The next morning, Zion was practicing his swordsmanship in the training hall, improving his skill and experinting with different elents to incorporate into his fighting style.
Magic is broken into two categories, Elental and Arcane. Elental magic is literally any type of magic that uses the elents, while Arcane magic is any type of magic that isn't elental, like healing. There are so things that overlap, like the wood elent having healing properties.
Another overlap is that elents as a whole aren't only used for magic. Martial Artists who use aura can also use the elents, the only difference is that instead of projecting it like magic or having complex spells, the elent is cladded on the body or a weapon. At higher skill levels, an aura user can project the elent, but only in basic forms like a ball, arrow, or an elental sword.
A person would normally be able to use 1 to 3 elents at most. Getting any higher than that would be exceptional. Zion, however, can use every elent. The reason? His cultivation thod. It absorbs all types of elental mana into the body, allowing for it to be used. This ans anyone with his thod can use all the elents.
Currently, Zion is experinting with lightning mana, one of his favorite elents. It bypasses tal armor because of its conductivity, and can even increase one's speed. Not to ntion, it's deadly.
Exhaling deeply, he quickly drew his sword from his sheath, lightning coursing through the blade as it swung through the air. At first, nothing happened, but after a second, lightning bolts rained down on the training dummies all around him.
"Woah, impressive. I bet you're the strongest in your age group." Coming from behind was his eldest sister Reina. She was wearing her lab coat, which was littered with stains, and in her hands was a purple liquid in a jar.
"Thanks, but I doubt that. The world is a big place." He pointed to the jar in her hand. "New experint?" His sister was sothing of a scientist herself.
"Sothing I whipped up from the snake you gave . Think of it as a gift from your big sis." That smile on her face was not sothing Zion liked to see.
"Uhh, thanks but, no thanks." Zion's sisters are way older than him. Reina is 30 while Hanna is 25. As the youngest, by a considerable amount, they each used him for their own tests and experints, or even training dummies. He's been on the receiving end of their shit for so long that he knew when sothing was fishy.
"Oh co on, it's not like I'm having you drink poison or anything, sort of." She giggled
"You want to kill , woman? Hell no, I'm out of here." In the blink of an eye, Zion darted out of the room. Unfortunately, Reina is a Supre Stage Cultivator so he stood no chance when she appeared in front of him, grabbing his mouth and force-feeding him the purple liquid.
"Ughhh-Arghkk-Jouu bwitch! (You bitch)" He managed to get out, but not before consuming the bitter, tangy liquid. "Oh god! Eughhh! What did you make drink?!" He gagged, clutching his throat, falling to his knees while scraping his tongue to get the bitter taste out of his mouth.
"I made this from the core of the snake. It's a potion that will give you permanent resistance to all sorts of poisons and venoms. The effects should be kicking in right about...now."
Zion suddenly felt light-headed, the world around him spun and he felt like he was going to puke. Then he felt the mana in his body suddenly surge uncontrollably and a rising pain appeared in his chest.
"Oh yeah, since you were at the peak of the Advanced stage, the potion, which is basically highly concentrated mana, will force you to break through to the Expert stage. You can thank later little bro. Sweet dreams." She gave him a sinister smile, one that you wouldn't give a sibling who you loved.
Pointing at Reina, Zion tried to get out so words before his mind went blank. "I'm t-telling m-m-mommy, you m-mother fuck-" He passed out, face planting on the floor.
---
"....ke.....p" A voice called out.
"....ake.....up." The voice called again.
"Wake up!" The voice called, slapping the sleeping person on the cheek.
"Ahhhhhhhh! Huh? Wh-What's going on?" Zion asked confused. "And why does my nose hurt?"
"Young Master! You start school today, you're going to be late!" Lacey called out in concern
"Huh? Lacey, I start school tomorrow. Fuck my body is on fire. I'm going to beat the shit out of that bitch!" Zion got out of his bed, removed his sweaty clothes, and went to his bathroom to clean himself.
"Young Master, that was yesterday. You've been sleeping for a whole day."
"The fuck? Ughh! My plans! I'm really going to beat the shit out of Reina. Here, take this." Opening his storage ring, Zion handed Lacey a large book containing information about science, technology, infrastructure, mathematics, and more from his past life.
When he first awoke in this world, he tried to see if he had so sort of cheat code like a system or status window, but to his own detrint, he didn't. However, what he later found out was that the knowledge of human history was cramd in his brain like a filing cabinet.
He could access the knowledge but couldn't rember it unless he learned it and that wasn't as simple as it seed. He basically has Googol in his head. Everything in the book was what Zion had written down for the scientists, engineers, and other workers under him to learn.
"Everything in this book will help with our plans. Tell Rebecca to prioritize this and make, and put all projects on pause or give it to the assistants. From the mont I leave the house, Operation Barking Dog will comnce." Rebecca was his lead scientist and engineer. He chose her because she's a dwarf.
"I never understood why you called your mission to kill the gods, operation barking dog," Zaleena chuckled, walking into his room.
"Because, MOM, once the gods realize what I'll be doing to them, they'll start going crazy, yapping their mouths off "You lowly mortal" "I'm a god" bla bla bla. Barking like a dog. And the word "dog" is "god" reversed so I thought it was fitting."
Both won laughed at his dumb but interesting reasoning.
