As the door was pushed open, Kimura Muyang noticed that every eye in the room was on him, which took him aback.
All 12th Division mbers carefully observed Kimura Muyang with an admiring look on their faces. This was completely unexpected for him as he was fully prepared for the worst as it made sense if the rest of the mbers couldn’t accept him as the new Lieutenant. However, what he saw before him completely blew his mind.
Hikifune smiled slightly. As she expected, half an hour was enough for everyone to know what happened that day. Strength was basically everything here, after all. “Captain, why did you pick Kimura Muyang to be our Lieutenant!”
Hiyori clearly seed dissatisfied with Kimura Muyang being appointed as the 12th Division Lieutenant as she frowned and seed down when she asked Hikifune Kirio that question.
“What’s wrong? Did you have sothing against him?” She then said as she reached out and patted Hiyori in the head: “If you have a complaint, co to the Captain’s Office with instead of just standing here.”
Hiyori clearly enjoyed it when Hikifune Kirio patted her head with her innocent smile. At monts like this, she sure seed like another little girl in everyone’s eyes, even though she actually was.

In the lounge, everyone was flocking onto Kimura Muyang, while he was completely overwheld by everyone’s enthusiasm. The atmosphere is clearly different from the 12th Division that he knew.
“Lieutenant, tell us about the run-in with the 5th Division Captain.”
“Lieutenant, do you mind showing us your Zanjutsu? I heard that you also defeated Lieutenant Asano, the forr 9th Division Lieutenant.”
“Lieutenant, I heard that Captain Kuruyashiki from the 11th Division invited you to visit the 11th Division. What’s going on?”

As he heard the swarm of questions, Kimura Muyang finally understood what was going on here. They all must’ve heard about what happened today, but he sure didn’t expect that their attitude toward him would change this much just because of that.

Even though he didn’t end up fighting Watanabe Keiryu, the fact that he was brave enough to challenge a Captain already sent a chill down their spine. Besides, both Captain and Lieutenant were sothing beyond their reach, so they admired them.
After figuring out the reason behind their behavior, the rest was easy. Kimura Muyang asked everyone to have a seat and then answered their questions one by one. As for the questions he couldn’t answer, Kimura Muyang just smiled profoundly while they were guessing what the aning behind that smile was.

“Lieutenant, let’s hold a banquet to celebrate this occasion.”
“Huh? Is that okay, 4th Seat Tanaka?” Tanaka Tatsui’s words left Kimura Muyang wondering. By this ti, Kimura Muyang already learned everyone’s na, even though they were not close enough to be called friends just yet.
“It’s okay. Our Captain likes banquet anyway.”
“Well, if you say so. However, be sure to keep it in moderation.”
“Relax, just leave it to us. We will make sure it’s a morable one for you, Lieutenant. Right, everyone?”
“Of course, it will be a pleasant surprise for Lieutenant.”
Being surrounded by Division mbers who cared deeply for him, Kimura Muyang was genuinely happy from the bottom of his heart.
“You seem to be in high spirits. What were you talking about?” Hikifune Kirio asked out of nowhere, startling Kimura Muyang.
“Kirio-san, stop popping out of nowhere. It’s not good for my heart.”
“Did I?” Hikifune Kirio didn’t seem to pay it to mind and then imdiately asked: “What’s everyone talking about? They seem to enjoy themselves.”
“Captain, we are thinking of holding a welco party for Lieutenant.”
There was a trace of excitent in her eyes before she smiled and said, “A banquet? That’s what I’m talking about. I will take care of it myself!”
Kimura Muyang began to have a doubt when he heard Hikifune Kirio’s response. Did Hikifune Kirio like party so much that she didn’t care it might hinder the Division’s job? Such thought crossed his mind.
“Which food should I serve? What should I do? There are too many delicious foods to choose.”
It was as if Kimura Muyang’s expectation of the dreamy Hikifune Kirio shattered into pieces. To think that his gorgeous Captain was a glutton even though her stylish body didn’t seem to show any sign of it.
Shortly after, Hiyori jumped toward Kimura Muyang’s head and then said with a disgruntled tone as she sat on his head: “Hey, Kimura, although Captain appointed you as Lieutenant, I won’t forgive you if you don’t live up to her expectation and put the 12th Division’s na to sha.”
Kimura Muyang finally realized Hiyori was against him taking up the Lieutenant seat because she didn’t know how strong he was and suspected that he might drag the 12th Division’s reputation down the mud. In short, she just really loved this Division.
“Of course, I’m the 12th Division Lieutenant, after all.” Kimura Muyang said proudly.
“Ah~ Hiyori, why did you hit out of nowhere?”
“Don’t get ahead of yourself!”
