Li Chengyi instantly understood the aning of the other party; this Wen Lin was obviously an extrely intelligent person. Within just a few minutes of eting, he had already grasped Li’s purpose and even quickly drafted a simple plan to help him investigate the information.
Sure enough, he was a political officer capable of maintaining stability even within the cracks.
"Thank you for the reminder,"
"No need. My grandmother was also a mber of the New Moon Congregation before she married a Common person and returned to the Hunters, so if you have any doubts or troubles, like those internal etiquettes, secret codes, and weaknesses of different hierarchies of the Blood Tribe, you can co and ask again," Wen Lin added another sentence.
"Good!" This was laying the groundwork for a possible future collaboration.
Li Chengyi nodded, his impression of him had improved considerably.
"Then I apologize for this intrusion. Next ti I will use the main entrance, and I hope you won’t refuse at the door," Li Chengyi smiled.
"Rest assured, I will give the orders. Soone with talents like Mr. Li, we would welco you with open arms. The doors of the city governnt and Hunter Division are forever open to those who co as friends," Wen Lin replied with a smile.
"Then, I’ll take my leave," Li Chengyi nodded and set down the docunts.
Hissss.
A flash of black light, and he had disappeared from the chair.
As if he had never been there.
Wen Lin’s smiling face quickly beca serious, and he picked up the receiver to dial a number.
It was the Hunter Division’s number.

The Ludian City Hunter Division was located at the edge of the suburban Andis Park.
The vast public park provided excellent cover for the Division’s secrecy.
It was a large facility built by joining three manors together.
The signs outside read: Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Special Skills Academy.
Inside the Division’s reception area designated for VIPs, Li Chengyi was sitting opposite to the Division Head Liedeman, who had hurried over.
Liedeman had generously provided all the intelligence and information he held to Li Chengyi, with no reservations about the Underworld Church Group or the New Moon Congregation.
He had rushed over from ho to the Division without stopping, after receiving a call from an old friend, just in ti to see Li Chengyi, who had already arrived.
"Regarding the Underworld Church Group, they worship an eternal and splendid death, enjoy death, and seek even greater strength in rebirth. This is their ultimate pursuit. Their specific hierarchy is directly correlated with their ecclesiastical positions,"
Liedeman, a spirited old man with white hair, missing one leg which was replaced by a wooden one, was nonetheless cheerful and talkative, unaffected by his condition.
"The essence of the world is Chaos; it is full of unseen and unknowable mysterious and great existences. Touching the taboo inevitably requires paying a sufficient price to escape. The Underworld Church Group is just like that; anyone entering it is twisted into a Death Celebrant, the lowest level of mber,"
Liedeman explained.
"Their strength isn’t strong, but they possess an extrely troubleso ability."
"What ability?" Li Chengyi asked.
"Undeath," Liedeman answered.
"Undeath? Really undeath?" Li Chengyi was taken aback. This was what many sought as the ultimate pursuit, and it was so readily attainable here?
"True undeath. No matter what thod you use, you cannot kill a Death Celebrant. They will restore their original bodies at zero point the next day. However, their undeath applies only to the physical body. Any ntal or conscious fluctuation could easily cause them to self-destruct and collapse. To put it simply, if you try to kill them physically, they won’t die. But if you manage to persuade and change their beliefs and concepts, causing them to doubt, they don’t need you to act; they will self-destruct and die," Liedeman continued after a sip of water.
"Above them are Death Priests, who can revive and manipulate ghosts and corpses. They also possess undeath, but they have already started to gain decent powers."
"The third level is the Death Lord, who are basically the middle managent, responsible for the stability of the Church Group’s parishes in various regions. Their strength is unknown, but it varies from person to person,"
"The fourth level is the Bishop, who, theoretically, once they take action, can instantly destroy a large city. Any Bishop is a significant influencer in their respective Church Groups."
"The fifth level is the Pope. Their exact strength is unknown, but they are terrifying individuals who can communicate with a Deity at any ti and summon apocalyptic forces," Liedeman said with a wry smile.
"Actually, any of the deities worshipped by the major Church Groups that still have a na in the world, if they were to descend, just their re presence could destroy the entire world."
Destroy the world...
Li Chengyi narrowed his eyes, feeling that if he donned the Divine Flower Gourt, he could do it too. But if a being’s re presence could destroy the world, that indeed was not sothing he could achieve.
How strong these deities really were, he would only know if he battled them.
"So, if you’re going to deal with the Underworld Church Group, you need to prepare carefully. If you don’t want to get involved, our Hunter Division can also help," the old man Liedeman offered seriously.
Once they helped, it would put the other party in their debt, making it easier to negotiate if there’s sothing they need assistance with.
"Is that okay? Wouldn’t that be too much trouble for you?" Li Chengyi frowned.
"Not troubleso at all. If it’s just about gathering information, it’s not troubleso. That incident back then was actually a misunderstanding. Later, when the Underworld Church Group received instructions from the higher-ups, they didn’t pursue it any further," Liedeman said with a relaxed expression.
"In that case, I’ll trouble Division Head Liedeman," Li Chengyi nodded.
