"Oceanus, it's been a long ti."

Seeing the beast's eyes clear up, Charlotte spoke with a tone of nostalgia and complexity.

Oceanus, sowhat pensive, looked at her. The Ocean God's gaze seed to be focused on her, yet it seed as if he was seeing sothing else entirely.

Shock, complexity, confusion, sudden realization, joy, lancholy... various emotions flashed through his enormous pupils one after another.

He let out a soft sigh, hoarse and weak, and said:

"It's been... a long ti. Your appearance... has changed quite a bit. It seems, you've ultimately embarked on this path..."

Oceanus's deanor and tone were far more weathered than those in Charlotte's mory.

Two thousand years is an overwhelmingly long ti. For Charlotte, who crossed through history, it was but a few short months, but for this ancient deity, it was a vast era.

Even though the immortal trait granted mythical beings the ability to live long and watch eternally, the passage of ti nonetheless leaves its marks of wear on the divine soul.

Charlotte could hear the heavy fatigue and a trace of unfamiliarity beneath Oceanus's words. Ten years is enough to estrange old friends amongst mortals; how much more two thousand years.

And even if considering Charlotte's potential future crossings, the "True Ancestor" has already vanished for a millennium, a span long enough to obliterate many things.

Yet, from the depths of Oceanus's eyes, Charlotte still saw the familiar, rugged warmth and trust.

Evidently, the Ocean God had not forgotten her, whether in mory or in sentint.

Although the passage of ti is enough to erode much, the friendship between deities remains.

Like a cup of aged wine, it becos more fragrant over ti.

In Charlotte's heart, there were indeed many things she wanted to ask.

What exactly has happened over these years?

How did things beco as they are now?

Why did Artemis go to the West Continent for a sealing?

But when the words reached her lips, in the end, only one question remained:

"How are you... feeling now?"

"Not bad, thanks to your primordial power. At least I'm not dying now and can still chat with my old friend, which is nice."

Oceanus laughed heartily.

He seed quite familiar with the power Charlotte now possessed, and he wasn't repulsed at all by the whiteness representing the primordial at her fingertips, entirely unlike her mory of him being discolored when discussing Creation and the Primordial.

But Charlotte could still hear the restrained trembling from him.

It wasn't fear, but pain, or rather, the forceful endurance of so kind of pain.

Unlike the apparent purification, beneath his massive body, two primordial forces were still combating each other like a brutal battlefield.

On one side was the Fallen Primordial Power polluting Oceanus.

And on the other side was the pure primordial power transford by Charlotte with the Blood Holy Scripture, rging blood divine power and holy power.

"The pollution inside you is not yet removed. First, clear your mind. I need to continue increasing the input of divine power..."

Charlotte said.

Upon finishing her words, she blossod divine power, increasing the transportation of primordial power once more.

But in the next mont, she was stopped by Oceanus's reaching tentacle.

"Oceanus?"

Charlotte frowned slightly, a bad premonition arising in her heart.

Oceanus smiled lightly and said:

"Lilith... no, I should say... Charlotte."

"Primordial power is too precious. Ahead lies an even more brutal battlefield awaiting you, the will of creation is about to resurge, the more power, the more the odds of success, so... do not waste this power on my already fallen mythical body."

Directly called out, Charlotte paused for a mont, but she quickly shook her head:

"Oceanus, you are a True God and also my friend, perhaps even the only remaining True God besides . Even if I am to contend with the awakening will of creation, you will be indispensable as an aid!"

Having said that, she didn't wait for Oceanus to respond and continued increasing the export of divine power.

The pure white primordial power spread, and the pollution within Oceanus was rapidly dispelled.

However, before Charlotte could breathe a sigh of relief, she sensed the unending resurgence of primordial pollution within Oceanus.

Charlotte's action faltered.

She couldn't understand why the pollution still surged when she had already used the Divine Artifact to sever Oceanus's connection with the outside world. But upon further probing, she astonishingly discovered that the source of the primordial pollution was actually Oceanus himself!

His divine soul, his divine position, his divine body, all were gradually falling from within, like water in a desert evaporating under the scorching sun, at most only delaying its evaporation.

"It seems... you have already discovered that this is not rely a simple erosion."

Seeing Charlotte's suddenly stiffened appearance, Oceanus sighed.

Having said this, he shook his head:

"Aid? No, I, or rather we... can only ever beco a burden for you..."

