Li Chengyi was once far stronger in Consciousness Power than in the flesh, whether it was the Primordial Spirit Sword Palace or the later shattering into a world of ntal imagery, it was all about the strengthening of consciousness.

But now, due to Eternal Vitality, his physical body had co to far surpass his consciousness, and at this very mont, it continued to strengthen at a frenzied pace.

Achieving the Saint Position didn’t an the strengthening would stop.

Among the Tian Ju Pavilion Disciples originally implicated in the catastrophe, so were Saints, but they were still utterly annihilated.

Li Chengyi now was like a ticking ti bomb, and even with a Saint’s physique, he could only resist for a short period.

Luckily, he was a native Saint far stronger than Yalong, so the robustness and recovery speed of his Holy Body once again significantly increased.

’At least for a short while, I can be a bit more at ease....’

Feeling the swelling pain from the internal pressure being suppressed, Li Chengyi’s thoughts moved, and instantly a sub-body, ford by consciousness and his own blood and flesh, grew from the Earth’s crust, taking shape, and in the blink of an eye, it pushed through the ground, pierced through the seabed, and returned to the surface.

At this ti, his Consciousness Power, even with the augntation of a Saint rging with the Dao, could not reach the surface, could not perceive everything.

Therefore, he needed to use the sub-body as a sensor to transmit information.

Nearby the sea of the Kingdom of Gus.

Pfft!

Suddenly, the form of a Squirrel Person slowly erged from the water, its dark red fur, two ters in height, Li Chengyi had now reverted to his original appearance.

He didn’t revert to human form, but continued maintaining the appearance of Squirrel Xiao Hui, as many in this world didn’t recognize his original body.

In the dark blue sea, he floated alone on the surface, surrounded by dead fish, belly-up and of various sizes.

The sky was a blanket of grey, as if dusk, but it was clearly supposed to be noon.

"This world is now my root world; it shouldn’t be like this..."

Li Chengyi sighed in his heart; he had forced the world to rge into him to gain the origin of becoming a Saint, which was a necessary step.

Yet the nurous lives that had died or been injured because of his rging with the Dao were not his intention.

’It seems there’s only one way.’

With a leap, he raced across the waves at high speed toward a distant location.

It wasn’t long before he arrived back in the area where he and Yalong had fought furiously.

The once barren wasteland had now turned into giant pits of molten lava.

Pungent and scorching air continuously spread in all directions.

Li Chengyi searched hastily for people he recognized.

And eventually.

He found Canglu and Hong Lian, Kui and the Martial Artists like Fang Hongyu, in a blackened forest, hiding inside a cave, seriously injured.

The re aftermath of the combat between Li Chengyi and Yalong was already unbearable for them.

At the entrance of the cave.

Li Chengyi stepped inside, and the sound of his footsteps imdiately alerted the guarding Hong Lian.

"Who’s there!?" Hong Lian shouted fiercely, his robust body suddenly rising to his feet.

The people resting inside the cave all beca alert, although they could not see, many still had their hearing.

"It’s ." Li Chengyi looked at the bloodied Kui, and the Canglu who lost a leg, feeling a pang of sorrow in his heart.

They were still valiant Martial Artists, yet they faced such a fate; others, common people, might....

"Squirrel Grey!?" Kui stood up hastily, his expression one of excitent.

"I’m sorry." Li Chengyi sighed, "It was my mistake to not consider the safety of the weak."

He stepped further into the cave.

"Your lives are like candles flickering in the wind, fragile to the touch. Now, I may have so understanding of your thoughts, Tai Suqing."

He turned his gaze and looked at a tall woman with long hair standing by the wall in the corner.

That woman was none other than Tai Suqing, who had now lost the favor of the virus.

Her appearance was wan, her beauty still cold, but her spirited deanor was nowhere near what it once was.

And she, out of everyone present, was the only one with an unhard body.

"Squirrel Grey... You’ve co to understand my will too? All this, it shouldn’t have happened like this..." She trembled, one hand supporting herself against the wall, "What you’re like now... do you intend to destroy the entire world?"

"How could I." Li Chengyi let out a soft sigh, "Just as humans inadvertently crush ants in their sleep, I, too, am unable to consider those countless lives."

He paused for a mont.

"But, I’m not here to show how strong I am. After all, humans do not flex their muscles to show off to a worm. I’m just... trying to salvage everything."

Salvage everything?

Before the people in the cave could react to what that ant.

Li Chengyi continued to speak.

"If everyone in the world were infected with the Celestial Virus, then perhaps no one would worry about getting injured, wouldn’t have to be capriciously overturned by natural disasters. Life might then embark on a completely new journey."

"So, your decision is..." Tai Suqing grasped Li Chengyi’s thought as she heard this.

Her eyes widened, a complex feeling rising in her heart.

She hadn’t expected that after all the twists and turns, it would co full circle, and Squirrel Grey had chosen a path similar to her own.

"Right, I plan to spread the Celestial Virus all over the world, allowing every being to gain enough strength to no longer worry about being capriciously overturned." Li Chengyi nodded earnestly.

The Celestial Virus had now been assimilated by his own body cells, rging into him.

What was a trendously powerful collective will for Tai Suqing, in Li Chengyi’s eyes, was just so-so; he rged and assimilated it in an instant using the Yin Canon.

And it purified the virus of the myriad rampant instincts within.

The instinctual will for the flesh and blood to regenerate was utterly no match for the powerful will Li Chengyi had cultivated.

In just a few monts, he had completely integrated the Celestial Virus into his being, making it a part of his internal flesh and blood.