"Not a problem. Of course, Mr. Li also needs to be prepared for possibly modest results. Moreover, during this period, the Blood Tribe from the New Moon Congregation is extrely fast; if a conflict arises, rember to strike first,"
"No problem, I’ll do my best. As for the New Moon, I’ll keep that in mind," Li Chengyi understood. It was common knowledge that the Blood Tribe was fast.
He stood up, thought for a mont, and placed a Common Jade Pendant he had brought from Panguang, leaving a bit of his Consciousness Power on it.
"If there’s an issue, you can take this jade pendant and look for at the Dunis Office," he said.
"Good!"
"Then I’ll take my leave," Li Chengyi nodded and left through the main entrance.
Liedeman watched him go, not relaxing until the man had completely descended the stairs and exited the manor’s gate.
Turning around, he carefully took the jade pendant and carried it upstairs to the study where he placed it in a heavy isolation safe.
Next, it was ti to deal with the people from the Hades Congregation. Those people were so proud that they looked at everyone else as if they were looking at monkeys.
Their tiless lives led most of them to beco researchers and scholars, solidifying their beliefs.
The vast reserves of knowledge made them extrely difficult to deal with when facing others.
But if it was just about inquiring information, gaining the friendship of an unknown powerful being without fatalities involved, then the deal was still quite worthwhile.
Picking up the receiver, he dialed the direct number to Hades.
After a series of waiting tones, soon, a slightly impatient voice ca through the receiver.
"Liedeman? What do you want? I have experints to finish, I’ll give you five minutes."
"It’s like this, I want to inquire about the whereabouts of the group of Easterners you’ve battled with in the past."
"Those people? You can look up the information yourself. I don’t have ti to deal with these trivial matters."
"Do a favor. I’ll personally sponsor you thirty vials of Concentration Serum and three million in experintal funds. How about that?" A twinge of pain flickered in Liedeman’s eyes.
"Concentration Serum is difficult to collect, not bad indeed. As for the money, make it five million," the other side bargained.
"Deal!"

Nowadays, the Dunis Office should be called the Everlasting Office.
Li Chengyi had personally changed the na.
On the way back, he was thinking that it was a good thing he did not confront them directly, for the Hades Congregation seed truly otherworldly.
There were indeed beings that were completely immortal and, moreover, there were actual gods.
He carefully estimated, if a god were to descend, how many Imprints would it be equivalent to?
At that level, it must at least be in the True Divine Fire Realm...
At least Yin Yue Taoist and Holy Spirit Taoist are True Fire, but no one has said that their arrival would destroy the world.
’This place, is really deep waters....’
In the afternoon, the gray clouds obscured the sunlight, making the city sowhat chilly.
Li Chengyi walked back, following the suburban lanes, passing by a section marked with road work signs.
Suddenly, he halted in his tracks.
He looked up ahead.
There, erging from an abandoned amusent park by the roadside, was a tall man with golden hair and blue eyes, his skin gleaming white as jade.
The man wore a white suit, a white watch, and held a pure white bone cane. His entire being, including his hair, was immaculately grood.
"May I ask if you are Mr. Li Chengyi?" the man spoke.
"You are...?" Li Chengyi furrowed his brow as he looked at the other. He was certain that he didn’t know this person.
"I co from New Moon. I’ve heard that Mr. Li had the courage to get involved in the murky waters of Dunis, which I admire greatly. Thus, I’ve co specially to ask on what basis you dare to ddle."
The man revealed an enigmatic smile, sizing up Li Chengyi as if he were a fine prey.
"After all, rashly interfering in Dunis’s affairs without withdrawing is considered a violation of the Sunshine Agreent."
"Are you saying that you plan to make a move against ?" Li Chengyi narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the other more closely.
This guy seed quite confident....
"Originally, it was going to be my subordinates, but since we found out that you can move in and out of Hunter Headquarters freely, you mustn’t be weak; so... I decided to take matters into my own hands, just to be safe. After all, rules are not to be broken."
The man released his cane and removed an erald earring from his left ear.
"I am Mosang, currently one of the three main leaders of New Moon Ludian, second only to the Bishop. Pleasure to et you."
He clutched the earring and tossed it forward.
A green light illuminated.
"I’ll just stand right here. If you can touch even once, I might let you off this ti...."
Boom!!
A white blast of air exploded violently.
There was no one in front of Li Chengyi anymore, just a single green earring gently falling to the ground where he’d been.
He withdrew his fist, glanced at its surface, and felt sowhat confused.
"????"
Where did he go??
He only used five tis the speed of sound... still gathering strength, not even having made a move yet... it was just the beginning motion that created a blast of fist wind...
And the other side...
Wasn’t it said that the New Moon Blood Tribe were incredibly fast???
That one must strike first to gain the upper hand???
But this...
Looking at the spot on the ground across from him that was now devoid of any figure, the cane had already exploded into countless tiny fragnts. Li Chengyi suddenly felt as if he might have misunderstood sothing.
Could it be that everyone else’s understanding and concept of speed in this place was completely different from his own?
