"Is this... the Holy Emblem of my Lord?"

As Astrid glimpsed the thorny rose slowly erging in her consciousness, her heart fluttered, and she murmured subconsciously.

The brilliance of the thorny rose twinkled.

It was a dazzling crimson, resembling beautiful blood.

Looking at that familiar yet unfamiliar symbol, Astrid felt as though her heart had stopped beating at that mont.

Until that ethereal and dazzling crimson... filled the whole world.

It was hard to describe the intense emotion that surged in the girl's heart.

Thump...

Thump...

She heard her own heartbeat.

She felt her heart, resonating in so blood-connected way with that mysterious and beautiful emblem.

Almost subconsciously, Astrid reached out towards the illusory thorny rose.

Then she couldn't help but whisper,

"Great Savior..."

"Is it really... you?"

Her trembling fingertips gently lifted.

Astrid saw herself "touch" the ethereal Holy Emblem.

The next mont, the interweaving Holy Emblem of the thorny rose burst into a dazzling light, and the stunning crimson light imdiately engulfed everything.

Astrid felt a mysterious pull descending, and the whole world rapidly receded.

She felt a strong call.

In that call, she felt herself rising higher and higher...

She saw the bewildered youths around her.

She saw the astonished Marquis Vladimir.

She saw the smiling Castel Envoy, she saw the Elf Envoy lift his head, et her gaze, and then smile warmly.

She saw Winter Castle, she saw the dense Great Northern Forest, she saw the North Sea Grand Canyon to the northwest, she saw the endless Northern Territory Grand Prairie...

She saw the starry sky, she saw the stars twinkling with gorgeous crimson brilliance, devouring the entire world.

The crimson mist spread, and Astrid seemingly saw a majestic and solemn ancient castle in the haze.

She saw the mysterious and magnificent murals in the castle, and she saw the steps that continued to rise upward.

She saw the majestic and ancient Blood Throne atop the stairs, and upon the throne... that mysterious figure shrouded in brilliance.

That mysterious figure, sensing her arrival, slowly opened a pair of golden-red eyes and looked at her.

And the mont Astrid made eye contact, the entire world fell into eternity.

She heard a long sigh, within which was complexity, reflection, and an indescribable torrent of emotions:

"So it is indeed... you..."

"Yes... after all, this world is protected by God, and the decisions I once made... were not correct."

"I'm sorry you've had to fight on your own for so long."

That mysterious voice, with its incredible power, resonated within Astrid's heart.

The mont she heard that voice, Astrid felt her blood boil instantaneously.

She felt her transcendent powers rejoice; she felt her transcendent blood stir.

She experienced an ineffable familiarity; she felt as if she were once again in the embrace of her late mother.

She saw the figure on the throne gently rise and co before her.

It was an incredibly beautiful deity.

Adorned in a mysterious and magnificent black divine robe decorated with the Holy Emblem of the thorny rose, possessing a cascade of glorious silver hair and golden-red eyes as deep as the starry sky, the silver hair, and golden-red eyes slowly matched the nearly lost records of the Alliance...

Astrid's eyes widened, her voice filled with excitent:

"My Lord... you... are you my Lord?!"

The deity smiled.

That captivating smile brightened the entire world.

Astrid saw the deity reach out to her.

That ethereal hand of God rested on her head, as warm as a mother's embrace.

"Descendant of the Free City State Alliance..."

"Thank you for maintaining your faith until now."

"As a reward, accept this power of faith."

Crimson brilliance spread.

Astrid saw specks of gold and red brilliance rise, converging towards her from all directions.

The next mont, she felt an unprecedented powerful force surging from deep within her blood.

"Go, continue your battle."

The deity spoke softly.

The crimson mist spread rapidly, and Astrid felt a mysterious force pulling on her again.

The whole world rapidly receded, and her consciousness plunged...

On the streets of Winter Castle, on the temporarily designated Honor Challenge Field.

Watching Astrid, shimring in red light yet motionless, the youths of the Northern Territory exchanged glances.

"What's wrong with her?"

"Could she have been frightened by Lord Gunnar's power, causing her transcendent power to run wild?"

"No, no, no... Maybe her secret technique failed, and she's lost her senses?"

"Ha-ha, that would be ridiculous!"

"I knew it; those wastes from the Free Tribe Alliance are no match for Lord Gunnar!"

The Northern Territory youths chattered, their gaze towards the girl filled with strangeness and mockery.

At the side of the fur-lined alley, the youths of the Free Tribe Alliance stared back angrily at the mocking youths.

"Astrid..."

They looked worriedly at the girl in the challenge field.

Watching the motionless Astrid, Gunnar squinted his eyes and then scoffed:

"Hmph, Astrid, if you think this kind of act will make go easy, you are sorely mistaken."

Saying this, his expression turned ferocious, and with a victor's sinister grin, he charged at the girl again:

"You lose! Surrender and beco my slave!"

A pale blue glow emanated, Gunnar clenched his fists, summoning the power of his totem, and smashed towards the girl's shoulder.

However, just as he was about to strike, a fair right hand suddenly lifted, catching his totem-powered fist under Gunnar's astonished gaze.

Astrid slowly lifted her head.

Her eyes, previously pale blue, had turned completely crimson, as if possessing so soul-capturing power.

She spoke softly, with unprecedented calm:

"No, Gunnar."

"It is you who have lost."

As soon as her words fell, a robust aura burst forth from her.

The crimson light spread rapidly, bursting from Astrid's body and quickly forming a red beam of light centering on the girl... shooting skyward!

Turbulent magic power surged like heatwaves all around, blowing the surrounding spectators into disarray.

Marquis Vladimir was astonished.

He bore the brunt of this furious elental power, looking up at the crimson pillar breaking through the clouds, his expression filled with disbelief:

"This... is this... the power of the Divine Favored?"

"Has she beco... a Divine Favored?"
