She smiled and said,
"You are... called Roman, aren't you?"
"You're correct, I am indeed searching for the Faceless Divine Statue, planning to absorb the Blood Divine Power to enhance my own strength and awaken your true purpose, which is exactly so."
With his worries relieved, Roman Sword was suddenly astonished,
"You... no... you know what I think?!"
Charlotte looked at it oddly,
"Didn't you already know this is Dark Night Ancient Castle?"
Does Dark Night Ancient Castle also have this power?
To pry into the Spirit of souls?
Is this the only God in history that wanted to surpass "Gods" ntioned in inherited mories...
Feeling more reverent and trembling, Roman Sword said,
"So it is true, your knowledge of Dark Night Ancient is rely from inherited mories... Well, let's see, it's almost ti. Half-Elf Romannus lived a thousand years ago, even if you appeared at that ti, it must have been after the Blood Moon Era."
Listening to Roman Sword's thoughts, Charlotte muttered to herself.
Roman Sword was almost numb.
This was truly a terrifying experience; in the presence of this legendary terrifying being, it couldn't hide its thoughts!
"Blood... Bloodline Ancestor, great Eternal Night and Dark King, you... you summoned here, are you planning to destroy to reclaim the Blood Divine Power and God Building Law?"
"God Building Law?"
Charlotte's interest was piqued.
She knew what reclaiming the Blood Divine Power ant; Divine Artifacts are nad such for they are imbued with Divine Power, powered by it.
So was Roman Sword. At the ceremony site, she hadn't felt it deeply, but now that she had brought it into Dark Night Ancient Castle, she could distinctly feel the considerable Blood Divine Power within it.
However, most of the Blood Divine Power in it served as the "base" of its "existence," and the actual "power" that could be released was very limited.
But what about the God Building Law?
Charlotte was curious.
This was the first ti she had heard of the term, and she wanted to ask about it, but felt that asking so directly might not align with the role she was "playing" at the mont.
Although she could explain using the "mories" that hadn't yet recovered after her resurrection, in front of Albrecht who seed respectful but could seize any opposition opportunity, and Roman Sword which was still frantically pondering ways to escape, she didn't want to appear "weak."
"Is it not so? You... you aren't here to reclaim the God Building Law to restore strength and seek further breakthroughs to beco an existence like the Creator God?"
Roman Sword cautiously asked.
anwhile, its leaky inner thoughts automatically provided an explanation about "God Building Law."
Apparently, although it seed to have repaired its damaged Spirit with her blood, the repair was limited.
At least, in shielding its true thoughts, it was far inferior to Yulster.
'So, the God Building Law is the Power of Laws stored within the Faceless Divine Statue.'
'The Power of Laws is the key to igniting a Divine Position, the foundation of a Divine Position, and the real source of a God's power...'
Listening to Roman Sword's thoughts, Charlotte pondered.
This ant that when she had rged with the Faceless Divine Statue and ignited the Divine Fire, the real reason must have been that she had rged with the God Building Law and then ignited the Divine Fire!
Faceless Divine Statue... actually related to Divine Enthronent!
Indeed, these secrets of Gods should be asked from Mythical sources; though Roman Sword isn't a real Mythical, but as a Mythical-level Divine Artifact, in a sense, it knows as much as Mythical ones!
Charlotte was quite pleased with the various pieces of information inadvertently revealed by Roman Sword's inner thoughts.
However, during Charlotte's contemplation, Roman Sword was struggling imnsely.
Watching the "silent" Blood True Ancestor, it beca increasingly nervous, increasingly afraid.
It wondered if it had inadvertently said sothing wrong, upsetting the terrifying being before it.
It couldn't help but indulge in wild thoughts, and correspondingly, Charlotte heard its mind-voice replaced by various imagined scenarios.
Imagining smashing its Artifact Spirit and completely reclaiming its power; imagining pulling out its Artifact Spirit to torture it, satisfying one's own cruel hobbies; imagining putting its Artifact Spirit into a puppet for endless whipping and punishing... Charlotte couldn't listen anymore.
It was unclear whose mories of the Divine Artifact Inheritance were, and who had shaped the Artifact Spirit, as the imaginings were plentiful.
Charlotte didn't want to listen anymore, seeing the even more terrified deanor of the Roman Sword than Nisi's and Yulster's before, so she chuckled lightly and spoke again,
"I am indeed interested in the power within you, but... whether to reclaim the God's power also depends on the specific circumstances."
"After all, there are more than one Ancient Hall and Faceless Divine Statue scattered around the world, but a Divine Artifact with an Artifact Spirit, this is my first real encounter."
Upon hearing Charlotte's words, the blade of the Roman Sword suddenly brightened.
A tender voice carefully rose up, carrying a hint of trepidation and a strange excitent,
"Do you... do you an to say, you are not planning to destroy , but intend to spare ?"
Charlotte smiled,
"As I said, it depends on the specific circumstances, more precisely, on your choice."
The Roman Sword wasn't that foolish, it understood Charlotte's implication.
As if fearful that Charlotte might regret, it quickly exclaid,
"I... I am willing! Great Eternal Night King! The embodint of Blood Moon and Dark! Supre True Ancestor! The Roman Sword wishes to submit to you, to beco your power!"
Having said that, the blade of the Roman Sword once again emitted a faint light, a vague yet intricate mark that slowly erged atop it, looking sowhat like a lilac flower.
That was the physical manifestation of the Artifact Spirit's True Spirit Mark.
And showing its own True Spirit Mark was an indication of the Holy Artifact's willingness to submit.
The sa was true for a Divine Artifact with an Artifact Spirit.
As for why the True Spirit Mark of the Roman Sword took the form of a lilac flower, that naturally was because its original owner had been the Half-Elf Romannus.
The lilac flower was Romannus's mark, and it was also the crest of the Roman family.
Watching the Artifact Spirit displaying its True Spirit Mark, Charlotte slightly smiled.
Though the process was sowhat convoluted, in the end, the Roman Sword had chosen to submit to her.
Of course, she had anticipated this.
After all, the power of the Roman Sword was originally linked to her, and as soone increasingly approaching the origin of the "Bloodline," the Roman Sword was utterly incapable of opposing her.
Charlotte leaned forward slightly and gently touched it.
The Blood Divine Power spread, and in the next mont, the mark on the blade of the Roman Sword suddenly changed, quickly transforming from a lilac flower into a thorny rose symbol.
Simultaneously, Charlotte felt sothing subtly added to her own Spirit world.
The experience for the Roman Sword was even more profound.
It felt an irresistibly powerful will descending upon its soul, easily overshadowing the contract it had with Romannus and the Roman family.
Its True Spirit was drawn out, swiftly establishing a certain connection with that awe-inspiring will.
Its form gradually faded and ultimately disappeared.
Deep within Charlotte's Spirit world, a silver radiance slowly converged, transforming into an exquisite Elf-style one-handed great sword, precisely the form of the Roman Sword.
Feeling the gradually stabilizing contract, the Roman Sword breathed a sigh of relief.
Having established a contract with the Blood True Ancestor, it had beco the Divine Artifact of the Blood True Ancestor, with no need to worry about being destroyed by the Blood True Ancestor.
At least... not for now, as long as it could demonstrate sufficient value.
However, just when the Roman Sword had relaxed, it suddenly tensed up.
It saw the incredibly dazzling radiance beside it.
That was... the glow of the Blood Holy Scripture...