To be precise, the Celestial Virus had now beco essentially a tiny part of Li Chengyi’s flesh and blood.

Otherwise, it would have been scorched and eradicated earlier when his body temperature had soared.

"But with this, what will everything beco... What shape will the world take!?" Canglu couldn’t help but interject.

"Maintain the status quo. I won’t trigger the virus’s regenerative power at will, only at critical monts to save the world," Li Chengyi explained. "After all, the human body itself also harbors a large number of viruses that symbiotically entered during the ancient tis. One more seed of the Celestial Virus doesn’t really matter."

With that, Canglu had nothing to retort.

"What are you planning to do?!" Tai Suqing quickly asked, as this had been her dream, and it was what she cared about the most at the mont.

In fact, even with the transfer of viral will, she was now the second-strongest viral entity after Li Chengyi.

If she could truly accomplish such a feat of contagion, her position in the future was also bound to beco second-tier.

"Soon," Li Chengyi said with a slight smile on his face.

Suddenly, his embodint in the Core let out a gentle burp.

A puff of gas expelled, turning into countless fine threads that burst through the ground and shot out of nurous crevices towards the surface.

Before long, under the imnse power of Li Chengyi, the gas perated the surface and rged into the air.

Under Li Chengyi’s will, the modified and enhanced Celestial Virus quickly spread through the air, carried by the wind to every corner of the earth.

Forests, animals, humans—all living beings started to be infected by the Celestial Virus at this mont.

Not to ntion the people in the cave, like Canglu.

The virus began to spread the mont Li Chengyi entered the cave, and it continued to seep out from him endlessly.

At this mont, everyone in the cave started to feel warm.

The virus was pooling and absorbing their physical energy, transforming it into healing power and nding their wounds.

Seconds ticked by.

Soon, Hong Lian felt his eyes itching as if sothing was crawling around inside them.

He even thought a bug might have gotten into his eyes.

But the next second.

Whoosh!

All of a sudden, his originally pitch-black eyes lit up again.

"My eyes! Have they healed!?" He was excited and stood up to carefully inspect his body, only to find that not only his eyes, but all the injuries on his body were healed as well.

The rest of the people in the cave also noticed the sa phenonon.

Not only the recent injuries but also the old, accumulated hidden wounds had healed to their original state.

anwhile, Li Chengyi had already left the entrance of the cave, accompanied by Tai Suqing, who was following closely behind him.

"Xiao Hui..." Kui stood up, looking at his arm that had been restored to its original state, his face showing complex emotions.

Squirrel Grey was the one he initially brought out, but now... it had beco far beyond his reach.

The feeling was hard to describe.

He only knew that watching Xiao Hui leave, there was an inevitable sense of loss in his heart.

At this ti, it wasn’t just them in the cave.

All around the world, all humans, creatures, and plants were permanently parasitized by the Celestial Virus in this mont.

The virus rapidly regenerated their missing limbs and healed their life-threatening injuries.

In just a few minutes, it enabled disabled people to move as before, and the elderly saw their white hair turn black.

Unless it was a body that had been dead for so ti, even those that had just passed away could be healed and revived to stand up again.

But that was its limit.

Li Chengyi stood in front of the completely destroyed capital of the Kingdom of Gus, overlooking the gray, desolate ruins, feeling inexplicably lancholic.

’When the gap becos large enough, just a casual breath could bring about catastrophic consequences for the other party. This is true for the world, and so it is for humanity...’

"This is the law of nature. When you can’t even bear a simple greeting from the other party, you should understand that it’s ti to keep your distance. Because... getting close in itself can also be a form of harm," Tai Suqing said slowly behind him, seemingly guessing the sentint in Li Chengyi’s heart.

"When the strong interact with the weak, the strong always need to be extra careful, restraining themselves. And if the weak are not careful, they could end up being hard by contact. It’s tiring for both parties," Li Chengyi nodded.

"Yes, that’s why gods shouldn’t be approached. It’s not that gods fear being seen through, it’s a form of protection for people themselves," Tai Suqing nodded.

Li Chengyi also thought of many things, he quietly looked at the city that had turned into rubble, and saw a few survivors crying as they searched for their buried family mbers in the ruins.

All these consequences were attributed to him.

He sighed lightly, here in the Black Sea Depths, perhaps, the only way was to ask his master to take action, to turn back ti, and reconstruct everything that once was to redeem everything.

It was a pity that his accumulated rits were far from enough now.

"What do you plan to do next, my lord?" Tai Suqing asked solemnly.

"This is fine," Li Chengyi said. He couldn’t and didn’t have the ti to govern the world. Although this was his world of complete fusion, he was still facing the pressing speed of Eternal Vitality.

Any delay could result in his body exploding.

Even with the Holy Body, he probably wouldn’t hold out for long. He could now feel that his body was still endlessly rushing to strengthen at a mad pace.

Eternal Vitality was the enhancent of flesh and blood. And looking at the previous encounter with the virus.

This Taboo System, rated with Nine Stars in terms of danger, also had the ability to plunder every other superior biological structure; as long as the existence was alive, its innate abilities, according to the content of Taboo knowledge, could be absorbed and imitated by Eternal Vitality.

This trait was truly terrifying. The system was already perverse enough, and if it absorbed other biological traits, the strengthening would be even faster!

’I suddenly understand why the brothers and sisters of Tian Ju Pavilion had to interfere with the cultivation of those with Eternal Vitality...’ Li Chengyi suddenly had a flash in his mind, understanding sothing.
