The ga continues.

...

"Your face suddenly turned grim,"

"The ’God of Justice,’ knowing fully well that the eting was aid at Them, chose to proceed regardless. Perhaps They are trying to fulfill so unspeakable, terrifying sche. This idea surfaced in your mind, and you beca exceedingly cautious."

"You prepared the ’Heart Dream Source’ and the ’Lost Night,’"

"You prepared to utilize ’Destiny Reappearance’ at any mont, to unleash the power of the ’Dream Hidden World Clothes,’ entering a Hidden state."

"You even gripped the ’Silver Holy Object’ and the ’Thunder Eye’ tightly in your hands, ready to rge them into the ’Storm God’s Scepter’ to unleash catastrophic destruction upon the Extre East Land the second the ’God of Justice’ revealed malicious intent."

"Of course,"

"The last resort would only be used as a matter of absolute necessity. If you could still leverage the ’Destiny Fire Bottle’ and the ’False Road Marker’ to escape the current predicant, you would avoid creating that horrifying ancient object drawing the ’Wind Lord’s’ gaze."

"Despite the tempest raging in your heart, even preparing to tear off all pretenses with the ’God of Justice,’ your expression remained composed. You deftly redirected the conversation without revealing anything..."

"Bearer of the ’Libra,’ revered ’God of Justice,’ I did, after all, aid in driving back nurous ’Evil Gods of the Land of Prayer Light’ and saved tens of thousands of ’Children of Justice.’ Yet, now you refuse to even grant an audience. Isn’t that quite disrespectful?"

"A voice, kind yet tinged with helplessness, echoed... My apologies, shrouded outsider. It’s not that I don’t wish to et with you, but the mont you witness my form of existence, madness and death would surely follow."

Upon reading this part of the text, five words surfaced in Yang Qizhou’s mind,

"’Gods Cannot Be Gazed Upon’..."

"Could it be that the ’God of Justice’ has fallen into the sa state as the ’Moonlight Ancient God,’ Their existential being corrupted by divinity, echoing terrifying ravings? But no... They are still calm, not succumbing to grotesque madness."

The ga continues,

"You imdiately thought of the plight of the ’Moonlight Ancient God’ and the ’Hidden Information on Divinity’ once shared by the ’Tree Ancient God.’

"In a lowered voice, you stated... You have been polluted by ’Divinity.’"

"A gentle voice once again emanated from the Pure White Sun... ’Divinity’ is a curse that accompanies every deity. Naturally, I am no exception. Unfortunately, the long gestation of the ’Children of Justice’ left without sufficient Old Sacrifices to counteract the contamination of ’Divinity.’"

"Of course, you didn’t imdiately trust these words and asked once more... ’God of Justice,’ I deeply regret the calamities you’ve faced. However, sothing seems odd. I’ve encountered other deities corroded by ’Divinity’ before, and they were not like you, not like this, not like this..."

"You left the rest unspoken, believing that the other party understood what you were implying."

"You’re trying to say, unlike , they weren’t this normal, right?"

"The ’God of Justice’ didn’t take offense and responded with asured calmness... ’If it were any other deity, even those at the ’Pillar Level’ like the ’Cosmic Pillars,’ their forms would undergo horrific distortions under the contamination of Divinity, plunging them into hysterical madness. However, thanks to so special factors, that fate did not befall .’

"Special factors?"

"Always one to analyze, your thoughts instinctively wandered."

"The ’God of Justice’ was Activated by the ’Emblem of Justice,’ a miraculous relic that served as the ’Divine Descent Sacrificial Object’ of the ’King of Virtue,’ who in turn was once a ’Pillar Level’ deity herded by the ’Lord of Blasphemy’ during the Third Epoch..."

"Could the uniqueness of the ’God of Justice’ be tied to this?"

"anwhile, the nearby ’Secret Cultivator’ was utterly confused. All this talk of ’Divinity’ and ’curses of deities’ was entirely foreign to her."

"Though baffled, she wisely remained silent, choosing instead to listen and collect as much useful information as possible."

...

