Finally, no more being caught between life and death.

Literally being "caught between life and death."

Yang Qizhou let out a long sigh of relief. Luckily, he hadn’t used all of the "Old Sacrifices" to buy the Destiny Fire Bottle, otherwise it would have been a complete waste.

Looking at the contents on the text, he clicked his tongue in amazent again.

"The ’Golden Divine Envoy’ wrote a New Order, and yet it still surfaced in my ’Law Book.’"

"That’s really interesting."

"Since modifying the [Wind Bell Town’s Law Book] leads to options appearing, then direct and extensive rewriting versus distorting the aning of a passage by altering a word or two should have different outcos."

"What should I choose?"

Yang Qizhou pondered to himself.

In truth, he was more inclined toward direct and extensive reworking—straightforward and hassle-free.

Of course, there were more reasons than that. Based on the depictions in the text, the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ had already been suppressed. The terror in the storm had beco far less potent under the New Order’s creation, falling into an almost absolute disadvantage.

Just distorting Order’s content via a word or two might not be as effective, and could even make the ’Silver Divine Envoy’s’ situation worse,

which wasn’t Yang Qizhou’s intention.

He wanted the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ and the ’Golden Divine Envoy’ to perish together.

Just like a ga character would wish.

"What’s there to hesitate about? Don’t forget, I’ve got the official cheat ’Dark Crow of Profane Fortune.’ If worse cos to worst, I’ll just reload and choose again."

"When facing a choice, everyone else can only pick one storyline."

"But I’m different."

"I want it all."

As the thought occurred, Yang Qizhou decisively chose ’One.’

...

...

"You witnessed the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ falling into an absolute disadvantage. The grand figure wielding storms, rain, and lightning was being ruthlessly suppressed by golden Order Chains, and an urgency grew in your heart as you decided to rewrite laws extensively."

"You opened your personal copy of the [Wind Bell Town’s Law Book]."

"You didn’t hesitate anymore."

"You seized the mont when the text on the ’Law Book’ was wiped clean by the Golden Divine Envoy, imdiately filling in three new rules of order, which were..."

"Prohibit any ordinance that restricts the order of storms and rain in this place."

"Prohibit actions that limit anyone’s personal freedom."

"Prohibit the creation of any unfair order."

"Coming up with three new rules advantageous to the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ in such a short ti—wow, I’m really clever."

"You were feeling quite pleased with yourself..."

"Then you looked up at the sky do, thinking you’d already contributed enough help to the ’Silver Country’s Divine Envoy, who should now be able to turn the tide and fight the ’Golden Country’s’ Divine Envoy on equal footing."

"You noticed the golden Order Chains in the sky being stained with light green, as if polluted. The powerful and indestructible rules targeting ’storm and rain’ began to crumble bit by bit."

"You saw torrential rain and roaring thunder reappear, sweeping toward ’Wind Bell Town.’ The terrifying electromagnetic storm destroyed all information in the void, and mystery from the Order side began collapsing on a massive scale."

"You saw the majestic three-ter-tall figure of the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ pierce through heaven and earth, solidifying like eternity, and in an instant destroyed the body of the ’Golden Divine Envoy,’ which was made of mud and tentacles."

"You saw the enforcer of the ’True Court,’ with golden-yellow eyes full of confusion, as if wondering why they had created such ’absurd’ rules."

"Inspired by so unknown revelation, the ’Golden Divine Envoy’ seed to realize sothing, they fixed their gaze in your direction, staring at the golden ancient book in your hands, baffled about the existence of a second copy of the [Wind Bell Town’s Law Book]."

"Thus, the Golden Country’s Divine Envoy disintegrated amidst the wind and rain."

"They were dead."

"Then you saw the Silver Country’s Divine Envoy, standing godlike among the storm and rain, casting a violent gaze toward you. Twisted and nauseating ravings echoed in your ears."

"Hand over... the Silver... Holy Object."

"And then... end yourself."

"I... will... take your... soul to the Silver Country... to face... the Wind Lord’s... punishnt."

...

...

"Damn, killed in seconds? ’Golden Divine Envoy,’ you’re too weak!"

Yang Qizhou exclaid reflexively, causing his neighbors to start cursing at him past midnight. After apologizing profusely, peace was finally restored.

Returning to the sofa and flipping through the text’s contents, Yang Qizhou was utterly speechless...

"Hell, I went overboard with the edits."

"I just wanted those two jerks to be evenly matched, ideally ending up in mutual destruction, not for the ’Golden Divine Envoy’ to get obliterated in seconds."

This incident, however, served as a wake-up call for Yang Qizhou.

On the ancient grounds, battles between ’hidden entities’ are extraordinarily perilous, involving powers, concepts, and symbolism. Even a minuscule factor can sway the course of a war.

