"True Ancestor,"
Dark mist converged, and the figure of Dark Apostle Albrecht slowly erged.
He bowed slightly, his right hand placed on his chest, respectfully saluting Charlotte.
Having changed into her noble dress, Charlotte sat in an armchair.
She elegantly stretched out her hand and took a crystal cup handed over by the obsequiously fawning Black Cat Nisi, sipped her specially made sweet milk tea, and then nodded slightly,
"Rise. Albrecht, have you found out who the traitor in the higher ranks of the Parliantary Party is?"
Albrecht glanced at Black Cat Nisi unconsciously.
Seeing that Charlotte had no intention of letting it leave, he nodded, his hand flashed, and a luxurious parchnt appeared.
"I have found out. The person's identity is sowhat unexpected, I think... perhaps even you wouldn't have guessed who leaked Count Stafford's secret travel plans."
Saying so, he respectfully presented the parchnt.
Hearing Albrecht say this, Charlotte slightly raised her eyebrows and imdiately thought of the few top officials of Falling Star she had t.
She took the parchnt without changing her expression, scanned it, and soon her expression turned into surprise:
"Campbell Grand Priest? It was him?"
Albrecht nodded:
"Yes, last night, Count Stafford, Marquis Howard, and Count Greenville Roman were all unremarkable, but Campbell Grand Priest took a carriage at night and secretly visited the headquarters of Kingdom Knight Order."
"I didn't startle the snake; taking the opportunity of Campbell Grand Priest's absence, I sneaked into his study and found so docunts."
Saying this, Albrecht's hand shone again, revealing a stack of bound docunts:
"These are the records copied using magic, please review them."
Charlotte looked at him in surprise and took the docunts.
It must be said, Albrecht's efficiency was truly beyond her expectations; in less than a day, he had achieved such significant results.
Although it was sowhat overkill and unfair for soone legendary like him to personally investigate these matters, Charlotte admitted to herself that even if she had done it personally, it would have been hard to be more efficient than him.
Being able to survive in the Blood Demon Church for over a thousand years and beco the third Apostle, Albrecht did have so skills. It was just too bad that he had been outwitted by Charlotte in Lutecia, otherwise, he might still be enjoying himself in so dark corner right now.
Charlotte opened the docunts and continued to browse. Soon, her expression changed to surprise again.
Seeing her expression change, Albrecht respectfully said:
"These docunts indicate that Campbell Grand Priest... or more accurately, the Holy Royal Court's branch in Falling Star Kingdom, had started collaborating with the Nais Clan quite early."
"The travel plans of Count Stafford were leaked by Campbell Grand Priest."
"However, it was only so mbers of the Nais Clan who collaborated with Campbell Grand Priest. In so of his letters, there's even content about plotting to overthrow the current Elder Council of the Nais Clan."
"The Nais Clan is not united internally, which may have been discovered and exploited by the Holy Royal Court; however... limited by ti, I couldn't find much information and couldn't understand why Campbell Grand Priest would participate in an attack on you."
"After all, he is the chief priest of the Holy Royal Court, and you... officially, are indeed recognized as the 'Saintess' by the Holy Royal Court."
"Even if he collaborated with so mbers of the Nais Clan to weaken them, theoretically, he shouldn't have made a move on you."
"I've considered whether this is because the Holy Royal Court's branch in Falling Star Kingdom has slipped from the control of the Church Authority Country, and deviated from the faith of the Divine Lord, hence Campbell Grand Priest would participate in an attack on you."
"But so docunts show that the Holy Royal Court's Falling Star branch is still maintaining communication with the Church Authority Country, and even their cooperation with so mbers of the Nais Clan has been reported in their correspondence with the Church Authority Country; they are still under the command of the central Holy Royal Court."
"So... I speculate that perhaps the Church Authority Country also doesn't like your 'Wild Saintess' status and intends to use the Bloodline's hand to 'remove' you."
Having heard Albrecht's analysis, Charlotte was not surprised.
The Church Authority Country indeed didn't favor her "Saintess" role; based on her understanding of the Holy Royal Court, if the Church Authority Country indeed valued her, they would have summoned her to the Royal Court central long ago when her reputation erged.
This was quite normal, not to ntion whether her Saintess status was true or not, according to the system of the Holy Royal Court, recognizing her as the Saintess would increase the power of New Moon Diocese, and the Church Authority Country certainly did not want the power of each semi-independent diocese to continue to inflate.
Of course, Charlotte didn't really want to be any kind of Saintess either.
As for the Bloodline cooperating with the Church Authority Country...
Charlotte looked at a specific na on the docunts, slightly raising her eyebrows:
"Alek Coldice Nais?"
"He is one of the mbers of the Elder Council of the Nais Clan, belonging一to the Moon God Island branch of the Nais Clan, I suspect... the mbers of the Nais Clan collaborating with the Church Authority Country are likely from the Moon God Island branch."
