The Maggot's Nest—an isolated facility constructed under the jurisdiction of the Second Division—served as a holding compound for those deed dangerous by Seireitei's standards, whether or not they had committed actual cris. Nestled in the northwest sector behind the Second Division barracks, it occupied a sealed moat compound roughly the size of thirty hos, hidden from public view and reinforced with countless layers of Kido.

The Shinigami confined here weren't necessarily guilty; many were simply determined to be potential threats—n and won with unstable minds, uncontrollable powers, or convictions that clashed with Soul Society's strict order. By existing law, those judged guilty of actual cris would be handed to the Central 46 for sentencing. Even captains like Shiraha—head of the prestigious Kuchiki clan and commanding officer of the Seventh Division—could not be formally detained without evidence or verdict. However, in light of the recent deaths of Ichikanbanchibō and his escorts, and pending official investigation, Shiraha had been placed under temporary custody here.

"Captain Shiraha," Suì-Fēng said in a firm tone as they approached the outer sanctum of the Second Division's inner compound, "no weapons are permitted inside the Maggot's Nest. Hand over your Zanpakutō."

Without hesitation, Shiraha unclipped the slender staff-blade at his waist and passed it to her silently. She accepted it without ceremony and handed it to a nearby Onmitsukidō officer before proceeding alone, her expression unreadable, her steps leading northwest toward the sealed detention gate.

"The Maggot's Nest only permits the use of Hakuda and Shunpo," Suì-Fēng explained, her voice flat as steel. "No Kido, no Zanpakutō. And no rcy. Every other day, a body is dragged out. Captain Shiraha... be cautious."

Shiraha only smiled lightly, the warning clearly failing to rattle him. "Captain Suì-Fēng," he said, gaze slightly distant, "did you know that during a soul burial training mission in the World of the Living, I encountered soone you've long been searching for—Shihōin Yoruichi?"

The mont the na passed his lips, Suì-Fēng halted mid-stride, turning sharply to face him. "You t Lady Yoruichi?" she demanded, her normally guarded eyes betraying a flicker of emotion.

"That's right," Shiraha confird with a faint smirk. "It seems Captain Suì-Fēng still holds Lady Yoruichi close to her heart."

Suì-Fēng's brows furrowed as she quickly reined in her expression. "If you knew Lady Yoruichi's whereabouts, why didn't you report it to the Seireitei?"

"Why?" Shiraha echoed with a soft chuckle. "Because I didn't feel like it. Is that not reason enough?"

"Then why tell at all?" she asked quietly, almost wary of the answer.

"Because I can see that you care," Shiraha replied simply, his words cutting through her usual composure like a blade of wind through mist.

Suì-Fēng snorted and turned away with a curt shake of her head, but said nothing. Though she walked in silence, the stiffness in her movents betrayed her conflicted thoughts.

They finally arrived before a massive iron gate guarded by two Shinigami clad in reinforced uniforms. Across the tal were etched dozens of complex Kido incantations, glowing faintly with spiritual energy—layers of binding spells that sealed away the dangerous reiryoku within.

"Open it," Suì-Fēng ordered curtly.

With a heavy groan of spiritualized steel, one of the guards pressed his palm against the glowing sigil, activating the gate's chanisms. The doors parted slowly, revealing a dark interior corridor.

"Captain Shiraha," Suì-Fēng said, her voice notably less harsh now, "this is where you'll remain until the investigation concludes. I'll return when your release is authorized."

Nodding, Shiraha stepped inside without another word. As the doors closed behind him, his Observation Haki scanned the space, detecting a sloping passageway ahead. It curved downward gradually, illuminated only by dim Kido lanterns embedded in the walls. At the bottom stood a heavy door—thick with steel, bolted with spiritual locks.

So this is it, Shiraha thought as he descended the winding stairwell. The infamous Maggot's Nest.

He paused halfway down, a murmur escaping his lips. "I wonder if hitting 95% template progress will trigger sothing special."

His current progress sat at 90%. Completing the Maggot's Nest sign-in task would push it to 95%. He walked the rest of the way with silent precision and stopped at the steel door. Without hesitation, he pushed it open and stepped through.

> Check-in successful. Task reward acquired: Fujitora (Issho) Template Progress increased by 5%.

Current Template Completion: 95%

> Fujitora Template: 95%

Abilities Acquired:

Observation Haki (Perfect Mastery)

Armant Haki (Perfect Mastery)

Swordsmanship (Perfect Mastery)

Exclusive Ability: Gravity Manipulation (Perfect Mastery)

— Control up to 60x gravity within a 200-kiloter radius

— Apply gravitational force to weapons

— Utilize gravity with Observation Haki to summon teorites from orbit (up to 200 ters in diater)

— Abilities: Weightlessness Control, Gravity Blade: Tiger, Gravitational Suppression, Light of Gravity, Hell Brigade, Fire Ritual (levitating terrain fragnts, summoning teorites, transforming the battlefield into a sea of fla)

In an instant, Shiraha felt a monuntal shift within his body. His spiritual veins pulsed with reinforced energy, as though gravity itself now flowed through his bones. The enhancent wasn't subtle. His gravitational control had doubled in range—he could now command the forces of the planet across 200,000 ters, the equivalent of 200 kiloters.

Observation Haki, however, remained capped at 100 kiloters. While still vast, it didn't match the full extent of his gravitational influence.

"So gravity control truly reached perfection at 95%..." he whispered, awe tinged with satisfaction. "Finally, I have it. The one ability I've waited for most."

He could now manipulate gravitational fields to crush enemies, augnt strikes, suppress spiritual energy, or call down teorites from tens of thousands of kiloters in the atmosphere. Though currently limited to stones 200 ters wide, the sheer power of such a technique was terrifying.

I haven't tested it yet, he thought. But I already know—if I unleash that teorite, there's no surviving it.

The technique didn't require micro-control. Unlike Fujitora in the One Piece world, who fine-tuned descent speeds to avoid civilian casualties, Shiraha could simply let gravity do the work. A teorite falling from orbit at terminal velocity—hundreds of kiloters per second—would strike with force capable of vaporizing everything within tens of kiloters.

Even in One Piece, Fujitora had to restrain that power. Without control... the result is complete annihilation.

His expression darkened. "This... isn't sothing I can use freely. It's not a technique—it's a final move."

Summoning a teorite without precise manipulation ant letting it crash uncontrollably. With a fall speed exceeding hundreds of kiloters per second, the window to flee would vanish instantly. And his Shunpo, even at max output, barely covered a few thousand ters per second—utterly inadequate to escape a blast radius that vast.

Unless he imdiately deployed a dinsional portal, he would die alongside his enemies.

A kamikaze strike.

No margin for error.

No second attempt.