Previously, the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ may have been suppressed by the Golden Divine Envoy’s mysterious Order-side powers, confined to the sky and trapped in grave danger, teetering on the brink of extinction.

Yet as a Favored of the Wind Lord, perhaps all they needed was an opportunity to escape the impasse.

Not to ntion such crude and extensive rewriting of the rules by the ga character.

The ’Golden Divine Envoy’ eting their end quickly wasn’t surprising at all.

As for the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ demanding the ga character’s soul to take to the Silver Country for punishnt by the Wind Lord... that was out of the question.

"The ga character has already housed the ’Ancient Roots,’ and based on ’Little Seventeen’s’ comntary, they’ve beco a Wizard desecrating Divinity."

"Even if they managed to deceive the Silver Divine Envoy,"

"There’s no way a ’Pillar-Level’ god would be fooled."

"If they were truly taken to the Silver Country, this account would most likely be rendered useless."

"A kill that also crushes the soul—brutal."

"But I’m not afraid because I have the ’Dark Crow of Profane Fortune.’"

"Reload for ."

...

...

"You noticed the looming danger and imdiately summoned the ’Dark Crow of Profane Fortune’ in your mind."

"You saw the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ advancing toward you,"

"The wind howled, torrential rain poured, and you sensed an evil force polluting your soul."

"Just then, the crow’s cry echoed in your mind, initiating a reload. Your surroundings blurred, twisted, and shattered... you returned to the mont of your earlier choice."

"You saw the familiar scene,"

"The storm had greatly diminished. Strange words manifested in the void, forming golden Order Chains that locked the sky, once again trapping the ’Silver Divine Envoy.’ Lightning transford into electromagnetic storms raging uncontrollably but failing to breach the ’Golden Divine Envoy’s’ newly established Order."

"Ti reversed, and the crossroads of fate appeared once more before you—the despicable, scheming explorer always relying on cheats to get by for free."

"This ti, would you choose to rewrite extensively and directly the new Order established by the ’Golden Divine Envoy,’"

"Or would you add a word or two to distort the aning of a passage, aiming to lead both the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ and the ’Golden Divine Envoy’ to mutual destruction?"

"Make your decision again."

...

...

Does it even require a choice? Clearly, ’Two.’

The painful experience of the last attempt is still fresh. Though retaining mories of the previous fate line might trigger new possibilities, if the ’reload’ opportunity is used up and the wrong choice made, any future storyline—no matter how trash—would have to be endured.

Two, two, two!

There’s no way both options are dead ends!

...

...

"You have mories from the previous fate line, fully aware of how perilous the battles between the ’Transcendent’ are, where powers, concepts, and symbolism, even the slightest manifestation of a mysterious elent, can radically sway the war’s course."

"You dare not use your copy of the [Wind Bell Town’s Law Book] to extensively alter the Golden Divine Envoy’s newly established Order anymore."

"You chose to aid the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ secretly by distorting sentences’ anings with minor modifications—adding or deleting a word or two."

"Of course,"

"You wouldn’t let the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ gain too much advantage either. After all, your goal was for both Divine Envoys to perish together."

"You activated the effect of ’Hidden God’s Clothes,’ hiding yourself in a corner of the Holy Hall, carefully ensuring you wouldn’t be discovered..."

"You opened your copy of [Wind Bell Town’s Law Book]."

"You saw the ’Golden Divine Envoy’ creating a new Order through their copy of the Law Book, and the contents surfaced in your Law Book as well."

"You saw the new Order state... Any force attempting to harm ’Wind Bell Town’ will be obliterated under Order."

"You pondered for a mont before adding the word ’slowly.’"

"Ultimately, the Order was anded to: Any force attempting to harm ’Wind Bell Town’ will be ’slowly’ obliterated under Order."

"You saw another new Order being generated, stating... Any action causing the death of ’Wind Bell Town’ residents will be punished by Order."

"You pondered again and added the word ’slight.’"

"Ultimately, the Order was anded to: Any action causing the death of ’Wind Bell Town’ residents will be punished with ’slight’ consequences by Order."

"You looked up at the sky do, observing the wind and rain around the ’Silver Divine Envoy’ growing even more violent. Terrifying lightning turned into electromagnetism, decimating information in the void, including encroaching Order. The ’Silver Divine Envoy’ was gradually breaking free from their ’extre disadvantage.’"

"It seed insufficient still."

"You thought for a while and decided to try again. Coincidentally, a new Order was being created by the ’Golden Divine Envoy,’ stating... Anyone harboring malice toward shall suffer the sternest punishnt by Order."

"You deliberated briefly, replaced the word ’sternest’ with ’mildest.’"

"Finally, the sentence beca..."

"Anyone harboring malice toward shall suffer the ’mildest’ punishnt by Order."

"Such a despicable explorer, content after making these changes, you directed your gaze at the two Divine Envoys in the sky do."
