After failing a second ti Ezekiel was feeling beaten down like before but he knew that with a proper plan he could get through this.
He had noticed that unlike most gas he could not simply brute force his way through this one, unless he had power that made defenses irrelevant he would actually need to think about his path.
That path was currently stagnant as he had finally upgraded everything that had been waiting for him... except for one thing.
He still had the racial improvent scroll!
With that scroll he would be able to make his race enter the next stage of evolution where he would be able to actually use more power in his strategies.
This path would help him greatly so he activated the scroll as soon as he had so privacy.

'So many options...'
He knew that if he were to take each path into account he would find a pattern the way he found every other advancent option had a pattern.
The first offer was typically the one that required the lowest amount of power.
The final offer was usually the one that required the highest amount.
Because he had put so much effort into making his affinities max out he had earnes the tri-elental race.
He was sad that there were no options related to the void like other things had given but nothing this ti.
He did not really consider the rest and simply chose the Lesser Tri-Rlental Archdevil.
He figured that if he chose the one that took the most effort each ti then he was choosing the one with the most potential for power.

Evolution in BLO was almost always instant but this ti it took a few seconds for his vision to return.
When it did he felt... odd.
He knew that he would have wings so he decided to check what they were like, the result was unexpected.
Wings that barely reached beyond his fingertips when fully extended and seed to be made in a strange combination of draconic and batlike.
The wings had small claws at each point like the fantasy dragon wings usually showed but they also seed almost prehensile like bat wings.
He tried to make them move like a hand would and he felt the joints strain so he figured they had only a small amount of flexibility for such things.
The next thing he looked at was the mana veins skill that had been improved.
Inside of his body he saw that the mana veins connected to his core now extended... well everywhere.
He could even sense that his eyes had mana veins now.
He tried to use different areas of his body to expell mana and shockingly it felt natural.
The next step was to test the skills he had obtained and first he would test the flight skill.

He was afraid to try to fly from a dead stop but he knew that he could probably fly well if he climbed to the top of a tree, and so he did.
At the top of one of the highest trees he could find he expanded his wings, but he was afraid to jump.
'What if the skill doesn't work right and I fall to my death?...'
He was struggling to break his way out of that fear and eventually he took a deep breath.
'The system hasn't let down yet, ti to trust it.'
And so he jumped.
He activated the skill and saw his mana beginning to drain, about 100 mana every minute used to sustain the flight.
What beautiful flight it was!
It was always human nature to dream about flying in the air like a bird, why else would people create wingsuits and gliders?
At one ti people even paid to be flown into the sky on planes just to jump out and fall to the ground, it had been outlawed but people still rembered skydiving.
With his mana recovery he could sustain his flight indefinitely but it was a slow flight, he also wondered how poorly it would go if he began to cast spells from his flying position.
Because he had such a height advantage he decided to try it out.
He began to drop shadowfire novas onto the ground below like bombs from a passing jet.
He was having so much fun when he suddenly felt a surge of power and heard a notification.

'What just happened?'
He through his previous actions again and suddenly rembered that he had seen this once before.
This was what happened when he had beaten the boss Diana for the first ti!
His shadow elental effect seed to be able to give him additional stat growth as long as he 'consud' enemies.
Well if he was going to be given such power he might as well take advantage of it!
He began to rain spells on different targets throughout the area and although he couldn't get much experience from them he still managed to gain more and more stat points.
He even decided that since he could do this he would never have to use his free points on the physical stats ever again!
By passing over the grounds a few tis he managed to take out a large number of enemies but he didn't gain stats from every kill.
He began to figure out that his consud effect was rare, so rare that even with hundreds of kills he only managed to get a few of them to be consud.
That was when he saw the giant wolf.
A massive wolf monster was chasing down a number of players and taking them out one by one.
This creature was sothing strange in this area as the average level of the monsters were 50-70 but this one was lv250.
A monstrous white wolf burning people with claws covered in burning light and blinding them by flashing sothing from within its fur that created an aura of white light.
This would be a fight he could actually try himself out with.

Flying out over the wolf he started to cast nova needles in groups of three to find any weak points through the fur.
As soon as he struck the wolf it seed to be enraged as it looked up.
It howled loudly and tried to leap into the air to attack him which made him panic as he flew higher.
He began to rain spells down on the wolf repeatedly until he noticed his mana was dangerously low due to doing this while flying.
His mana also wouldn't recover quickly enough to bypass the monster's regen so he would have to go to the ground.
He flew away to let the remaining players handle the wolf again but it did sothing unexpected.
It chased after him.
Not only did it chase him down but its mouth was glowing brightly.
'Oh fuck!'
His wing was struck by a beam of light from the wolf's mouth and he hit the ground hard.
Luckily he had gotten ready for it and rolled into the fall so he could reduce the impact and make it easier to continue running.
When he got up he had to sprint as fast as he possibly could.
The wolf was chasing him and only him which would leave the others an easy way to attack it but he was faster than many of them due to his half focus on agility.
He had to turn back to the group to seek their help and try to get its focus off of him as it was beyond faster than he was.
At this point he decided to activate another skill he hadn't had the chance to try, mana burn.
He felt the mana in his body boiling with power and rising in his veins.
Across his body certain extremities began to release mana in the form of black fire, each of his horns, claws, the points of his wings and the tip of his tail burned with shadowfire.
It was incredibly painful for him so he turned to the wolf when he reached the group.
He felt like his mana was about to explode in his body, the boiling pressure so extre that he couldn't bear it anymore.
So he released it.
