Chapter 312: Chapter 160: Ancient Witch Revival Association, Lola, Jupiter

“According to legend, this area used to be a gathering place for Goblins, and more than a hundred years ago, there were sightings of Goblins on this plain.”

“There have always been rumors that underneath the Goblin plain, a Goblin treasure is buried.”

“See those grass-covered pits and ravines? They are all artificially excavated using Spells…”

Ronan, listening to Clents’ narration, asked casually, “Has anyone ever found the treasure?”

“Of course not.”

Clents shook his head, “Otherwise this plain would have been turned upside down long ago, and there would be more than just a few pits…”

Regarding the “Goblin” ntioned by Clents, Ronan had seen an introduction to them in an Ancient Wizard Book.

Goblins are a very magical species; they are short in stature, ugly in appearance, and most Goblins seem weak, foolish, and vulgar… They almost embody all the shortcomings of humans, not much different from Magic Beasts, and are of a relatively inferior Bloodline among them.

However, within this species, there are always so “Pure Bloods.”

These “Pure Blood” Goblins and the common ones are simply at two extres; they are intelligent, nimble, eloquent and naturally possess extrely high Spell Talent, even including the most difficult to comprehend Space-related and Ti-related Spells.

But these “Pure Bloods” share the sa shortcomings as common Goblins—greedy and lowly characteristics, evil, crafty, and adept at deceit.

They have an incomprehensible obsession with the world’s treasures, and the Spells they learn are often used for stealing, robbery, and plundering…

Thus, there have always been legends about “Goblin treasures” on this continent.

Almost everyone knows that behind every “Pure Blood” Goblin often lies an unimaginably grand treasure, but very few people have ever found and obtained it.

Just like the departed Mirror Court, many magical ancient species left their original habitats after the continental fracturing and the sinking of ability particles. Maybe they have gone to the lower continents, or perhaps they have simply been swallowed by the rolling rivers of ti… No one knows.

Ronan and Clents leaned against the bow of the airship, chatting casually.

Most of the ti it was Clents speaking, with Ronan listening.

Ronan deeply suspected that Clents had been “instructed” by Ring Master Kosti, and that accompanying him to the Goblin plain was mainly to provide “pre-battle psychological counseling” to ease his tension and anxiety.

“Where’s Deby?”

After chatting for a while, Ronan asked about the Wizard Deby offhandedly. Clents shook his head, indicating that the other might be ditating.

Alright.

After a few encounters, Ronan also noticed that geniuses like Clents and Deby were quite diligent in private.

Despite appearing casual and relaxed while chatting with Ronan, in fact, Clents would seize every possible mont to ditate and improve himself.

Before this, all three of them would stay inside the airship without exchanging half a word for nearly half a day, each busy with their own things.

Sotis, the “Genius” who appears glorious and dazzling in the eyes of others, because they stand taller than the average person and have seen those with stronger talents and greater achievents than themselves, often work harder than average individuals.

Just as he was thinking, Ronan suddenly heard Clents’ urgent low voice.

“Damien?!”

Ronan was startled and looked up to see Clents squinting in a certain direction.

Following Clents’ gaze, he saw a small patch of fiery red Maple Forest on the far reaches of the plain, where there seed to be so unusual black presence.

His vision was much better than the average Wizard’s, and he could vaguely make out what seed to be a strangely shaped pattern.

Clents spoke up:

“Shall we go take a look?”

Ronan didn’t refuse.

Clents left a ssage for Deby, who was ditating, using the Communication Stone, and then steered the airship towards the distant Maple Forest.

The airship swiftly descended, quickly nearing the location of the Maple Forest.

Upon closer inspection, the two saw that the black color falling amongst the trees was an unknown mix of rotting flesh and mucus, which seed to have undergone manual Spell processing.

This black decayed flesh and mucus ford a pattern of overlapping rings, with the top three rings intact and the bottom ones broken and scattered.

The whole pattern was slowly seeping into the ground, with faint energy fluctuations emanating from it. Standing on the Magic Airship and looking down at the entire bizarre pattern, amid the blood-red maple leaves, Ronan inexplicably felt a sense of gloom and eeriness.

Ronan turned his head, and just as Clents turned his face towards him, the two exchanged a silent look, seeing a light shade of perplexity and unease in each other’s eyes.

Clents gave Ronan a look, then stopped the airship and began to approach the Maple Forest slowly.

At that mont, a low voice sounded from behind them.

“Don’t go over there.”

Ronan turned around and saw Deby, who had been in ditation, had co out from the inside of the airship without him noticing and was quickly walking towards them.

“That looks like the symbol of the Ancient Witch Revival Association…”

Deby stopped Clents, his expression looking sowhat grave and tense, constantly scanning the surroundings.

“The Ancient Witch Revival Association?”

Ronan furrowed his brows.

“Is it that notorious apocalyptic Organization?”

Clents quickly spoke up, seeming to connect sothing from Deby’s words.
