"?"

A storm rune quietly flashed in Ronan’s eyes, and he replied softly, "I feel... great right now."

The Storm Spirit, the Storm Weaver, about to advance to Level 7, summoned a thunderstorm that tore Ronan’s body apart, yet also gave him another rebirth.

When he pulled up the character panel, most of the data hadn’t changed much.

Except that his soul age had moved forward a step, from 21 to 22, and the rest was [Ascetic Body Refinent].

The Master Level proficiency of [Ascetic Body Refinent] had increased from just over 1500 points to (1599/1600) now.

Only a tiny bit of proficiency remained before reaching the next level.

The battling hard training in the Storm Realm for nearly a year, and the courage to actively throw oneself into the Storm Weaver’s spells were not without reward, the substantial increase in the Master Level proficiency of [Ascetic Body Refinent] brought a leap in his physical strength.

Now he almost had immunity to Electric Attribute and Wind Elent spells below Level 4, and the Blue Snail nurtured within the Life Light Ball in his body had also beco more complex and larger, a result of the [Double Helical Palace] being completed.

If these enhancents were within Ronan’s expectations, then so changes were beyond what he had anticipated.

Ronan imrsed his mind into his body, his spiritual power slowly wandered within.

Where it passed, he could clearly see so beautiful, intricate thunder and wind patterns growing within his blood, flesh, and bones.

The storm baptism of the Storm Weaver left a large amount of thunder and hurricane power in his body, and after leaving the Storm Realm, he had been striving to digest and eliminate this power.

During this period, so mysterious changes occurred that he couldn’t explain; his body seed to autonomously inscribe so core secret techniques of the weaver’s storm power into his flesh and bones.

These storm runes seed like naturally ford runes, but perhaps because Ronan didn’t deeply baptize by the storm power, these storm runes were not complete.

But even so, it already granted Ronan a certain degree of "talent ability" to freely control the elental magic of wind and electricity.

This ability even affected, to so extent, the effect of his "Ancient Mara’s Body," adding many unexpected changes to his control over the black aura when activating "Ancient Mara’s Body" transformation.

Overall, it was a good thing.

"I want to study your body carefully. Do you mind?"

Alazan spoke in a low voice, with a tone of seriousness and negotiation.

Alazan’s soul needed to depend on Ronan to exist, and because of the binding "master-slave contract," his understanding of Ronan was actually quite limited.

Ronan had almost completely closed himself off, leaving only a certain range for Alazan to freely move within his consciousness space, and a small opening he could enter and exit at will.

For Alazan’s request, Ronan hesitated for a mont, then nodded in agreent.

He was also curious about the changes happening to his [Pure Body], perhaps he might get so answers from Alazan.

Releasing the soul’s constraints on Alazan, the golden beetle began crawling from Ronan’s brow, slowly covering his entire body from the inside out, occasionally pausing in certain places. Ronan did not show Alazan the heart running the bloodline inference array.

Soon, Alazan’s soul power regrouped back into Ronan’s consciousness space.

After a period of silence, Alazan finally spoke.

"Your body now is like a born ’Weakening Blood.’

"Weakening Blood?"

Ronan was slightly stunned, the first ti he heard the term.

"Weakening Blood among Level 7 Wizards is far from you; it’s normal that you don’t understand.

To explain this state clearly, one must start with the ancient wizard’s classification of Level 9.

You are about to advance to Dawn, and so things, it’s ti you understand..."

"Alazan,

If you are willing to occasionally hold a wizard lecture hall and share with the inexhaustible wisdom you have within...

I believe the relationship between us would be much better than it is now."

Ronan made a gesture of being ready to listen carefully.

Alazan naturally ignored the teasing in his words and calmly said, "The division of the Mist, Dawn, and Twilight stages has been passed down for a long ti.

You should have already experienced the true intent of the Mist. As for Dawn, how do you understand it?"

Ronan thought and then replied, "Nurturing the Elental Spirit, spiritual power embracing the Elental Light."

Ronan spoke of the two most evident characteristics that distinguish Dawn Wizards from Mist Wizards—the further transformation of the soul, nurturing an Elental Energy Spiritual Aggregate within to aid in battle, and the enhancent of spiritual power carrying the attack traits of elental energy.

That was about all he knew.

"Not comprehensive, and very superficial."

Alazan gave his evaluation.

"The essence of Dawn is to penetrate the Mist and embrace the Light of Dawn.

The Light of Dawn, besides being the Elental Light, also represents the Light of Truth, the Light of Wisdom."

"Nurturing the Elental Spirit isn’t to enhance one’s elental energy control ability or casting ability, those are all incidental.

The true purpose is to forge a key, a key that can open the Door of Truth."

