Ezekiel turned around trying to not look afraid.
"Hello again, uh yeah of course I ca back! I said I would didn't I?" 'Dammit i shouldn't have co back here i'm such an idiot.'
"Now tell , did you select your reward yet boy?"
Ezekiel nodded and pulled a scroll out of his inventory and showed the gloves on his hands.
She examined them and whistled.
"Don't recognize the gloves obviously but that's a race scroll, you got pretty lucky there kid."
"I guess but I dont know what to pick for the other chest."
She stopped now and looked him in the eye.
"Other chest?"
"Yeah I went do another run and got the first solo run in the ga on hardmode so I got another unique reward."
She imdiately put both hands on his shoulders and leaned close.
"What are the reward options! Tell now! I can't let you choose sothing from lack of knowledge."
He went stiff as she grabbed him and told her.
'Well i narrowed it down to two options, a random affinity or a lineage unlock."
"What was your previous lineage giving you?'
"It's what gave my shadow affinity."
When he said this she went stiff as a statue.
"What did you just say?"
He was confused so he repeated himself.
"I was given a lineage called child of the abyss and it gave my shadow affinity, im pretty sure affinities are common for lineage bonuses aren't they?"
She didn't respond and simply stared at him.
"I an it only gave the affinity and its a strong one yeah but I figured it was just a middle quality or sothing since it only gave the affinity."
It was at that point that a smack was heard.
The demoness had slapped him across the face.
"If you ever call that lineage anything but incredible I will personally feed you your own tongue. You will select the lineage unlock scroll."
He was holding his cheek and staring at her in disbelief but he nodded.
'I have to get away from this psycho.'
He selected the option she ordered and then when she saw the scroll in his hand she ordered him to activate it.

"Sothing called Lesser Voidbeast, what the hell's a Voidbeast anyway? My unique gear is apparently made from them too."
She heard him talking and frowned.
"Yeah that's above my standing probably, our queen may not even know what they are but if it's made into unique gear and made to be on par with the other lineage you have then voidbeasts are probably not sothing that should be dealt with."
This discussion was interesting for him but he wanted to find and excuse to leave so he instead took out the voidbeast fang.
What he saw was... strange.
It looked like sothing carved out of a piece of obsidian and it had a handle, it almost looked like a stiletto dagger and a wand at the sa ti.

With this he had a weapon and he had a strange pair of gloves that could protect his hands from consumption.
As for why this gear was chosen for him specifically? He wasn't quite sure.
For now he had to find an excuse to get away from this woman and he felt that the besg way was to go to the city.
He knew how to use her for information as well.
"Hey uh... I saw that other races are able to get multiple classes and improve classes but I never got thay option, how do we do that?"
When she heard this question she laughed.
"Oh you otherworlders are so frail in this world, go to the mage tower and they will help you with your mage class advancent but for getting other classes thats exclusively for the races that do not evolve."
He nodded and got up.
"In that case I'll be on my way to get my advancent done..."
Then he ran as fast as he could.