"’Lamp Holder,’ what does it an that ’Divinity is a curse that accompanies deities’? Are you saying that even exalted deities cannot escape dreadful, unavoidable hidden dangers?" A trembling voice ca forth, for in alignnt with the ga character being within the ’Justice Temple,’ the corresponding text tied to the ’Secret Cultivator’ reflected the conversation with the God of Justice.

This is entirely unlike how I’d envisioned deities.

The ’Secret Cultivator’ thought quietly to herself,

Montarily shifting focus from the ga, Yang Qizhou put down his phone and, after pondering, replied, "To my knowledge, in the ancient days of the Old Land, certain ’dominators’ outright refused to beco gods, for they feared the horrors brought by ’Divinity.’"

The ’Secret Cultivator’ said nothing, though the furrowed knot of her brows clearly expressed her inner turmoil...

After several seconds of silence,

"If one becos a deity, what’s the worst that could happen?" This ti, her voice carried a raspiness, lacking its prior confident, succinct tone.

Yang Qizhou recalled the twisted, fleshy mural of the ’Moonlight Ancient God’ and the instinct-driven monstrosity of the ’Wings of Greed,’ then responded earnestly, "Losing oneself and becoming a monster."

After a pause, Yang Qizhou added, "Deities are neither eternal nor invincible, nor are they as exalted as you might imagine. Many unspeakable horrors of the wilderness might very well have originally been deities that transford. Even though you’ve never set foot in the ’Old Land,’ the texts probably hint at the grotesque monstrosities there. So on the question of whether to beco a god, I suggest you consider carefully."

Of course, as a Blasphemous Wizard who ruled the Third Epoch and herded deities like livestock, concerns over ’Divinity’ were never an issue—after all, its side effects were borne by the deities alone.

Yang Qizhou silently appended this thought...

The ’Secret Cultivator’s’ expression shifted unpredictably, her teeth biting deeply into her lip, nails digging into her skin, seemingly oblivious to the pain. After a long mont of silence, "’Lamp Holder,’ let’s refresh the text first. This matter can wait until we find the ’Taboo Treasure’ from the ’Truth House.’

Clearly, she was still entangled in hesitation and unable to make a decision at this ti.

Yang Qizhou shrugged, indifferent, and after adding a casual "Suit yourself," redirected his gaze back to the ga.

The text continued to refresh.

...

"Many thoughts raced through your mind, including the suspicions raised by the ’Evil Gods of the Land of Prayer Light,’ who claid that the ’God of Justice’ was harboring a dreadful awakening Will. Could that also be tied to Their contamination by Divinity?"

"Naturally,"

"You only partially trusted the words of the ’God of Justice,’ for Their current behavior was far from that of a madness-stricken entity."

"There were further subtle probes exchanged between you and the ’God of Justice’: whether They were indeed birthed from the Activation of the ’Emblem of Justice,’ or the faint yet revolting aura emanating from you, and so on."

"The ’Secret Cultivator,’ however, seed increasingly unsettled in her seat."

"More than your mutual probing with the ’God of Justice,’ she wanted to locate the ’Taboo Treasure’ hidden in the ’House of Truth’ and took the opportunity to voice her objective."

"’House of Truth’? ’Taboo Treasure’?"

"The Pure White Sun shone faintly as the ’God of Justice’ went montarily silent before Their gentle, amiable voice returned... You’ve learned of it through the ’Mad Creator,’ haven’t you? After all, They too once... Guiding you to the correct path leading to the ’House of Truth’ is no issue. However..."

"You furrowed your brows and glanced at the ’Secret Cultivator,’ noticing how she tensed exactly as expected."

"The ’God of Justice’ paused briefly, then Their tone grew solemn... You’ve seen how the Evil Gods of the ’Land of Prayer Light’ aim to extend their grasp to the ’Extre East Land.’ Though I’ve fought valiantly, I’ve still found myself at a sizeable disadvantage; the Divine Domain is on the brink of falling. Thus, veiled outsider, and you, young lady, before I guide you to the ’House of Truth,’ I hope you can help repel these Evil Gods."
