While the declarations of war were occurring there was a similar eting happening in the high elf kingdom known as Altagar.

The pope of the church of light was in a room discussing with the king of the high elves as well as the the kings of the human nations that all allied with the church.

"These otherworlders are destroying our kingdoms, everywhere I look they have caused damage to the economy of my city and potential damage in other areas are high but unproven."

The elven king sat beside his wife while listening to this information but he eventually sighed.

"We must find a way to organize the parasites to help us win this war while reducing harn to our nations."

The high elf looked at the pope rather than the other humans despite he and his wife being the only non humans present.

The pope finally spoke up when others also looked at him.

"The church of light will be able to entice these otherworlders through our vast resources, they have no concept of morality or honor so they can only be bought through greed. Even their inhuman bodies will not change this fact."

As the conversation drew further the pope eventually recieved a note from a bowed servant, upon reading it his expression fell like he had slled sour milk.

"Is sothing wrong your holiness?"

He turned to the human that asked the question and his expression shifted to one of kindness.

"Of course not my child, please continue the conversations without and just rember that the church will fully support the war these infidels have declared on you."

He left the room and quickly used his magical affinity to traverse the halls.

A beam of light appeared in the main chambers of the church that reford into the pope, after he fully reford he addressed the waiting servant.

"Tell what you have seen."

With the other national leaders he had to keep the image of a calm and kind individual but in his own church he could be as aggressive as he liked in regard to the scourge.

"The shadow user has been confird to be nearing the next racial evolution at lv450."

"No one has been sent anyone to kill it yet?"

The servant shook his head and raised a book containing the necessary information on the new shadow user.

"Since the devil is an otherworlder-"

"Devil?!?!"

"Ye..yes?"

"A devil with the shadow affinity?! Why was I not told about this imdiately when this information was discovered?!"

"I assu the investigation team did not believe it was important?"

"Oh these damned fools!"

The priest vanished in a beam of light that shot through the window of the well lit church.

In the council chamber of the high elf kingdom the other leaders stood when the pope began to reform from the light, instead of the kind face they were used to they saw one of rage.

"We must focus our efforts on invading the infernal kingdom!"

This brought a chill down the spines of the humans while the elven king simply scoffed.

"Your holiness you know why we can't go after the devil queen, how many heroes have been lost in the efforts to kill her?"

"We aren't going after the queen this ti, we are going to kill an otherworlder!"

The others grew confused now but they waited for the explanation during his ravings.

"I knew we should have focused on slaying that infidel, she grew to powerful but if we got a light based warrior and developed their defenses we could have accomplished it!"

He was radiating light in his agitation but the others did not feel any fear, they trusted the pope.

"The queen has found her mate! The otherworlder that developed a shadow affinity was a male infernal!"

This finally brought the others to a look of worry.

"If the queen has her mate then she will be more active in the world, she will also be volatile due to her protection of him..."

"And if the queen is volatile then this war may be far more dangerous."

"Oh but you forget about the potential boons we can get from this incident, devil cores are the best catalysts for magical objects and killing devils in this way will offer a great number of materials."

They all looked at the pope who carried a book everywhere, the front of the book held a golden gem that radiated light constantly.

"If we can make more weapons with devil cores we can do incredible things."

The others nodded and the pope caressed the front of his to.

In another world three figures were discussing the events over tea.

One of them was the goddess Luminous while another was a man with ebony black skin, burning red eyes and horns.

The last was a woman that greatly resembled a devil with flaming hair, elegant wings and horns that resembled a crown.

"I am happy you finally found a way to end that church Lumi, they have killed so many of your wonderful creations."

She shook with rage but took a sip of tea to try to calm herself.

"Thank you Fiora. I hope that after this war is done we will never have to witness your children being slain, that pope has taken his revenge farther than it would ever be allowed if he did not have power."

The two then looked to the dark figure and Fiora rested her head on his shoulder.

"Necros darling, are you ever going to correct the queen about her assumptions with that earthling? If you don't explain what he really is then she might be hurt when he has to leave."

The dark figure shook his head and spoke in a surprisingly smooth voice.

"My love, the queen has made her choice and not even I can change her mind. Eventually she will learn that he will leave but if he returns is up to him."

Luminous tapped the table in thought before snapping her fingers to create a screen that showed the young voidbeast tearing a dungeon apart.

"We must try to consult with the endless... if we do not understand what these entities are then when the world awakens it will instantly draw the attention of the astral beasts."

Fiora simply shook her head.

"By the ti the voidbeast's world awakens everything will be safer for the planet, there will be many great warriors and mages. Your own paladin will be in that world after all and he even gained your light affinity from the beginning."

At this Luminous began to giggle.

"Oh him, yes he has been doing well and i think he has nearly figured out how to use the power of light to grow."

"He will eventually learn it, the more he kills the more he will grow after all."

The pair of won laughed while Necros added more sugar to his tea.

"Necros dear you know that sugar is rare so try not to use all of it, the little ones don't leave it as an offering very often after all."

The dark god sighed in defeat and sipped at his incredibly sweet tea, he still seed displeased by it but drank it down with the occasional grumble.

"I wish we could tell the mortals what we actually desire! Why can't we get our temples built upon earth yet? You know they have the most industry of any world?"

"Yes yes you bring it up everyti you talk about sweet my love. The humans of earth have steered away from magic and chose industry which allowed for a significant growth of luxury goods, if you truly wish to get more gifts from them then feel free to create a temple and try to get offerings without being vandalized."

Fiora rolled her eyes but she held his hand the whole ti.

"Maybe I will..."

They all laughed while watching the various figures they had taken an interest in.

Fiora was watching a demonic woman in the armor of a pheonix with a high grade sword tear through a dungeon with powerful flas radiating from her body.

Luminous was watching a paladin direct individuals from a war room like a grand general.

Necros watched an archer stalking a wolf, she wore low level gear but her skills with the bow were obviously high.

Occasionally the dark god would look at another screen which showed the voidbeast had finally destroyed the entire dungeon and floated above the lake of poison.

~

Ezekiel had grown a great deal during his ti in this dungeon, he was almost ready to evolve as well.

His stats alone had grown to an extre degree due to the mass consumption of the dungeon.
