Suddenly, a mass of gray mist erged from around the figure, enveloping it completely and preventing even the sunlight from penetrating. The person instantly exuded a sinister and cold aura.

"Swish—"

Ronan suddenly opened his eyes, picked up a square, odd cow bell in his hand, and gently shook it. Strangely, no sound ca from it, but the surrounding gray mist was completely absorbed by the cow bell.

"Sigh—"

Ronan exhaled a breath of turbid air, quietly reflecting on the gains he had made over these past few days.

He had thoroughly researched the strange cow bell obtained from Ma Fulin; it was a rather advanced Undead Magic Tool that contained a Ghost Space, specially designed to house Ghosts.

Ronan did not find the complete inheritance of the "Bone Bell" within it, but he did discover the inheritance of a powerful Undead Magic spell, nad—[Ghost Arrow]!

This spell was of a high grade, suitable only for Level 4 Wizards.

Like so other Undead spells Ronan had encountered, [Ghost Arrow] also required the cultivation of an Undead Servant before casting could comnce. However, the principle of [Ghost Arrow] was highly advanced; it transford a Ghost into sothing akin to a "Soul Arrow" that could directly attack the opponent’s soul.

The discovery of this spell greatly surprised Ronan.

During the battle with the Ancient Spirit Witch Awaki, Ronan realized his extre deficiency in soul defense and offensive capabilities, a deadly weakness indeed. His victory against Awaki had been a fluke.

The ergence of [Ghost Arrow] greatly compensated for this shortcoming of Ronan’s.

At least in the future, when facing similar opponents, he would not be rely a sitting duck, passively taking hits.

"No wonder Ma Fulin couldn’t cast this spell; it turns out he hadn’t mastered it... I guess no one has learned this spell for many generations, otherwise the ’Bone Bell’s’ notoriety in the Southern district would have been ten tis more terrifying!"

Although he couldn’t practice it at the current stage, he could start with so preparatory work.

The most crucial aspect of mastering [Ghost Arrow] was the need for a Ghost, and as it happened, Ronan had a suitable one on hand.

Gently shaking the cow bell, an uncanny spell fluctuation arose, and a dense nearly black mist surged out of the bell, followed by the appearance of a figure in front of Ronan.

It was a short-haired, pale-faced young man with tears of blood in his eyes.

Dressed in a tattered, nearly decayed Magic Robe, under the sunlight, apart from the gray mist swirling around him, he looked almost indistinguishable from a normal person.

Except his entire body was grayish-white, resembling a ticulously outlined character from a comic book, lacking only the final steps of coloring.

An extrely strong hatred emanated from the grayish-white young man, causing the ambient temperature to drastically drop, nearly forming clusters of ice flowers.

This young Ghost, nurtured in the cow bell space after being murdered by Ma Fulin, bore intense resentnt, and after various secret thods of cultivation by Ma Fulin, had beco a very powerful ghostly servant.

Perhaps Ma Fulin had planned to use him as an "Arrow Embryo" for cultivating [Ghost Arrow].

Later, upon being defeated by Ronan, Ma Fulin was directly devoured by his own Ghost.

Ronan was not sure how many Ghosts were initially cultivated within the cow bell space; he knew only that now, this was the only Ghost left.

All other Ghosts had been devoured by this young Ghost.

Now, it could truly be considered a pri "Arrow Embryo"!

Any wizard practicing the Undead ghostly arts would likely yearn crazily upon seeing it.

"Co back."

Ronan shook the cow bell, and the grayish-white young Ghost turned back into a mist and returned to the cow bell space.

He perford so simple "master recognition" operations on the grayish-white young Ghost as per his learning in Undead magic, but the main ans of controlling it still relied on the Bone Bell, the cow bell Magic Tool.

At present, it seems to have been completely subdued.

But in this world, nothing is foolproof, and Ma Fulin is a perfect example of this.

"Studying Undead Magic inevitably ans facing these risks.

To avoid backlash, one must strengthen oneself..."

Ronan was very clear about this understanding; he also had his own confidence. His spiritual will was at least ten tis that of Ma Fulin, so he didn’t have to worry about the possibility of ghost backlash in the short term.

During the process of "taming" this ghost, Ronan also obtained so information about the ghost of a young pale boy.

This young ghost was nad Ahaxia, a noble from a mundane kingdom, similar to Ronan. However, his wizard talent was excellent. Being discovered and ntored by the previous "Bone Bell," everything had gone smoothly, and he even had a great chance of inheriting the mantle of the "Bone Bell."

Unfortunately, after being slain by Ma Fulin, it was no wonder he harbored such deep resentnt.

Ronan fiddled with the cow bell in his hand, flipping his palm over and pulling out an archaically styled peculiar bone spur.

This bone spur ca from "Ghost Mask’s" Andriel, and was also one of the spoils of war from the Genius Competition.

Ronan had already studied it; this bone spur was also a soul attack type magic tool. He had experienced its power firsthand—sinister and venomously unstoppable.

The only flaw is that the spectral light released by the bone spur cannot automatically lock onto the opponent; it must be manually controlled by the spellcasters.

But thinking back to the perilous situation when he faced the attack of this bone spur, within the Mist Rank, there must be few wizards who could dodge such a bone spur attack from a certain distance.

After all, how many wizards could refine their physical bodies to such an extre extent like Ronan?

These three days, Ronan was primarily organizing his gains, aside from these external acquisitions, next was the enhancent of his own strength.

Putting aside the significant growth in the proficiency of his various ace spells, the biggest enhancent should be the [Ascetic Body Refinent], where the Master Level Proficiency has almost reached fourteen hundred points.

After the bloody battle at Heramus, Ronan was able to "glimpse" the territories beyond the Extraordinary Magic Realm into the "Forbidden Domain," which also confird to him that beyond Master Level Proficiency, there must certainly exist higher realms.

After the [Ascetic Body Refinent] entered the Master Level, the derived [Pure Body] has always been Ronan’s largest and most important ace.

He truly anticipated what form the [Pure Body] would transform into after the Master Level Proficiency of [Ascetic Body Refinent] is complete.

And the [Ancient Power] rune born from [Pure Body] is estimated to also undergo stronger changes.

At this mont, within Ronan’s Consciousness Space, the sixth Spiritual Power Crystal was nearly complete, and the "benefits" brought by the surge in soul power hadn’t fully receded yet; he estimated that for a long ti to co, Ronan’s spiritual power would maintain this rapid growth state.

"Forbidden Mist Zone... the tenth Spiritual Power Crystal..."

Right now, Ronan was considering this point.

He saw greater potential beyond the limit of the Mist Rank on Selena; if possible, he naturally wanted to strive in that direction.

After all, the Mist is a foundational stage; strengthening one’s foundation could never be too excessive, and one day he would look back and be grateful for every effort made now.

Selena did not reveal how to step into the Forbidden Mist Zone or how to condense the tenth Spiritual Power Crystal; this might also be a well-guarded secret in the Central Wizard World.

Ronan could only see if he would have the opportunity to access this secret in the future.

Besides that, during these three days, he completed the final incomplete part of the Soul Seal [Schiper’s Golden Decree] crystallised in the fifth Spiritual Power Crystal.

Unless there are surprises, the [Spiritual Moya’s Golden Fire] tal Magic inheritance would be the main direction of Ronan’s cultivation going forward.

Ronan was contemplating this when suddenly, at this mont, the Titanium tal attached under his Magic Robe felt a series of unusual movents.
