"Little Shiraha, is this also part of your Zanpakutō's power?" Yoruichi asked, her golden eyes narrowing with suspicion.
She had never seen this ability before. The way Shiraha bent the principal's mind without a whisper of Reiatsu—without even moving—felt different from anything she knew. That could only an one thing: it was a new technique, born after he perfected his Zanpakutō's Shikai.
"No," Shiraha replied with a faint smile. "It's an ability I gained after my eyes were restored. It has nothing to do with my Shikai."
The Hypnosis technique required only one condition—to et his gaze. Once the target's eyes t Shiraha's, their will would collapse in an instant. In that mont, their mind was rewritten and their perception enslaved.
It resembled Aizen's Kyōka Suigetsu in its terrifying simplicity, though the key to resisting it was equally clear: as long as one avoided his eyes, one could remain immune.
"So that's how it works," Yoruichi murmured, half-impressed, half-concerned.
"Alright, Miss Yoruichi," Shiraha said lightly, "keep your voice down. If anyone overhears us, I'll have to hypnotize them too."
Yoruichi, in her black cat form, sighed and nestled deeper in his arms. "Understood."
"Wake up."
Shiraha's tone softened as he looked toward the principal.
The man blinked, the trance dissolving into a look of warm recognition. "Ah, Mr. Shiraha! I'll have Ochi-sensei escort you to Class 1-3 imdiately."
He lifted the phone and made the call.
—
anwhile, inside Karakura First High School, students trickled into the classroom as the morning light poured through the windows.
Keigo Asano burst in with his usual boundless energy, short brown hair bouncing as he slung his schoolbag over his shoulder. "Ichigooo! I missed you, man!"
Ichigo turned just as Keigo lunged, hooking an arm around his neck and effortlessly throwing him off balance. "Morning, idiot."
"Morning, Ichigo."
Mizuiro Kojima entered calmly, a polite smile on his face, his uniform immaculate as always.
"Morning, Mizuiro," Ichigo replied, and the two walked to their seats together.
Across the room, Inoue Orihi was chatting animatedly with Sado Yasutora and Arisawa Tatsuki, her bright voice carrying over the morning chatter. When she spotted Ichigo, she waved happily. "Good morning, Kurosaki-san!"
Sado nodded in quiet acknowledgnt, folding his massive arms.
"Hey, long ti no see, Ichigo." Tatsuki leaned back in her chair, her cropped dark-blue hair brushing her shoulders. "You haven't been ho much lately. Where've you been hiding?"
Ichigo scratched his head, forcing a casual smile. "Uh… I went to another city."
In truth, he hadn't even been in the Human World. Most of his sumr had been spent training under Urahara Kisuke—regaining the power he'd lost after the battle in Soul Society.
"Another city, huh?" Tatsuki said with a skeptical grin. "Must've been so trip."
Mizuiro chuckled. "You and Sado both look stronger than before."
Keigo imdiately jumped in. "Wait, what? You two went where? What are you hiding?"
Ichigo dodged his reaching hand with practiced ease. "Don't start with your weird theories again."
He flicked Keigo on the forehead. The boy yelped, staggering dramatically across the room.
anwhile, Tatsuki turned toward Orihi. "So, Orihi, how was your trip to your relative's house?"
Orihi's eyes lit up. "It was wonderful! A lot happened… and I t soone really kind."
"A lot happened?" Tatsuki repeated, brow arched.
"Mm-hmm! I went sowhere really strange," Orihi said with an innocent smile. "There were people carrying swords, and a talking cat—oh, and that cat turned into a beautiful woman later!"
She paused thoughtfully. "And I t a handso man who was very gentle."
Ichigo and Sado stiffened instantly. Damn it, Orihi…!
Tatsuki blinked. "Right… swords, cats, and handso guys. Sure. Sounds like a dream vacation."
She ruffled Orihi's hair affectionately. "You're too funny. Let's try to focus this sester, okay?"
"Okay!" Orihi said cheerfully.
Ichigo and Sado both exhaled quietly, relieved that Tatsuki hadn't taken her story seriously.
"Ishida," Ichigo said suddenly, glancing toward the boy beside him. "How's your recovery going?"
Uryu Ishida adjusted his glasses, his voice calm but subdued. "It's complete."
After returning from Soul Society, Ishida had done exactly as Shiraha instructed—he sought out his father, Ishida Ryūken. Under his guidance, he successfully restored his Quincy powers. But that restoration ca with a heavy condition: he was forbidden to associate with Shinigami ever again.
"That's great! Ishida-san finally got his strength back," Orihi said with a smile.
Sado nodded. "I'm glad."
They had all been worried after Shiraha explained the consequences of Uryu's loss. To see him restored brought a quiet relief.
Ichigo smiled faintly. "See? I told you Shiraha's thod would work. You should be happy."
Uryu closed his book, his expression unreadable. "You don't understand anything, Kurosaki."
Ichigo frowned. "What's that supposed to—"
The bell rang, cutting him off.
Students hurried to their seats as the classroom door slid open. Ochi Miyuki, their horoom teacher, stepped inside carrying a folder. Her kind expression softened the chatter at once.
"Alright, everyone," she said with a bright smile. "It looks like we're all here today. I have so good news to share."
She turned toward the door. "Mr. Shiraha, please co in."
The room fell silent.
