Chapter 534: Chapter 243 Agatha and Waliz

Looking at the oil painting in his hand, Ronan gently caressed the surface of the painting, and tiny flickers of light seeped into the canvas along his fingers.

Very soon, a magical scene occurred.

“Rustle rustle—”

The sound of flipping a book resounded, and the youth in the oil painting wearing a black robe seed to co to life, slowly turning the pages of the book he held.

Ronan relaxed his grip, and the whole canvas was lifted by an invisible force, firmly embedded on the wall directly across the entrance of the secret room. A thin layer of ice crystals rose, framing the entire oil painting like crystal, a tactic that could preserve the painting undecayed for hundreds of years or even longer.

Ronan quietly appreciated his portrait, which had been “activated” via special ans, and then flipped his right hand, producing four chilling ice balls in his palm.

The frost quickly lted, revealing a variety of tal objects encapsulated inside—so with engraved rhinoceros patterns on broken badges, so with parts of old copper pots missing…

Ronan gestured with his fingers, and the four tal objects exploded with a “bang”, transforming into big clumps of reddish-brown dense clouds.

From within the smoke, a deep roar of a monster erged, and faintly, a vast and thick body shimring with a tallic luster materialized.

Ronan remained calm, reciting short spells, and from the tips of his spread fingers, white light threads shot out, rapidly burrowing into the thick clouds.

Soon enough, all of reddish-brown dense clouds converged back into their original tal object forms, flying towards the four corners of the secret room, resting quietly.

Originally, at the ruins of the chanical Heart, Ronan had acquired many tal Elent Life forms and had kept them without dealing with them, but now they were being put to use.

Ronan crouched about five steps away from his portrait, tracing with his index finger on a stone slab.

As his fingertip moved across the stone slab, it lifted a faint trail of light, and with the final stroke, the entire rune quickly vanished, leaving no trace on the slab.

Ronan tapped the stone slab gently, and the hidden rune reappeared, emitting a “click” sound, revealing a half-foot-deep pit under the slab.

Ronan took out a small Waist Storage Bag he had prepared earlier and tossed it in, and after a thought, also added the mysterious Bone Spur he had obtained from Andriel, which could strike directly at an opponent’s soul.

Having done all this, he slowly stood up.

Surveying the still empty secret room, Ronan muttered to himself, “I have set up a Second-tier Rune Formation in this secret room, along with four Second-tier tal Elent Puppets…

On the East Coast, there probably isn’t a wizard who can contend against this force, it’s enough to protect the Damien Family’s bloodline from extinction for hundreds of years…”

“I have checked all of Damien Family’s people, unfortunately, none possesses the potential to beco a wizard, but there is a gardener’s son, who has decent talents…

I have already instructed my father that every Damien born in the future will enter this secret room once at the age of eight.

If they possess the Wizard Potential, they will be able to discern the clues hidden in this portrait and receive the inheritance of ditation Skill and Body Forging thod…”

“If their luck is good enough…”

Ronan glanced at the location where he had hidden the items, “and if they respect enough as an ancestor wizard of the Damien Family, willing to kowtow a few tis before my portrait…”

“Then they would obtain the complete set of inheritances and resources I stored underneath, sufficient to support their cultivation from Apprentice to Level 2 Wizard…”

“Perhaps, in a hundred years…”

“The Damien Family might slowly evolve into the wizard family you desire…”

Ronan stopped his self-talk, paused, and then looked at the stone wall in front of him, whispering gently, “Are you… still unsatisfied in any way?”

As if hearing his words, the handso youth in a black robe in the embedded oil painting put down his book, stood up, and quietly t his gaze through the canvas.

In an instant, Ronan felt sothing inside him rapidly lting, the familiar feelings of “fullness” and “clarity” rising again.

In his Consciousness Space, the eighth Spiritual Power Crystal was also rapidly completing.

So mysterious faint glows, hard for others to see, were emanating through his skin…

Ronan raised his hand, looking at his own “glowing”, semi-transparent right hand, his face showing a slightly satisfied expression.

He turned and left the secret room, the heavy stone door slowly closing behind him, with intricate runes flashing briefly on the door.

Walking up from underground to the castle’s garden, Ronan didn’t stop his steps but tread on air, step by step, reaching the castle’s spire where a flag representing the Damien Family hung, only then stopping.

A breeze lifted the hem of Ronan’s robe as he stood at the highest point of the castle, overlooking below.

In the open space in front of the castle, nearly a hundred young and robust n were neatly lined up, participating in the selection of guards and Knight apprentices.

So children were running around and playing inside the castle, the servants busily performing their duties…

On a shaded open space outside the castle, a witch Apprentice nad Sandri, with large ugly birthmarks on her face, was busy training the dozens of Undead Corpse Servants she had just cultivated.

The related spells were taught to her by Ronan, and for a Wandering Wizard who road the East Coast, living off a few damaged notebooks and plundering mortal wealth, the knowledge Ronan imparted to her was an unparalleled legacy.
