The sun poured its gentle glow over the balcony, embracing the figure who stood there with a glass of Chateau Mouton Rothschild red wine. He swirled the cup in his hands for a few minutes before taking a slow, appreciative sip.

He stood elegantly in a well-polished black suit, simple black trousers, and a striking red tie. His sharp, green eyes observed the beautiful scenery of the garden below.

The birds chirped in a harmonious symphony, butterflies dancing delicately atop the flowers.

The air suddenly shifted, and the birds flew away, scattering with loud, startled noises.

The man pinched his nose in annoyance. "Apparently, so people have no sense of privacy. I think you should learn it," he said, shooting a sharp glare at the figure who had just leaped onto his balcony from below.

"That’s rude, considering I’m here to help you," Mask’s voice echoed back with a playful chuckle.

"And who might you be?" The man, Ronald, turned to see the figure clearly.

"Just soone who has matching views with you," Mask said with a casual shrug.

"And what views might that be?" Ronald raised a brow in question, taking yet another sip from his glass.

"How should I say it?" Mask asked, rubbing his beardless chin jokingly. "The society shouldn’t be ruled by a bunch of kids who have no idea how politics works."

Ronald burst into a laugh as though he had heard the funniest joke of his life. "Seeing that you’re a kid yourself saying this... isn’t that ironical? What makes you think you even know what politics is?" His gaze sharpened as he threw the question at the masked figure.

"I don’t know much about politics, but I do know that when you want to deal with an opponent, you will need the power of the masses."

Ronald’s brow arched at his words, but even before he could say a thing, Mask continued, "I might just have what you need to get the full support of the people."

Ronald stared at the figure cautiously as he took a sip from his wine. "Why should I trust a stranger who just jumps onto my balcony?"

"Because politics doesn’t care about identity, it only cares about benefits. And I can assure you that you’ll get that from ," Mask replied, slowly reaching into his clothes and pulling out a sleek, small device.

Ronald’s brows furrowed with curiosity as he saw the device, but after seeing the display from it, his eyes widened. "This... This is perfect!"

The flight to the settlent was a rather fast one; in no ti, they had arrived in front of the Coast City.

Imdiately recognizing his figure, all the guards flinched in fear. They didn’t even bother to ask any questions as they let them pass.

With Larry nervously taking the lead, they were guided toward the administrative block.

To Akhil’s surprise, they had already repaired the entire structure. If he wasn’t the cause of the destruction in the first place, he would have probably thought that nothing had ever happened there.

As they got closer to the building, they could see several reporters crowding the front of the block, caras flashing from ti to ti. Protesters stood not too far from them, waving their signboards where they wrote in bold letters:

"WE NEED A NEW LORD! WE WANT THE PREVIOUS GOVERNNT"

"LET ADULTS RULE! NOT KIDS"

Seeing the signboards, Akhil didn’t know how to react. Considering the imnse security Samxon had put into place, these people still had the guts to look down on the administration’s efforts. The truth was simple: no matter what type of defense they put up, it would still have been nearly impossible to stop him from killing Samxon. He was confident in that much.

This also showed how naive the people still were, and how they had yet to realize just what the introduction of abilities had done. It had fundantally tipped the balance, allowing people with superhuman abilities to be birthed. There was obviously no way that normal civilians would be able to stop the gars, even with their modern weapons. Simply put, people with no abilities had no ans to rule people with abilities.

Seeing them protest was a rather funny sight rather than a disturbing one.

"Where is the new City Lord!"

"Yeah, where is he? Our security is bad! How could an orc enter into the settlent! What assurance do we have of our safety!"

"Let us through! We want to see the City Lord! We can’t let soone incompetent take rule of this city again! We need a good ruler!"

As they made their way toward the crowd, the protesters quickly turned, catching sight of Akhil.

Their faces instantly paled as they all scrambled away in fear, creating a significant distance between themselves and him, as though he were a plague.

"It’s an orc! An orc in the city again!"

"What’s that animal doing here?"

The crowd burst into a chaotic chatter, their whispers echoing throughout the gathering. Unbeknownst to them, no matter how much they reduced their voices, with his sharp senses, Akhil could hear every word they muttered.

But he didn’t react.

’Racists,’ Akhil thought. A devilish thought flashed through his mind, but he shoved it to the back, ignoring the fearful group as he followed behind Ben and Larry.

As the three ca into full view, the dia quickly surged around them, caras flashing, microphones struggling to reach the front.

"Do you have your speech ready?" Larry asked Akhil in a strained whisper.

"No, but I know exactly what I want to say," Akhil said firmly.

Larry gulped nervously as he took the step forward toward the dia. All the caras were pointing at him, and mics edged closer.

"Ahem," he cleared his throat softly, keeping a straight face as he stared into the cara.

People all over the Coast City stared at their screens in anticipation, seeing him step up. All the billboards, TVs, and dia devices only showed his face at the mont, waiting anxiously to hear what he had to say concerning the recent issues.

"Today, we’ll be getting a new speech from the new City Lord, and the leader of the orcs, whom we will now be working with... This will—"

"Working with?" Just before he could finish, a voice loudly interrupted him.

The dia turned toward the individual that appeared, the protesters rallying behind him. Ronald kept a calm, wicked smile as he stared at Akhil, Ben, and Larry.

"This amuses . Because if this new administration wants to work together with these orcs, it truly bothers what plans you have for us all."

Everyone stared at Ronald with slight confusion in their gazes, wondering what exactly he was talking about.

"Who is that?" Akhil asked Ben, who was standing stiffly by his side.

Ben frowned deeply, recognizing Ronald. "That’s the leader of the Bureau."

Akhil didn’t know why, but he felt his coming here wouldn’t be peaceful like he expected.

And that just happened to be the case as Ronald continued, his voice echoing over the assembly:

"Please, will you mind to explain this!"

Everyone’s eyes went wide as they saw what he brought with him.