As he spoke, he smiled a little forlornly and bitterly, his weak voice tinged with unwillingness and self-mockery:

"Our power all cos from Him, and He can take it back whenever He wants... not to ntion, I had already been marked by Him during that catastrophe that destroyed the West Continent..."

"Myth? It's just a joke."

"We see believers as our flock, but in His eyes, we, and this world, are just His flock."

"A re breath of His aura can destroy a continent, and a glance from His half-awake eyes can turn the noble Sun God into a puppet..."

"Lilith, the entire world is nothing but His garden. Our fate was destined from the start. The fact that I've lasted until now is a miracle in its own right."

As he said this, Oceanus's breathing beca heavy, and he looked at Charlotte, with the last light seemingly burning in his murky eyes:

"But you are different!"

"Only you! Only you, Lilith! Only you, Charlotte! Only you can break everything! You can overturn everything!"

"Even He, who created everything, cannot control external variables. Even He cannot taint an Outer Heaven God!"

"Keep this precious Primordial Power! And then... take with you the will of us Mireya Gods to defeat Him, to conquer Him!"

"Only then can this endless cycle be ended! Only then can Mireya continue to exist!"

Oceanus gritted his teeth, with a towering rage burning in his murky pupils, as if he wished to tear the heavens and earth apart.

But as he roared, he began to tremble violently once more, as wisps of black mist rapidly spread over him, and the suppressed pollution began to accelerate once again.

Feeling the increasingly chaotic aura of Oceanus, Charlotte's expression shifted slightly.

Yet Oceanus suddenly regained his composure.

He gently closed his eyes, then slowly opened them again, his ferocious features full of human-like determination:

"Lilith, He... is about to notice this place."

"Kill , use my trident to kill ! Before I beco another Helios, quickly kill !"

"Kill , and then devour the power and law in my Divine Position!"

"The sea of Mireya was not created by Him. The power of the ocean is already the weakest link in His grasp... Devour my power, and you will have a more perfect law than you do now, and a greater chance of victory!"

"This... is the last gift I can give you!"

Charlotte's hands trembled, and her vision blurred slightly:

"Oceanus... you..."

The thunder in the sky grew more intense, and the heavy clouds rolled continuously, as though sothing terrifying was brewing within them.

"Quickly! Before He fully notices my awakening! Before His power completely corrupts my Ocean Authority! Hurry!"

Roared Oceanus.

Seeing Oceanus's agitated expression, and feeling the deep aura awakening within him, Charlotte bit her lip, finally summoning the golden Sea King Trident.

Two streaks of tears slid down her cheeks, as the scenes of those years crossing with Oceanus, sharing drinks and discussions, flashed through her mind. Her expression turned from sorrow to determination, then from determination to resolve.

Her eyes turned red, and brilliant Divine Power gathered around her once more, the radiance empowering the Sea King Trident, as it pierced toward Oceanus's heart...

Oceanus smiled.

The brilliant radiance pierced through the giant beast's heart, and at that mont... the entire ocean seed to fall silent.

Oceanus gazed sowhat trance-like at the girl before him.

In a haze, He seed to see that beautiful figure once more.

He seed to return to that bright evening, to that golden beach.

The cool sea breeze lightly brushed over him, and the soft grains of sand shimred with a faint golden hue in the afterglow.

The sprightly Elf girl, accompanied by her elder brother, hopped and skipped along the beach, each of her footprints recording a shallow imprint, which was then gently smoothed over by the tides, as if ti had beco slow and gentle here.

The girl stopped at the shore and picked up the injured, stranded little octopus on the beach.

Looking at the little octopus's timid dark eyes, the girl's moonlight-like eyes were filled with concern:

"Brother Helios, it seems to be injured. Let's take it back to the village for healing!"

Her pale, warm palm cradled the octopus, and her voice, as lodious as a bird, was like heavenly music:

"Little one, don't be afraid, we'll heal your wounds and return you to the sea!"

Oceanus felt as if he was once again embraced by that warm hug.

The world gradually faded, leaving only a rough and distant sigh in Charlotte's ear:

"If... in the future you rember , or if one day you think of ..."

"Please bury a seashell on that golden beach of the West Continent."

The massive body shattered into fragnts under the golden light, scattering with the sea breeze into the ocean.

Sizzling droplets fell from the sky, quickly turning into a downpour.

It began to rain.
