Nice.

Trusting ’Lena’ was indeed the right call.

Although the [Deceit World] is just a text-based ga with no grand scenes or epic scope, Yang Qizhou could still feel its imnse and sweeping atmosphere between the lines.

It’s just... this is getting a bit too intense.

"Awaken the ’Night Watchers’ who have eternally slumbered in the River of Death, making them actively absorb the Sun’s pollution to contend against the encroachnt of the Night."

"Before, I already thought Alice, as an ’Old God Believer,’ was ruthless enough."

"I didn’t expect Lena to be even more cutthroat."

"Her father is part of this, too."

Yang Qizhou shuddered. Sure enough, no one who thrives on this ancient land is normal.

At least I live in a peaceful, free, prosperous, and democratic world.

Keep playing, keep playing.

...

...

"While the [Tree of Hunger] was being eroded by the Night and had no ti to notice you, you once again used the ’Hidden God’s Clothes’."

"At the very mont the Fla opened its eyes, the Activated Night sensed the threat. The pitch-black night resembled writhing walls of flesh, its terrifying pollution spreading across the land, and the Night seed to co alive, desperate to consu the Sun’s flas completely."

"But the Sun was simply too terrifying. Vegetation distorted, reality blurred, as if so invisible maw was devouring everything."

"You were keenly aware of how horrifying the Sun’s pollution was and dared not look directly into its flas."

"This was a battle steeped in concepts and symbols, brutally intense and unbearable to witness."

"The Sun clearly held the upper hand."

"You saw the Night being torn apart again, as firelight slowly consud the Eternal Night’s darkness. Countless Night’s Children howled in agony, twisted by the pollution into re husks that worshipped the Sun."

"You noticed Alice’s expression turning grim."

"She had anticipated your sche, calculated everything, but never imagined that the successive generations of ’Night Watchers’ from Fire Stealing Village would go to such lengths as to willingly embrace the Sun’s pollution."

"You saw Alice’s expression suddenly contort into sothing grotesque."

"She said..."

"I hadn’t planned to do this. You forced my hand."

"Alice then did sothing truly shocking—she actively unlocked the seal on the ’Giant God’ within her, allowing this Ancient Dominator to show signs of awakening from its slumber."

"The Night seed to sense this ’prisoner’ was about to break free and surged with even more ferocity. Countless Night’s Children crossed the boundaries of illusion and reality, constantly converging. The Holy Emblem representing the ’Night’ grew ever more vast, exalted, and tiless."

"You saw through Alice’s intent."

"This ’Old God Believer’ was outright willing to break the seal on the ’Giant God’ to summon even more of the Night’s power, all to suppress the twisted Sun ford by the successive Night Watchers."

"You saw the tides of Night grow more turbulent. The once-shining Sun began to dim."

"The Night regained the upper hand."

"Was this cruel woman about to turn the tables? Your anxiety peaked, and you even considered using a [Silver Holy Object], prepared to summon storms and unleash twisted terrors."

"And then, at that mont..."

"You noticed a sudden change—Alice’s once fair skin started wrinkling. Her beautiful long hair turned white, and her entire deanor twisted imnsely. Her visage oscillated between fury, hatred, fear, and determination."

"You quickly deduced the reason... Alice had released too many restraints, causing cracks to appear in the cage imprisoning the ’Giant God.’ The power of ’Deterioration’ had begun its backlash, and this Old God Believer was struggling to suppress it."

"You started to deliberate."

"The ’Dream Monster’ had been gnawed on by the [Tree of Hunger] and could no longer stir up trouble."

"The [Tree of Hunger] was preoccupied with combating the Night’s erosion."

"The Giant God, the Sun, the Night—the three forces had reached a stalemate."

"What was now needed was a single opportunity to break the deadlock and decide the outco."

"And you yourself,"

"might just beco that opportunity."

...

...

Initially, I just wanted to screw over the ’Old God Believer’ and the ’Dream Realm’s Child,’ but instead, the Sun, the Night, and the Giant God all showed up. This plot is absolutely insane.

"Judging from the narrative,"

"the ’Dream Realm’s Child’ is already done for. After being gnawed on by the [Tree of Hunger], they’re as good as dead, even if not literally."

"The Tree of Hunger is also useless trash now, corrupted by the Night and focused entirely on resisting erosion. Counting on It breaking the stalemate is pointless."

"Which leaves only the Ga Character..."

Yang Qizhou’s mind went into overdrive, weighing every possible option.

You couldn’t bla him for being so cautious. The battle at Fire Stealing Mountain was likely the climax of the ’Fire Stealing Village’ dungeon. Its resolution would shape the future narrative for his character. If he misstepped, it wouldn’t necessarily make the ga unplayable but would certainly lead to a lot of unnecessary setbacks.

"Right, I can use this item."

"Its rank isn’t very high—just ’Quasi-Excellent’—but it’s perfectly suited for this situation. Not only can it distract Alice, but it can also extract information."

"I’ll go with this."

Yang Qizhou grinned slyly, then activated an item.

...

...

"You used the ’Stone of Truth’ on Alice. For the next five minutes, she must answer any question you ask."

"Alice clearly sensed the strange power of the ’Stone of Truth.’ Her eyes flickered with shock before locking onto you with a gaze full of hatred and murderous intent. If looks could kill, you’d already be reduced to minceat."

Not long ago, he had forced an ’Old God Believer’ into Compulsory Forgiveness. Now, he’d provoked even more resentnt. His Ga Character sure was a magnet for trouble.

But I like it.

Yang Qizhou continued playing.

"You smirked, ignoring Alice’s murderous glare, and asked your first question..."

"In our last conversation, you ntioned information about the ’Silver Country’ and the ’Golden Country.’ Was there any fraud involved?"

"No... none."

"The Old God Believer gritted her teeth as she responded. In the very sa mont, the backlash from the Giant God grew even more severe. Before your eyes, she visibly aged significantly."

"You weren’t in a hurry, knowing that the ’Stone of Truth’ had a five-minute effect."

"You asked again... What are you feeling right now?"

"I regret it deeply. I should have banished you into the Eternal Night the mont I had the chance, so you’d experience the despair of endless wandering in the dark."

"As the words left her lips, Alice’s form twisted further. A colossal figure in the hues of dusk appeared behind her. Wherever its shadow fell, all things decayed—a truly terrifying sight."

"It was the ’Giant God’ imprisoned by the Lord of Night within Alice’s body. It spoke... Lord of Night, we have escaped your prison."

"Your sche had succeeded."

"Forced to answer your questions, Alice couldn’t fully focus on suppressing the ’Giant God,’ allowing this Ancient Dominator to break free."

"The tides of the battle... shifted."
