek behind . (9: basically Sukuna did a matrix move, forgot what it was called)
I was surrounded. I saw how, if you were to take a look at it, it might have seed as if I were in a pinch.
However, if you put that many monsters in a space that wasn’t that big, then there was no way that monsters wouldn’t friendly fire each other.
The ice balls ca flying towards , and as I evaded them, so of the shots hit the monster right behind .
However, I didn’t have the ti to feel glad.
Only being conscious of what was happening behind because of the sounds I heard, I went to beat down the five butterfly magi in front of that were going to use magic again.
I still must not use any arts. Since I didn’t want to stop moving after using an art while being surrounded by these numbers.
And also, unard combat’s arts were basically just for 1 on 1 encounters or against huge monsters. It only had a few arts that were effective when fighting against multiple enemies.
That ant that what I was going to do was simple–punch, kick and throw, only those three actions.
I blew away the butterfly in front of with a flying kick. The mont I landed, I grabbed the wings of the butterfly magi on my right, and I used it as the shield from the incoming sphere of fire-.....fire ball.
It was probably the sa spell that Apocalypse used, but at least when comparing it to being used like a Gatling gun, this was a rather ta attack.
The one who fired the fireball was the magical matango. This one was not only big like the butterfly magi, it had two legs and four arms. (9: matango is kinda like a fungus, googling its kana, they have a thriller movie with the monster being a fungus monster)
If I were to describe it, I would say it looked like a walking shiitake mushroom. And as it was around one ter tall, it was a monster that was hard to look at.
However, even though it had limbs, it did not grow and hands and feet, so its movent was slow.
I decided to consider it as so sort of fixed cannon that was placed on the ground.
Feeling the shock from the fireball hitting the butterfly magi I held, I threw the butterfly magi towards an incoming lump of earth and then once again went towards the third butterfly, which was creating another ice ball. Throwing my weight onto the butterfly, I smashed it into the ground with my right hand.
The butterfly magi had a high magic attack in exchange for its physical defense being rather fragile. In an all-out brawl like this, it would definitely be the first monster I would want to deal with.
If you saw through its irregular movents then it was nothing but a monster that was fragile against physical attacks.
「Though-.. it’s not only these guys-...that are like-....this, you know!」
I trampled on the butterfly magi that I smacked down, reducing all its HP, and using that to propel myself forwards, I accelerated beyond the five butterfly magi, ambushing the goblin mage that appeared behind them.
I hit the crotch of the goblin that was surprised at my instantaneous approach, and knocking its head with my knee as it hunched over, I used the staggering goblin as a shield from the magic I heard coming from behind .
While being thankful that the goblin provided better cover than the butterfly magi, I finished off the goblin who was on the verge of dying with friendly fire.
And then, the instant I left the cover of its back, I took the two throwing knives on each hand that I had prepared and threw each of them at the eyes of the goblin mages that had spawned far behind .
「Gi!」
「Gyaaaaa!」
「Giiii!」
Of the four knives that I had thrown, two of them gouged into the eyes of one goblin mage each, one of them missed its mark and struck the neck of another goblin mage, and the last one hit a magical matango that didn’t cry out.
The monsters that were hit by the knife released the magic that they were readying up randomly.
Evading the spells that were originally coming towards , while being thankful that the monsters were making chaos by themselves, I swung my fist towards the fifth butterfly magi.
The five butterfly magi that attacked in the beginning and one goblin.
While I had defeated them in just under a minute, I felt like the monsters’ numbers hadn’t reduced at all.
If I were to na the troubling parts of this situation, I would say that one example would be that because all of them are ranged types, my situation would gradually get worse and worse as long as I didn’t close the difference.
And moreover, I was softer than tofu regarding magic, so I didn’t even have the leisure to say that I would gradually have a bad ending. If I got hit once, I would be on the verge of dying, if I got hit a second ti, I would probably die.
「Phew.....okay, let’s do this.」
Even so, as I inhaled a lot of air, I once again put power into my foot.
I would kill them all while remaining unhard. That was all I could do to survive.
There was no way that there had been just five shots. The magic attacks of fire water, wind, and earth jumbled together, and I evaded them by doing a huge jump.
This was a forest. The trees would beco my shield, my weapon, and my scaffold. Anyhow, all I could say was that this was such a convenient terrain for .
Jumping high, I grabbed one of the branches of the trees, and doing a pull up, I ascended onto the branch.
Naturally, with just this, I wouldn’t be able to get out of being targeted by the monsters, but it seed that it did work as so sort of smokescreen as their magic hit the skies.
They started chanting and invoking different kinds of magic, and in another several seconds, they would once again unleash their magic at .
However, that was enough ti to complete my preparations.
Carrying it over my shoulder, its heaviness made the branch creak. I bent my knees and kicked off from the branch with enough force to destroy it, and then I smashed down one of the magical matangos that were chanting magic on the ground.
