After hesitating montarily, Ronan slowly extended his spiritual power into the adjacent room.
Soon, he "saw" Molli’er sitting by the window, alternately tapping the wooden window fra with the index and middle fingers of her right hand, and it seed she was also softly humming sothing.
Like an ancient and beautiful ballad.
For so reason, Ronan felt an inexplicable stir in his heart.
He had never seen this side of Molli’er, and she seed like a completely different person from the image he had of her in his mind.
Very peaceful, very serene.
Yet her face and her singing also expressed deep longing and sorrow.
"Does the despised and annoying Witch also have such an unknown side?"
"Perhaps this ’misfortune’ has made her realize sothing..."
Ronan thought to himself.
Suddenly, the singing and tapping sounds next door abruptly stopped.
Through his spiritual power scan, Molli’er, who was sitting by the window, suddenly stood up, her face curling into a cold smile as she "looked" at him, her mouth shaping what seed to be curse words.
Ronan felt the sha of being caught spying and imdiately realized it was his surface emotions in the "Symbiosis" state that Molli’er had picked up on.
He was just about to retract his spiritual power, pretending nothing had happened.
But just then, Molli’er, who had been staring coldly at him, suddenly turned pale and then violently turned to look up at the sky outside the window.
At about the sa ti, Ronan felt a sudden and intense sense of alarm within himself.
That feeling, as if so extrely dangerous threat was rapidly approaching him.
This alarm originated from Molli’er!
"Boom!"
Without ti to think, Ronan’s spiritual power suddenly expanded, transforming into an invisible force that directly tore through the wall separating the two rooms.
He crossed through the wall hole, arriving beside Molli’er in a flash.
"They’re here?!"
Ronan’s expression was solemn as he followed Molli’er’s gaze upward into the sky.
"We need to leave now!"
Molli’er, however, muttered as she shook her head, "It’s too late."
Suddenly, her expression rapidly changed, revealing a slightly crazed and liberated smile.
"Just in ti, just in ti to kill this despicable bug!"
Molli’er, looking at Ronan with a cheerful and triumphant smile, radiated indescribable pride and relief.
"I won’t die so easily... but you, once you’re dead, you’re truly dead... hehe..."
"Bang! Crack—"
Ronan’s large hand harshly struck Molli’er’s sleek, beautiful nape, cutting off her sinister and evil laughter instantly, turning it into a pained grunt as she suddenly raised her head, biting her lower lip while her tear-filled eyes fiercely stared at him, as if ready to pounce and bite him.
Ronan furrowed his brow, he had intended to knock Molli’er unconscious, not expecting her to have such high resilience against fainting, nearly breaking her shoulder bone but still not knocking her out.
Without ti to follow up with another hit, Ronan grabbed Molli’er and flew straight out the window.
At that mont, he clearly perceived a vast spiritual power at the Level 4 Dawn, full of dense and chilly sinister aura, across vast spatial distances, descending from the high skies.
Looking upward visually, over the Hor Blue Wizard Town in the sky, a layer of thick, nearly impenetrable grey clouds was swiftly sweeping across from one horizon like a tidal wave.
Within those grey clouds, the figure of a middle-aged man with purple hair dressed in pale Bone Armor was faintly visible.
Ronan’s pupils constricted as he took a deep breath.
Suddenly, as if determined, a glint of Crimson flashed stealthily in his eyes, and he fiercely tossed Molli’er down below, forcefully knocking on the inner Forbidden Door, ready to confront the figure head-on.
"You run, I’ll try to... hold him off for a while!"
