It was a lot to take in.

Oliver silently looked at the dragon, thoughts about everything said up to the point churning in his mind.

As his thoughts raged, the invisible currents surrounding him also beca fierce, throwing him off course. This made his thoughts spiral out even further, exacerbating the situation.

’The dragon rembers everything. It ti-travelled with .’

’Supposedly, ti travel was a miracle.’

’And...my ability, blood manipulation, healing, and revival seem to be a miracle too.’

’Why does it make so much sense?’

Oliver was vexed.

The revelation was a difficult one to process.

’I couldn’t use mana, and yet I could manipulate blood, heal with it and revive. It was a suspiciously good ability.’

’Initially, my ability was just blood storage and simple manipulation.’

’But it later evolved when I...’

Oliver rembered back to the ti when he was depressed and despondent.

After his family’s death, there was a ti he decided to take his own life. And he had gone as far as slitting his veins to do so.

However, instead of following through, he changed his mind at the last minute.

It triggered sothing that made his ability evolve.

The useless power of his sohow evolved and beca sothing entirely different.

That’s the only reason he is alive today.

’When you look at it like that, it was indeed a miracle.’

Looking at the dragon floating next to him, Oliver silently decided to learn more about this thing called Divine Spark and Miracle.

If they could truly change his fate, save him and send him back in ti, it was indeed sothing he should understand.

’Maybe, I can use it as a tool.’

"Dragon, tell more about this Divine Spark and Miracle. Can I use it? Can it be used to perform other miracles? Can I get more of it? Tell all about it."

"Technically, all beings are born with a Divine Spark and thus, can use it to perform one miracle in life. However, the owner of the Divine Spark, for example, the life form generally has no control over when or how they are used."

"Most of the ti, the Divine Spark is used by the lifeform subconsciously to escape from a life-threatening situation."

"Simply put, to cheat death."

"In so other cases, the Divine Spark will be used in resonance with their will when they wish for sothing deeply."

"At least, the universe is fair in this avenue."

"You will at least get one thing you wished for in your life."

The dragon spoke quickly, allowing Oliver to grasp what exactly might have happened in his life.

"I used my Divine Spark to gain ’Limited Immortality’." He muttered slowly. "That is both cheating death and sothing I desperately wanted. It makes sense." He added, rubbing his non-existent chin.

"But, if I used my Divine Spark, why did I travel back in ti. I shouldn’t have had any Divine Spark left in to perform a miracle, right?"

The next question that ca to his mind was purely logical. He wanted to know how the dragon would explain that anomaly.

"Ha ha aha..." The dragon laughed. "I knew you would ask about that, lucky one."

’Resilient creature, Vile creature, and now, lucky one. This bastard is giving a lot of nas.’

Although the dragon was cooperative, it had an unusual characteristic of giving random nas. Now, it was even calling him lucky—sothing he hated to hear.

If he were fortunate, would he be in this situation?

The dragon looked even less like a god as it spouted nonsense.

"...you were truly fortunate. It was not your Divine Spark that sent you back in ti. It was the Divine Spark of the people of your world."

The dragon revealed a shocking truth.

"Why would soone use their chance to gain a miracle on ?" Oliver frowned and wondered aloud.

"Because you were saving them."

"Saving them?"

Oliver didn’t understand what the dragon ant.

"You foolish creature, you have yet to grasp what you have done, right?" The dragon nodded in an understanding manner and continued to speak.

"When you used my power to kill the Demon King, the entire world was watching everything you were doing."

"So what?"

"He he he..." The dragon smirked. "That’s when they wished desperately." The dragon approached Oliver. "As a godly being that governs the law of justice, I could hear them."

It went right up to Oliver’s face and asked.

"Do you want to know what they wished for?"

Oliver hesitated a little, but nodded after a while.

He couldn’t run away from it.

Seeing him nod, the dragon opened its giant golden mouth and showed its teeth, before speaking.

"They desperately wished for you to kill the demon king. At the sa ti, they wished you were never a villain. They wanted you to be a hero who could save the world."

The dragon paused for a while.

"And look where it had brought you. You even decided to be a hero, didn’t you?" It said and waited for Oliver to digest the information.

It took a while for Oliver to digest everything he had heard.

Then he abruptly raised his head with a hint of fury and asked.

"Just because of that?"

His eyes contained unhidden anger.

He didn’t like to learn that soone else had control over his life. If everything Dragon said is true, wouldn’t a bunch of life forms wishing him to die seal his fate?

How can he live in a world like that, knowing he was bound by what others thought and felt? The source of his anger was this thought that he might be controlled again.

The dragon noticed Oliver’s thought and quickly corrected.

"No, not just because of that. You used my power to kill a Demon King, a being that could rule an entire planet. Through that, you stole the Demon King’s divine spark and made a wish of your own."

"You also wished to return to this ti."

"Everything aligned so perfectly as the Divine Spark were consud. That’s why you travelled back in ti to this tiline. It was a miracle that even I couldn’t perform at my peak."

The dragon clarified.

Still, Oliver’s heart was unsettled. He liked the fact that he ca back on ti. However, the information about how Divine Spark worked and how miracles can even change a person’s fate made him concerned.

’Fate, fortune, and everything related, that I once thought as nothing more than imagination, seem to be real.’

’FUCK!’

Oliver cursed silently.

Then, he turned his head and glared at the golden dragon.

"Care to explain how I stole the Divine Spark from the Demon King?"

If the Divine Spark can make him do sothing he didn’t want, the only way to resist the power might be by having more Divine Spark. Oliver quickly deduced this and asked the Dragon.

The dragon saw the desire burning in Oliver’s eyes and felt its heart tighten.

For so reason, he felt a cold chill crawl up its elongated spine. The tip of its whiskers and tail trembled ever so slightly in response.

Was it feeling fear?

The Dragon wondered.

’What have I done?’ He thought, looking at Oliver.

After all, it had seen how Oliver solves his problems. If it stands between this vile creature and his goal, he didn’t know what might happen to him.

*Gulp*

Swallowing hard, the dragon began to explain.