「Though- I barely made it....!」
From the flat, crushed corpse of the dead magical matango, I slowly pulled out the weapon and put it on my shoulders.
The Haruru-made two-handed mace, 《teor Impact -Zero Type-》. A really heavy weapon requiring over 150 strength.
With my increase in level from the Apocalypse battle and then from the level that I had gotten earlier, spending all my remaining stat points, I was finally able to 「carry it」. I was equipping such ridiculously heavy equipnt.
Required strengths are basically added together. If I considered actually being able to move around, then I needed to take into account both the required strength of the teor Impact -Zero Type- and the required strength of my armor.
Although the Red Wolf’s Attire -Solo- had an extraordinarily low required strength of 5, my strength right now was only 152. The exact required strength of the teor Impact -Zero Type- was 151, so to move around while carrying it I needed four more strength.
Then why was I carrying a weapon that I couldn’t move around with?
Well, if you’re only carrying a weapon then as long as you reached the required strength it was possible to do so.
Basically, I was not planning to carry this weapon to beat the enemy with it.
「Doryaaaaaaaa!」
I was using it by throwing it around.
It seed that they weren’t able to react to it being thrown. The teor Impact -Zero Type- rotated in the air as it landed on the head of the nearest goblin mage, blowing it away.
As the headless corpse of the goblin disappeared after a few seconds, I understood that its kin was a bit shocked by what happened to it.
Using the ti when the monsters had faltered temporarily, I once again picked up the teor Impact and threw the black tal hamr towards the place where the monsters had gathered.
This ti’s throw blew away a butterfly magi and the magical matango behind it.
Haruru also said it, but the heaviness of the weapon was important as it was also a factor that was calculated into the damage. Especially if it was a blunt weapon, that damage would be greater.
If it was a sword, then the bonus would be based on its sharpness or sothing, so there were other things that were calculated into the total damage.
The monsters in the Forest of Magic were specialized in magic. To who specialized in physical-type stats and was weak to magic, the monsters in the forest of magic weren’t strong against physical attacks.
That ant that these monsters and are both each other’s worst enemy.
Though it was not like their physical defense was as low as my magic resistance. Just, compared to their kin, they were soft.
It seed this would be likely, but magic users like Rin-chan, in a way, shouldn’t they be having trouble in this forest? Since all of them would naturally have magic resistance, after all.
Now then, understanding that the teor Impact -Zero Type- was really effective against them, naturally they wouldn’t just stand still as they got slaughtered.
Picking up, throwing and then recovering the hamr, since this single loop of actions took around ten seconds, I had to evade all the incoming magic as I did it.
While I jumped from tree to tree or went through the gaps between the crowd of monsters, not panicking, I reduced their numbers.
Throwing, crushing, punching, kicking, recovering, and once again throwing. All I could do was repeat all of those steps, but it was gradually becoming difficult.
To throw the teor Impact -Zero Type-, I couldn’t equip any weapon at the sa ti.
On the other hand, unard combat had a bonus on attack power when you didn’t equip any weapon, but right now I was equipping the teor Impact -Zero Type-, so I won’t be able to receive that bonus.
That ant that my normal damage had decreased. While strategizing as I took out and used throwing weapons to cancel out magic, the enemy just wouldn’t stop.
While I was fighting, more monsters ca up, increasing their numbers, and as I defeated twenty of them, another ten would appear. It was that kind of a situation.
It was normally faster when I just hit them, but once it ca to this, it just got gradually worse.
I was carefully managing my SP, but with one hit being fatal, if I got careless in evading what will be waiting for was only death.
Even with the effects of《Moon Callia’s Solo (tsubaki kanade)》which basically doubled my SP, because I didn’t even have ti to rest, my SP had already been reduced to half.
I was clearly feeling the pressure of death, but while I was in what you might call a monster swarm, I was having fun.
The remaining monsters numbered thirty. Considering the gathering monsters too, I could probably survive if I defeated fifty more monsters.
「This is just too impossible!!」
That was impossible, I thought, but.
I should just do as much as possible.
I was starting to get used to throwing the teor Impact -Zero Type- and I could mow down about three monsters in a single throw. Besides, I felt like it wasn’t like I didn’t have a chance.

A super heavy two-handed mace made from heavy tal.
While having a simple look, it only has one special gimmick installed in it, however with her current strength, Sukuna can’t use it.
And once again, you could say this to all two-handed mace category weapons, but in the case that you don’t have enough dexterity, you would be just swayed around by the weight, unable to swing as you want.
On the other hand, it has 3 tis the attack power of a one-handed mace, they basically connect from the difference of damage magnification and a huge firepower.
Having the special characteristics of a heavy tal, it boasts of having a huge strength requirent and trendous durability.
