The sight of that imnse sea creature was still deeply etched into his mind, unable to be erased.

He had seen colossal creatures like this before; in the dreams of inheritance that belonged to Hekarter, he had witnessed the true form of the Ancient Frost Multi-Headed Snake and even the scene of its battle with the Phoenix.

But separated by ti and the illusionary mist, all that no longer seed vivid. The shock and impact were nothing compared to experiencing it in person.

For so inexplicable reason, Ronan felt an overwhelming urge welling up inside him.

He wanted to pursue the trail of that vast and ancient creature, even if it ant dying on the paths it once road!

The urge was so uncontrollable, like a devout pilgrim suddenly summoned by the call of their faith.

"I...I’ll lead it away..."

Ronan hastily threw out these words and then, throwing caution to the wind, dashed toward the ship’s edge and leaped into the direction where the gargantuan sea creature had sunk.

He didn’t know why he had such a mad thought. It was as if all his blood was boiling hot.

Countless droplets of rain and splashes struck Ronan while lightning repeatedly streaked across the sky above him.

It wasn’t long after stepping off the ship when Ronan completely lost his direction. Suddenly, a towering wave surged over him, engulfing him in the icy seawater.

Ronan struggled with all his might. The seven spiritual power crystals in his mind shone brilliantly like golden diamonds, his spiritual power unleashed to the extre, spreading out. Yet, the area it could cover was pitifully small compared to the vast expanse of the ocean.

He searched ceaselessly underwater, nearly forgetting what exactly he was looking for.

Suddenly, the surrounding seawater cald down, and a hazy silver light shone through, after which the whole underwater world was shrouded in a dreamy, silver hue.

Ronan stopped and floated motionlessly in the water.

Once again, he saw that vast and ancient creature.

This ti he got a clear view of the entire creature.

It was a massive silver fish with an incredibly long and winding body, reminiscent of an eel or similar sea creature.

Rough fin leaves grew on its back, and each scale bore intricately beautiful patterns like natural runes. Atop its head was a silver coral forest, exuding a hazy glow.

When it turned its head, Ronan locked eyes with it. The deep eyes of the silver eel did not contain Ronan’s presence, but within those depths, Ronan saw a whole, vast, and infinite deep-sea world...

Ti silently passed, and it was unknown how much ti had gone by.

A slight burning sensation on his cheeks woke Ronan, and he slowly opened his eyes.

The blazing sun hanging in the sky cast bright sunlight that was sowhat blinding.

Ronan blocked it with his hand, propped himself up, and found he was lying on the surface of gently undulating water.

The sky was clear, the air was fresh, and the seas were calm around him.

Thunder, torrential rain, the storm, and that imnse silver eel... everything had vanished, as if it had all been just a dream.

Ronan felt an inexplicable emptiness in his heart, he looked up at the sun above, his eyes filled with confusion.

He sat on the sea surface for a long ti before he gradually collected his emotions and followed the connection between him and Molli’er, flying in a certain direction.

After a while, he suddenly saw a figure approaching him.

It was the green-haired girl, followed by the stern man with black patterns on his face.

Seeing Ronan, his eyes visibly relaxed, he nodded slightly at Ronan, and without any exchange, they both flew back in the direction from which the other had co.

Soon they saw the magic spaceship floating in the air, its rune formation on the ship’s body reactivated, and soone stood on the deck looking out, the scene serene and peaceful.

Ronan and the man with the black patterns caught up with the spaceship, and as soon as they landed, Ronan was unexpectedly embraced by a small figure.

Ronan tensed up, his nose and mouth filled with Molli’er’s scent. He heard her whimpering in his arms like a kitten, but when he looked down, he only caught a fleeting glimpse of her mischievously teasing eyes.

"You’re too impulsive..."

"Bravery often equates to recklessness... Since you chose to bring her along, you should think more of her. Without you, she wouldn’t survive..."

The stern man’s voice echoed in Ronan’s ears, and the corners of his mouth twitched slightly.

The latter gently patted his shoulder and then walked past him towards the front. At the end of the deck, the green-haired girl watched this scene with a face full of relief and blessing.

Ronan: "..."

...

A few monts later, in Ronan’s room.

Molli’er kept patting herself as if she found the scent of Ronan on her body repulsive.

"Is this amusing to you?"

Ronan watched her with an expressionless face.

"I find it quite amusing."

Molli’er seed to enjoy seeing Ronan with that expression, perhaps this was the only thod she could think of to "retaliate" against Ronan at this stage.

"Let’s talk about you..."

Molli’er stopped her patting and smirked at him, "I thought you weren’t coming back, I was already prepared to ’die for love’ at any mont..."

Ronan fell silent, then shook his head after a while, "I don’t know why? I just felt like doing that."

"That’s normal."

Molli’er spoke indifferently, and Ronan looked up at her sowhat surprised.

"The stronger and more ancient a creature is, the more attractive its life force field becos to the weaker... just like moths drawn to fla, this is particularly evident in wizards with bloodlines."

"Then why weren’t you affected at all?"

Molli’er rolled her eyes, "What a foolish question, have you ever seen fire chasing after water?"

Ronan fell quiet, but Molli’er smirked at him and continued, "You can’t even control the instincts of your bloodline, I really don’t know why the ’Nirvana’ ceremony failed initially?"

Of course, Ronan wouldn’t say it was the power of the Yarlis Ice Ring that caused all of this, he paused, then changed the subject and asked, "Did you see that creature? Do you know its origin?"

Molli’er shook her head, "In the regions between continents and filled by the sea, many such ancient lives dwell. Many have existed since ancient tis, and even from the more distant primordial era. Only a tiny part of them is observed by the Wizard World, and of course, not every ancient being is powerful enough to deserve its own na..."

Ronan pondered, while Molli’er clapped her hands and walked towards the door of the room, "Well, it’s about ti. There’s a little cutie outside the door probably waiting for to tell her stories..."

Ronan ignored her, absorbed in his thoughts.

He carefully recollected the scene when he saw the silver eel yesterday, besides the attraction of bloodline instinct as Molli’er ntioned, what really drove him to recklessly chase after it... might be "destiny"!

In the face of an irresistible disaster, that silver eel leaping out of the sea seed to beco the irresistible "destiny" itself in Ronan’s heart at that mont.

During the fight for the title of Genius, he understood what path he should take in the future, what he wanted to pursue.

So he followed without hesitation, trying to see the truth of "destiny" in order to grasp the power to control his own fate.

"Sigh——"

Ronan exhaled lightly, feeling like his spirit had undergone so transformation after the night before, with so beliefs growing even firr.

He casually took out a rune, imrsed his mind in it, and ti slowly passed by in cultivation.

...

After the incident with the silver eel, the rest of the journey returned to calmness.

This route from the Southern Wizard World to the East Coast, verified by countless fleets, is the safest. The silver eel was just an extrely rare occurrence, which Ronan and his company unluckily encountered, but fortunately, there were no accidents.

Ronan continued his days of arduous practice, and unwittingly, most of the journey had already passed.

On a morning with gentle winds and bright sun, Ronan and Molli’er stood side by side on the top deck, gazing at the distant seascape.

Beside them stood a green-haired young girl and a stern-looking man with black patterns who never left her side.

"Less than a week until we reach the East Coast...

Molly, are you certain you won’t consider coming with us?"

Leaning on the railing, the green-haired girl spoke wistfully to Molli’er.

In less than two months, the girl nad Beatrix had already ford a profound one-sided friendship with Molli’er, like sisters with nothing to hide from each other.

With their parting imminent, she had said similar things to Ronan and Molli’er many tis.