Ronan’s eyes flickered; this was the first ti he had heard such a statent. Alazan was the eldest Witch Leader in the Hall of Spirits; besides, he was also a wise and learned ancient wizard.

In today’s Wizard World, it’s practically a "living antique," a perfect channel for him to glimpse the splendor of ancient wizard civilization.

"...The essence of a wizard creating an Elental Spirit is to better attune to the natural universe.

The Dawn Third Rank, the nurturing, birth, and growth of the Elental Spirit, marks the wizards’ gradual steps into the Hall of Truth.

Level 4, Level 5, and Level 6 are the three most important accumulation stages for wizards; naturally, the ntor is what you need to strive to absorb and display the knowledge it imparts to you.

The grade of the Elental Spirit determines your activity scope and authority level within the Hall of Truth of the natural universe....

When you finish the Dawn Stage and the clock chis that mark the end of your first glimpse of truth, it’s ti to enter the next stage—Twilight."

Alazan’s tone suddenly rose a bit.

"Dawn, noon, dusk... when the sun sets, if you can’t break through the shadows before eternal night descends, to usher in immortal light..."

Alazan’s tone lowered, becoming heavy.

"...then you can only sink into twilight, as I have, until the bones are covered by the gloom."

Ronan stood there dazedly, feeling for the first ti a brutal, icy, yet magnificent impact.

Emotions surged within him, without an outlet for release.

At this ti, Alazan continued slowly: "

The end of Dawn is to grow the Elental Spirit to its peak and then rge it with oneself.

Upon reaching Level 7, the first thing you need to do is create your own Basic Rune."

"Basic Rune?"

"Yes, unlike the general concept of runes, the Basic Rune represents you, your everything—knowledge, courage, character, strength... everything etched in your soul.

From this, create a unique mark, a rune.

First inscribe it on your flesh, and once successful, your fresh blood carries the value of inheritance, blessing descendants, flowing in the river of ti in a form of bloodline..."

"Bloodline... So this is the true aning of bloodline."

Ronan murmured, at this mont seeming to finally understand why just with a [Frozen Soil] rune, he could earn Soraya’s close kin-like recognition.

It was because of the rune.

Exactly.

The true inheritance of a bloodline is the rune, Soraya knows this, so after the last mber of the "Ice Fla Iris" Lansite Family passed away, [Frozen Soil] beca the sole thing carrying their family’s spirit.

"...But if this step fails..."

Alazan paused, bringing the topic back to Ronan, "You’ll end up like you are now, which is what I previously referred to as—Level 7 ’Weakening Blood.’

A damaged rune, not inscribed completely successfully, while still gaining so power, will decay faster than a typical Level 7, and will forever lack the possibility of advancing to Level 8..."

Actually, my description of your body isn’t entirely accurate; you’re just sowhat akin to ’Weakening Blood.’

If ’Weakening Blood’ is like a tree about to wither and die, you should be a sapling in the growth stage.

Though both look sowhat similar in form and state, their essence is entirely different."

Alazan’s Wizard Lecture Hall concluded, and Ronan fell into prolonged digestion and contemplation.

According to Alazan, the growth of storm runes within his body implies an indirect inheritance of a fragnt of the Storm Weaver’s bloodline?

But why would this happen?

Even if the Storm Weaver’s spell attacks contained the essence of its mystical truth, it shouldn’t be so easily "stolen" by others, right?

Could the issue be...

"Your body."

Alazan seed to read Ronan’s thoughts at that mont, "Your body is quite peculiar.

Inconceivable.

It’s like a perfect blank slate, inherently ant for rune inscription."

Is it truly due to the [Pure Body]?

Ronan took a deep breath, struggling to calm the upheaval within.

He has always recognized the mystery and extraordinary nature of [Ascetic Body Refinent], from the birth of [Pure Body] to the ergence of [Ancient Power].

Now, this mystery and extraordinariness ascended in Ronan’s heart to another level.

Without any surprises, the reason his [Ascetic Body Refinent] is stuck at the last point of Master Level Perfection is due to the lack of one crucial material.

Previously, Ronan guessed that this material was Holy Shrine Power, and now, considering even Alazan’s amazent and praise for [Ascetic Body Refinent], this guess seems more plausible.

"It seems that seeking Holy Shrine Power should be promptly put on the agenda.."

Ronan thought to himself, and it seed like Alazan wanted to say sothing more to him, perhaps to find out how he obtained such a body, inquiring about [Ascetic Body Refinent].

And just at that mont, a swift sound of sothing cutting through the air arose.

The mist in front of the swamp split to both sides, and a robed figure quickly appeared in Ronan’s view.
