"Isn't this because you are the only suitable candidate, Mr. Urahara?" Shiraha said with a faint smile.

If it had been Tessai Tsukabishi or Yoruichi as test subjects, not only would they likely refuse, but Shiraha himself would never allow it. Tessai was now serving as his Kidō teacher, and Yoruichi, for all her mischievous antics, had beco a trusted companion. That left only one person—Urahara Kisuke.

"Brother Shiraha, at least you still have a conscience," Yoruichi teased as she leaned her little feline head toward him.

Not in vain, she thought, had she cared for him so attentively these past days.

"Of course, Miss Yoruichi," Shiraha replied warmly, stroking her head with a smile.

"Then why not let Tessai be your subject?" Urahara Kisuke asked, eyebrow raised.

"Mr. Tessai's strength is too different from yours," Shiraha answered easily. "And besides, he's been teaching Kidō all this ti."

Tessai did not speak, but there was a quiet glimr of approval in his eyes. His instruction had not been in vain.

"Urahara, why so much chatter? Get on with it already," Yoruichi cut in sharply.

"Well, if Lady Yoruichi insists, I suppose I'll experience it firsthand." Urahara rose from the futon with a resigned smile.

Both Tessai and Yoruichi watched closely, curious to see what Shiraha would do.

"The field expands—Infinite Space!" Shiraha's calm voice resonated through the room.

At once, a domain burst outward, centered on him, spreading to encompass everything within a kiloter. Within its influence, Shiraha directed 0.2 seconds to flood Urahara Kisuke's mind with half a year's worth of aningless information, endlessly repeating the concepts of perception and transmission in a suffocating cycle of survival.

Urahara's thoughts blanked, his body slumped, and his eyes glazed.

"Manager!" Tessai cried out in alarm.

"Hey, Urahara!" Yoruichi called, tail bristling.

But Urahara did not respond.

Only a mont later, light flickered back into his eyes and his limbs steadied.

"The domain is released." Shiraha withdrew the space.

"Mr. Urahara, how does my ability feel?" he asked, noting with genuine surprise how swiftly Urahara had escaped the paralysis. Half a year's worth of useless mory had left him frozen for only a second. His strength truly exceeded Shiraha's expectations.

"Shiraha… your ability is utterly bizarre," Urahara admitted, sweat soaking his back, his face drawn in lingering fear. A single second might sound trivial, yet in a Shinigami's battle, it was enough to change everything. With malice, Shiraha could have struck him down during that brief lapse.

"Brother Shiraha, to think you paralyzed even Urahara for a second—that's remarkable," Yoruichi praised, knowing full well the depth of Urahara's power.

To her, the aning was clear. Among the Thirteen Court Guard Divisions, only Yamamoto Genryūsai, Aizen, and Unohana might fare better. Every other captain would suffer even longer under Shiraha's Infinite Space.

"Mr. Urahara, Miss Yoruichi, your praise is too kind," Shiraha replied, though inwardly even he was impressed. To paralyze soone of Urahara's caliber, even briefly, was already astonishing. And this was only the elentary stage. His Infinite Space could be invoked three tis a day, and as his template progressed, its strength would only grow. Perhaps it would extend to five tis, or even ten.

"Shiraha, though your ability subdued for a second, against Aizen it might only last half that, perhaps less," Urahara mused grimly. He knew his own strength did not match Aizen's. If he could be shaken in a heartbeat, then Aizen might shrug it off even faster.

"I understand," Shiraha nodded. He too knew the truth of combat: Reiatsu dictated everything. A weaker spiritual pressure could never breach the defenses of one far stronger. His clash with Ichimaru Gin had proven that; Gin had suppressed most of his power, unprepared for Shiraha's Armant Haki, and so had been injured. Against Aizen, even a mont of paralysis was aningless without the force to pierce his spiritual armor.

Urahara replaced the Hōgyoku into its sealed box, while Tessai chanted layers of Kidō to secure it. Urahara then slid it into a circular cavity in the wall, tapped his cane, and the opening sealed away, leaving only smooth stone.

"Shiraha, let's leave it to Tessai. Co outside," Urahara suggested.

They stepped into the courtyard, leaving Tessai to reinforce the barriers. Urahara reclined lazily, fanning himself, while Shiraha crouched beside him, idly teasing Yoruichi in her black cat form.

"Urahara, are you ho?" A rough voice called suddenly.

A middle-aged man with short black hair in a casual shirt and white coat entered the yard with an easy stride.

"Mr. Kurosaki," Urahara greeted, smiling from his seat. "Where else would I be? What brings you here?"

"Ah, I see you already have guests. I'll be going, then," Kurosaki Isshin replied lightly, though his eyes narrowed at the sight of Shiraha's captain's haori. His pupils contracted, and after a brief nod, he turned as if to leave.

But Shiraha's voice stopped him cold.

"No need to rush off so soon, Kurosaki Isshin. Or rather… Shiba Isshin, forr Captain of the Tenth Division of the Gotei 13."

Shiraha smiled faintly, his words cutting through the sumr air like a blade.
