The notification hung there for three seconds, giving everyone ti to process what they were seeing, what they were being asked to do.

Then it added one final line that made the situation absolutely clear:

{Target: Akhil - Monarch’s Vessel}

{Threat Level: CATASTROPHIC}

Akhil looked at them all from his position hovering above the destroyed basent, blood vortex still swirling behind him, wings spread, eyes burning with hunger that exceeded anything human.

And smiled.

The part of him that was still Akhil—trapped in the corner of his fragnting consciousness—scread silent warnings that no one could hear, but it didn’t have to struggle for too long.

{You have entered the lobby}

anwhile, the part that had beco sothing else looked at the arena full of divine-touched blood and whispered words that carried harmonics of sothing ancient and terrible:

"Co then. Feed . Help ascend."

The arena held its breath.

And then, because there was no other choice, because the system had given them direct orders, because waiting ant death for everyone—

The fighters moved as one toward the thing that had been their leader.

The real fight was beginning.

The gods entered into an uproar, noticing that Jeren hadn’t done as they had told him to.

{God Poloneus: You insolent human! How dare you!}

An imnse divine pressure filled the entire stadium, so powerful that almost no one could breathe.

The sheer power of the great God Poloneus descending upon the mortal world.

The clouds ripped apart, revealing a pitch-black darkness.

Space bent and rippled, as though a large teorite was bashing its way through.

Jeren imdiately collapsed onto his platform, his body pressed against the earth.

Every person in the arena was quickly overwheld by the imnse pressure—all but one person. Akhil flew in the sky almost as though unaware of what was happening.

All he could feel was the powerful divine presence. His eyes lit up with delight as he stared into the void space that appeared above the sky.

"A powerful divine essence!" He could feel it instantly, an energy more powerful than Najim or the titan he had faced earlier.

He wanted it! He wanted that divine essence.

"I’ll devour you!" He roared as he flew towards the space.

{God Verbraucht: Poloneus, calm down. We can’t let the Monarch into the divine realm. If you keep pouring more energy into the lower realm, a rift will surely open.}

{God Poloneus: I’m killing that bastard first!}

Bolts of lightning crackled at the entrance of the space right before Akhil could get any closer. It took shape, forming an embodint of lightning.

The air crackled with energy as it thrust out a lightning spear towards Akhil.

The two were quickly locked in a fight, while God Poloneus returned his attention to the tournant overseer.

The pressure returned, stronger than before.

The guardian’s eyes shot open. In an attempt to save the one it was bonded to, Jeren felt a subtle feeling of ease as the pressure elevated, but a soft, serene voice ca from the heavens.

{Goddess Nova: Be gone.}

A simple word that seed to control reality itself. In an instant, the guardian shattered like fragnts of glass.

In that brief mont, the realization dawned on him. He started the tournant for a purpose. He had told the gods it was for their entertainnt, but that was never his plan. The tournant was to grow his army—to breed warriors that would one day lead his charge to the heavens to enact his revenge on the beings who had enslaved him.

But he had forgotten the reason why he had beco a titan, the reason why he could even harbor such a dream was because of the gods. It was power he had borrowed from them, but yet that slight exposure to the power of gods had left him deluded.

Now though, the realization struck him like a truck.

The power he had borrowed could easily be snatched back.

’This... this is the power of a god,’ Jeren thought, gritting his teeth as he tried to keep his body from turning to at paste. His face was slowly being driven into the earth from the imnse pressure.

’These bastards!’ Jeren roared inwardly.

{Goddess Daylith: You fool! You have no idea what you’ve done. We gave you a simple task. Death alone won’t be enough to let you atone for your sins.}

The gods’ chat stead with raw, unfiltered rage, and it all ca crashing down on Jeren.

But even amidst the shouts and burning rage, Jeren’s eyes caught the sight of the Monarch in the distance, and the thought struck him: ’Why should I be angry if I died here?’

’The gods are angry? Isn’t that a good thing?’ He could feel the fear beneath the anger. While he wasn’t able to do anything to them, he had released a weapon that could. The fear of the gods—the Monarch. The Titan of Death.

The fight between him and the lightning avatar didn’t last up to a minute, and right now the lightning avatar was subrged in the blood vortex, getting ripped apart and absorbed, and he resud quickly making his way for the void.

{Goddess Nova: Poloneus, close the void.}

With hesitation, the void began to close.

Jeren let out a loud, hysterical laughter that carried blood due to his compressed lungs.

"You think this is over?! Even if I die! He’s already here and there’s nothing you divine pieces of shit can do about it!"

The gods fell silent in brief realization.

But even before he could revel in his excitent, he felt the pressure spread through his body. Instantly, he was squashed like an ant.

Blood and viscera painted the place where his body once was. His organs splattered around.

As the void closed, a serene voice ca from above, spreading through the entire arena.

It was calm and soothing, and almost as though it seed to carry an energy of its own, one that healed their injuries and gave them strength.

{You’re under the influence of Goddess Nova’s divine voice.}

The system quickly announced.

{Humans, we have been blinded by our immortality and have embraced cowardice over the years. But now is a ti for us to atone for our sins and fight. Here is our final gift. Fight and win against the Monarch.}

After hearing what Jeren had to say, the gods, in their brief mont of silence, had co up with one last resort.

The fighters felt the pressure fade, allowing them to stand once more.

And instantly, they felt their energy return. Their injuries faded as though they were never there.

A large barrier covered the entire arena.

{Ding!}

{Conditions for the last Scenario have been t!}

{Scenario: God’s Arena}

{The gods were saddened by the decisions they had made.

The gods atoned for their sins.

This is the sacrifice of the gods.

Welco to the God’s Arena.}
