The tailless dark silver giant dragon was instantly frozen, its massive dragon body encased layer upon layer by thick blue ice, with the phantasms of five giant snakes coiling around it like chains.
Within the ice, large patches of black veins sprouted imdiately, resembling blood vessels, yet akin to so ancient and mysterious dreadful prohibition...
However, all of this persisted for less than five breaths before Ronan felt the power of the magic domain he had integrated begin to collapse precipitously.
"Crack, crack—"
Dense, narrow cracks appeared on the enormous ice mountain imprisoning the silver dragon; monts later...
"Boom!"
The forbidden ice mountain exploded, torrents of cold swept in all directions, enormous silver wings unfolded, dispersing the dust, and the dragon roar shook the void.
This powerful shockwave struck Ronan, sending him flying as though trampled by dozens of rampaging rhinos simultaneously, and when he landed, his whole body felt pain...
"This power... It’s truly terrifying..."
Ronan half-supported himself, barely standing up from the ground, gently wiping the bloodstain from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, his blue eyes full of awe.
[Hekarter’s Ancient Devourer], it’s one of the top three magic cards he has, even weakened by the special environnt of Spirit Space, its power is enough to threaten a typical Level 4 Dawn.
Yet before the dark silver tailless giant dragon, it’s fragile as if made of paper.
Giant dragon.
Before this, Ronan’s knowledge of this legendary creature was still vague, but now it has beco incredibly profound.
A paramount existence standing atop the biological food chain from ancient tis to the present, its majesty is not sothing ordinary people can challenge.
Not to ntion, who knows how much of its strength this dragon before him has preserved through the long ages, if at its peak, who knows how horrifying it might be.
"Rustle rustle—"
So debris fell from the sky, landing beside Ronan’s feet.
He looked up and saw a certain humanoid stone statue covered with cracks.
It was the stone statue he had crashed into earlier, the oldest and closest to decay among the faceless humanoid stone statues in the Stone Statue Square.
This stone statue now seed to reach a certain critical point, showing signs of collapse.
A suppressed low dragon roar ca from afar, and at this mont, Ronan grew a sense of empathy with the faceless humanoid stone statue.
Both of them... were feeling the strain.
"Roar!"
Accompanied by a ferocious roar, the massive dark silver dragon shadow shredded the ice mist, darting towards Ronan at incredible speed.
Terrifying dragon might surged like waves, crushing the air until it creaked, the skin surface pricked as if by countless needles...
Ronan’s scalp tightened, he could only continue running frantically.
In the vast Stone Statue Square, Ronan desperately searched for a direction to evade, the dark silver tailless giant dragon chasing closely behind, its twin wings stirring up violent turbulence, like a dreadful hurricane passing.
During the escape, Ronan occasionally threw out a few adept ice spells, trying to slow the pursuit of the tailless dragon sowhat.
His brain rotated rapidly, thinking of ways to break through.
The best thod was to leave here imdiately, but the Spirit Space was brought to Ronan by Ewaqu, wanting to leave, naturally, requires Ewaqu’s help.
However, Ewaqu is still undergoing trials in the Inheritance Space of the Wolf Witch Chief, and who knows when it’ll end.
Retreat towards the way he ca temporarily?
Ronan almost imdiately dismissed this idea.
Returning to previous layers of the Stone Statue Square requires passing through a long staircase, in the Stone Statue Square, he might barely maneuver leveraging the terrain and the dark silver giant dragon, but once the chase shifted to the narrow stone steps, he’d have no place to escape, and if he fell from the steps, perhaps he’d forever be lost in darkness and void.
Seems like the only option was delaying.
However, the ice magic was weak, Ronan’s strongest [Forbidden - Black Hole] couldn’t be deployed, the only thing he could rely on at this stage appeared to be the strength of his body.
Close combat with a legendary giant dragon?
Although Ronan had long been confident in his physical body, facing this choice, he was montarily undecided.
Just then, an odd humming sound suddenly echoed across the square.
Ronan imdiately looked toward the sound.
He saw Ewaqu’s soul plate, hovering before the Wolf Witch Head Stone Statue, now spinning, counterclockwise.
Ronan felt a sinking sensation in his heart.
The soul plate reversing ant Ewaqu’s first trial in the inheritance space had already failed, according to the previous agreent, he’s now supposed to move the soul plate to give Ewaqu a second trial opportunity.
But little did Ewaqu know, Ronan was now being pursued by a terrifying giant dragon, hardly able to protect himself.
"Let Ewaqu fail, co out of the inheritance space, then escape together?"
Ronan’s mind instantly reached a conclusion, the most right and sensible action for him at the mont.
But when it ca to taking action, Ronan hesitated again.
[This trial is extrely important to ...]
[..I only have this last chance.]
[Keep this Damien safe, in critical monts it can block all your soul waves, evade anything below Level 7 detection thods..]
Ewaqu’s image constantly appeared in Ronan’s mind, about all the assistance he provided before...
After weighing it thoroughly in his heart, Ronan finally made a certain decision, decisively changing direction, his figure turned into a blurred shadow rushing straight towards the soul plate that kept spinning with a hum.
