-130- Suppression of bloodline?

What... What’s going on?

Watching the Fla Demon Vararoka turn tail and run, Charlotte was montarily stunned.

However, she quickly ca to her senses,

The other party must have recognized her identity, just like in the dream world!

No...

More accurately, it had recognized the power she possessed after her True Ancestor Liberation!

It mistook her for the Blood True Ancestor!

The Fla Demon Vararoka retreated quickly.

It was in a hurry, scared, Charlotte could even feel its inner urgency and regret, panic and fear.

Actually, thinking about it, it was understandable.

As a Legendary Demon that had finally broken its seal and entered the present world, ready to unleash its Divine Power, suddenly coming face to face with a descending Mythical being would certainly startle anyone.

Not to ntion, Charlotte had made no attempt to hide her hostility.

Divine Power surged, threateningly...

And as a Legendary, especially one that had been locked away for ten years and had its strength sowhat compromised, Fla Demon Vararoka clearly hadn’t realized Charlotte’s true condition.

Her True Ancestor Liberation might have seed terrifying, but it had a ti limit and her power hadn’t reached that of a true Myth, to the level of deities, it was more like a shell without substance.

Vararoka... was scared off!

Charlotte’s gaze held a trace of eeriness.

While putting herself in its shoes, she could very well understand the fright that the demon Vararoka had felt choosing to flee, but its expression of terror and fear still struck her as odd...

Was the identity of the Blood True Ancestor that frightening?

Of course, Charlotte wasn’t about to let it escape just like that.

Fleeing and exposing one’s back to the enemy was extrely dangerous.

Obviously, Vararoka was terrified by Charlotte’s "identity" and in its eagerness to escape, it had even forgotten to defend itself and instead desperately attempted a hasty retreat...

And this gave Charlotte the chance to strike!

Strike while they’re down, go for the kill, Charlotte didn’t hesitate. She invoked all of the remaining Blood Divine Power, shaped her finger into a sword and slashed toward Fla Demon Vararoka!

Crimson gold Divine Power erupted from Charlotte’s fingertips, transforming with her will into an indistinct Divine Sword, directly chopping into the demon’s back.

Fla Demon Vararoka let out a pained wail, its back opened with a bone-deep gash, and the gold-red Divine Power turned into boiling flas, suddenly igniting within the wound...

And at the sa ti, Charlotte was astonished to discover that with the burning of the Divine Power, her True Ancestor Liberation ti actually began to recover!

The breath of Fla Demon Vararoka almost instantly withered.

What... What’s this situation now?

Charlotte was utterly astounded.

She hadn’t been actively absorbing the opponent’s power as if through Blood Sucking.

But as her Blood Divine Power attacked the foe, she naturally started to "suck blood", replenishing the continuously depleting Blood Divine Power within her.

Not only that, her Blood Divine Power wasn’t replenished from the outside.

It naturally welled up from within her, from the depths of her consciousness.

It seed there was so deeper connection with Fla Demon Vararoka, as if originating from the depths of bloodline...

This connection, derived from bloodline, granted her a superior force that allowed her to seize the other’s power out of thin air during her attack!

Suppression...

This was a blatant bloodline suppression!

Vararoka was a Favored of the Blood Demon Duke, possessing the sa bloodline powers, and her magical abilities likely stemd from the bloodline!

With such magical power, let alone half the ti left for True Ancestor Liberation, even if only a few seconds remained, Charlotte could grow stronger with every strike, eventually wearing down Fla Demon Vararoka to death...

It was clear that Vararoka probably knew about her power, which was why she fled so quickly!

Charlotte quickly gained confidence.

She stimulated her Divine Power once more, and the Divine Sword’s brilliance on Vararoka’s back beca even more dazzling.

Under the burning of the reddish-gold flas, Vararoka let out a miserable howl.

anwhile, Charlotte felt a continuous surge of new strength welling up from the depths of her bloodline under the True Ancestor Liberation state.

That blood-sucking-like intoxication and pleasure ca back, almost making her want to groan out loud.

The emotions coming from Fla Demon Vararoka turned even more frantic.

It let out a furious roar and suddenly pulled out a Demon Blade, wrapping its thick tail around it, and forcibly chopped off the half of its body that was ablaze with the reddish-gold flas.

That half of the body was precisely the part that Charlotte had been striking, including the left arm and half of the upper body.

The black and red Demon blood spilled, and Vararoka’s presence grew even more feeble; however, it finally managed to escape into a different space...

Charlotte was about to pursue, but seeing the half body still burning and plumting towards Bold City below, she hesitated.

A Demon’s body carries the power of Pollution and Fallen.

Ten years ago, rely half of Fla Demon Vararoka’s power descended and destroyed half of Bold City’s districts, leaving behind Pollution that hadn’t been fully Purified even after several years.

If this half of its body were to crash into the ground this ti, it could bring an even more terrible catastrophe to Bold City!

Taking a deep look at Fla Demon Vararoka’s escape into a different space, Charlotte stopped pursuing and instead burned the chopped-off body with Divine Fire.

No, more strictly speaking, it wasn’t burnt but absorbed.

Under the searing of the reddish-gold flas, the half Demon form quickly withered, collapsed, and eventually turned to ash...

Simultaneously, Charlotte sensed a substantial surge of Blood Divine Power in the depths of her bloodline, extending the True Ancestor Liberation ti by a few more seconds.

When she looked once more towards Fla Demon Vararoka, it had successfully fled back into the different space and completely sealed the space gate...

Dimly, Charlotte sensed emotions of fear, relief, and palpitations from the connection with it.

However, this last thread of connection was quickly severed by it.

Charlotte sighed slightly, knowing that Fla Demon Vararoka had realized who had attacked its consciousness and had severed the link decisively.

It was a pity she couldn’t kill Vararoka, but... even though it was not dead, Charlotte knew it had suffered unprecedented heavy damage.

After the battle, Charlotte’s True Ancestor Liberation replenishnt ca at a cost, reducing the overall ti, with only about twenty seconds remaining.

Still a loss.

Yet, Charlotte did not regret it.

Without using True Ancestor Liberation, she would never really know the extent of power she held in her trump card.

Within the crimson glow, Charlotte descended to the ground, tenderly retracted her Divine Power, and swiftly ended True Ancestor Liberation.

Her figure shrank back down to that of a young girl, and the black divine dress morphed back into the black robe of the Blood Demon Church.

The night sky over Bold City was peaceful once again.

Only in the abandoned district, several houses continued to burn, affected by the flas of the Fla Demon.

The startled residents and Transcendents still stared blankly into the night sky.

As if that awe-inspiring and shocking scene was nothing but an illusion.

And within the Drunk Dream Saloon estate, the Great Priest trembled uncontrollably.

He knew that after tonight, the matter of an Evil God descending upon Bold City... could no longer be concealed.
