Under the pressure of the potential tapped by Ascetic Body Refinent and the nourishnt from herbs bought with the money given by Anand, Ronan managed to heal his grievous injuries, which would normally leave an average person on the brink of death or bedridden for a year or two, in just two months.
His spiritual power grew rapidly, and to prepare for his future advancent to a Level 1 Wizard, Ronan deliberately sought a "job" to gradually accumulate the resources needed for his promotion.
"I never knew, you also have such a talent in Magic Potion..."
In a small shop with a "Ding Nan Potion Workshop" sign, Ronan stood in front of rows of shelves filled with magic potions, carefully wiping a crystal potion bottle while speaking softly to Anand beside him.
Anand looked thinner than a few months ago, the wide linen robe draped over him seed like a gust of wind could blow him away at any mont.
However, he seed to be in good spirits, his eyes shining, as if they were lit with fire.
"It’s not really a talent, just a matter of interest."
Ronan carefully placed the crystal potion bottle back on the shelf, winked at Anand, and said half-jokingly, "Just like astrology, I have never given up, and now every night before sleeping, I still look up at the stars..."
Anand smiled, a complex expression of indescribable emotion on his face.
The two of them beca Astrology Apprentices in the sa batch, always supporting and encouraging each other.
Anand always thought they could continue along like this.
"As long as you’re happy..."
Anand’s lips moved slightly, suddenly, as if making a decision, he quickly pulled sothing out of his sleeve pocket and swiftly stuffed it into Ronan’s arms.
"If you need anything, let know, I’ll do my best to get it for you...
Almost every Astrologer is now aggressively recruiting apprentices, and the thresholds and benefits are much better than before, if you..."
As Anand spoke, he suddenly stopped, waved to Ronan, and quickly walked out of the shop.
Ronan stared blankly at the notebook written by Anand himself in his arms, looked up in the direction Anand had left, smiled slightly, and continued to focus on his trivial tasks at hand.
At night, Ronan reclined on his small bed, quietly reading Anand’s notebook by the starlight falling through a small window.
Anand had written down his discoveries and insights in astrology over the past few months, so star track data he had calculated, and a proper Wizard ditation thod.
"The ditation thod of an Astrologer actually gives a hint of the Ancient Star ditation’s feel... Though it’s much inferior to the Ancient Star ditation, and even far below the Tide ditation thod, it’s still far more profound than the Basic ditation Technique I initially practiced..."
"If placed in reality, it could be considered an Ancient ditation thod..."
Bringing heritage from a "dream" back to reality is indeed a good idea. Everything in the dream is illusory, but the knowledge truly exists, irrespective of dream or reality.
The ditation thod Anand wrote in his notebook requires a certain foundation in astrology. Ronan casually computed the various star track data from Anand’s notebook in his mind, and then set the notebook aside.
He did not intend to practice it, as the Master Level Basic ditation Technique was far more effective, but Anand’s action provided a good pretext for his spiritual power’s growth.
Ronan lay with his hands as pillows on the rickety small wooden bed, gazing at the starry sky through the small stone window.
In the vast Keldim Wizard Empire, countless people were striving and toiling for a possibly existent "Central Hub," but nobody knew, the person who knew its precise location was right before their eyes.
"If I were to reveal the location of the Quivada Oasis now, what kind of response would it trigger in this ’world,’ and would it affect the so-called historical process?"
"Probably... it would be forcibly corrected, and this round of ’reincarnation’ would also fail..."
Ronan had no intention of doing so.
He just wanted to be an observer.
.......
Despite the burden of many trivial matters, Ronan still managed to morize the Ancient Spirit Text at a pace of about once every five days.
In the third year after leaving the Astrology Apprentice status, Ronan’s spiritual cultivation reached Level 9 Apprentice, and he began trying to switch to the Ancient Star ditation.
The resources of the Keldim Empire period were much more abundant than those of the current Wizard World, yet with his aptitude, breaking through to a Level 1 Wizard was still difficult.
Lacking the resolute mindset needed to move forward and break through at all costs in the dream, Ronan felt he probably could not overco that hurdle.
Moreover, with the inco of a Magic Pharmacy Apprentice, it wasn’t feasible to accumulate the necessary resources within three to five years.
Anand visited Ronan to reminisce every so often, sotis every one or two months, sotis half a year, and occasionally many tis in one month.
Ronan was his only friend, the only one he could confide in.
In the massive astrology system initiated by the "Central Hub" plan in the Keldim Empire, he was just an insignificant cog, but he had a passion for astrology beyond the ordinary.
He shared everything with Ronan, his joy, his troubles, his sadness, and his worries.
Their strong bond of deep friendship remained unwavering, sotis Ronan would also discuss and research the issues of Star Art with him.
In the tenth year, Anand was formally accepted by their forr Astrologer ntor as a disciple.
