Erian nodded with a smile. "I know. Its all thanks to you for helping us reduce the requirents from the governnt."
"Hmm, at least you know that. However you know what happens when you are unable to fulfill the requirents right? There's no useless person within my compound. If you are unable to fulfil the requirents, your room would be given to the others and you will have to spend the night outside, at the waste dump! Think about it carefully."
Erian was slightly alard. He knew that scavengers who are unable to pay the requirents would be cast outside, to the Waste Dump without the protection of the building.
It was stated that nights at the Waste Dump is very dangerous with radioactive rats and insects the size of an adult human coming out from their hiding holes at night, hunting for food. Nobody had ever survived five consecutive nights at the waste dump.
Satisfied with Erian's reaction, Mr Ben nodded
Having cald down a bit, Erian smiled with a slight embarrassnt in his voice, he said. "Mr Ben, during my last sterilising process, my Neotrene chemical resistant gloves was punctured and my chemicals are now exhausted, so... "
Mr Ben instantly grinned widely. "That's no problem at all. I will give you a pair of chemical resistance gloves, and five bottles of lithotic liquids for just 5000, what do you think."
This was the only flaw Mr Ben had. When it cos to money, he could be extrely cruel. Erian clenched his fist tightly and his expression clearly darkened. Mr Ben was obviously taking advantage of him.
Normally a pair of chemical resistant glove was sold for at most 1000 and Lithotic liquid which is the chemical usually used for sterilising the Syringes cost about 500. Five bottles of the liquid and one pair of gloves should have fist at most 3500, but Mr Ben suddenly increased the price to 5000, making Erian slightly furious.
"I only have two thousand units, I'm hoping I could borrow the equipnts from you and pay later..."
Erian hadn't finished speaking when Mr Ben's expression changed and he instantly got angry. "You have no money and you want to borrow my equipnt? If you keep this up, you will be destined to remain a civilian your entire life, only passing through high-school! You might not even be able to graduate! "
With that, the middle aged man slamd the door shut, but not without telling Erian to co retrieve the equipnts from his apartnt.
Erian shouldn't be angry since the middle-aged supervisor was actually telling the truth but even then, a trace of anger flashed past his face. Not just anyone could remain calm while been repeatedly insulted.

Very soon, Erian ca back to his room with a bottle of Lithotic liquid and a pair of worn out gloves.
He glanced towards the two mountains of syringes that was at the corner of his room the previous owner of this body had already sterilized 300 tal-glass Syringes, which ant he needed to sterilize 200 more of the tal-glass Syringes.
Reluctantly placing the thoughts of practicing more stances to the back of his mind, Erian made the necessary preparations. He wore the gloves and walked up to the pile of used tal syringes, squaring down, he instantly got to work.
With the grace of a million practice, he dismantled the screw tal nub tightening the tal needle to the syringe and the threw it to a gabbage can nearby. His hands moved again and in one fluid motion, he had separated the syringe into four different parts, throwing the parts into the tub of diluted Lithotic liquid he had prepared.
After which, he repeated the process and in the blink of an eye, he had dismantled five tal-glass Syringes.
He had only just gotten to his sixth when he noticed a blueish fluid faintly sticking to the glass of the tal syringe.
"It's not even up to a drop." Erian sighed and was about to dismantle the syringe when a few words appeared in his line of sight, instantly stunning him.

Erian swallowed hard and he almost dropped the syringe that was in his hands.
Typically, if a drop of serum could be found within a syringe, an experienced scavenger would extract the drop, using their special thod like a personal modified syringe.
They would then accumulate the sa type of drops of serum they could find until the syringe is finally filled before they sell it or use it.
However, no one would ever directly devour the drop of serum since it was directly courting death. If the dosage isn't complete, just taking little of the serum could lead to death as the radioactive energy within the serum would gradually destroy the body of there wasn't a direct effect to one's strength.
A full serum would increase one's strength without causing any adverse effect while half of the serum could be devastating to the body. Since it wouldn't increase strength, it could cause the body to mutate in an unpredictable direction and if taken repeatedly for a long ti, the effect could be devastating. Which is why no one would dare take a serum that's missing even a drop.
Now, Erian could vividly see the absorbable option just at the buttom of the description, this instantly stunned him but also made him sceptical.
'Could it be that my system could filter the harmful material in the drop of serum and extract only the energy within?'
'If that is the case, It seems I've actually struck gold!' Erian's body trembled in excitent.
