C36 – Profound God Heaven Skill!
Chu Yangxiang finally uncovered several remarkable traits of the enigmatic Little Tortoise. It had an enormous appetite, once consuming ten kilograms of Iron Back Tortoise at in a single sitting. It appeared and disappeared without leaving any trace. Whenever he began his cultivation, the Little Tortoise would be right by his side, seemingly absorbing the energy. It also appeared to understand human language and showed a certain disdain for the martial skills he practiced.
Chu Yangxiang grew increasingly fond of the Little Tortoise. Aside from his cultivation and the occasional thrashing by the Heavenly Martial Big Stick, playing with the Little Tortoise brought him imnse joy.
Ti flew, and half a month had passed. During this period, the Black Panther Profound Warrior Group faced severe hardships at The Top Of Xuanwu. They were relentlessly attacked by Tortoise Demonic Beasts in the lake and wolf Demonic Beasts that road the mountains.
Aside from the three leaders, the rest of the Black Panther Profound Warrior Group mbers who had ventured to The Top Of Xuanwu perished. A horde of Tortoise Demonic Beasts and Wolf Demonic Beasts surged from the mountain pass, overwhelming and decimating over half of the group. From the original two hundred and sixty mbers that Black Panther had brought, only about a hundred survived, returning to their camp in defeat and frustration.
Black Panther, seething with rage, commanded two leaders to station twenty Profound Warriors at the entrance of Hyphosis Mountain. Their orders were clear: if they spotted Chu Yangxiang, they were to eliminate him imdiately. A thunderous noise echoed as the whole cave trembled.
“You dare to call an old tortoise? I am the noble Heaven-martial Godly Tortoise, the sovereign of my kind.”
Chu Yangxiang’s heart skipped a beat. As the palm descended, he cried out, “Heaven Martial, stop, don’t crush him!”
The Little Gold Tortoise then slowly poked its head out, appraising Heaven Martial with what appeared to be a smirk. “You don’t have the slightest air of a sage, yet you claim to be a king. Let’s depart, Master.”
Chu Yangxiang was astounded. He feared his palm strike might carry the force of Myriad Kilo Power, yet the Little Gold Tortoise remained completely unscathed. What kind of anomaly was it?
They advanced a hundred yards to a small pool shimring with sparkling green and yellow lights within the cavern.
Approaching the eight-foot-wide pool, Chu Yangxiang observed at its bottom a green pearl and a yellow pearl reflecting off one another, their radiant glow illuminating the entire pond.
Within the green pearl, sothing serpentine weaved and twisted, while inside the yellow pearl, a tiny golden tortoise ambled about.
The tortoise and snake encased within the fist-sized pearls were incredibly lifelike, as if they were truly swimming creatures.
Tianwu gazed at the two pearls with eyes brimming with excitent. “Chu Yangxiang, quickly take out the two pearls and feed them to the Nine Horns Xuanwu Cauldron. Then you’ll be able to unlock more of its functions. Afterward, you can start practicing the Profound God Heaven Skill to cultivate Profound Qi.”
“The transformation of the Nine Horns Xuanwu Cauldron could even provide you with opportunities for rapid advancent.”
The Gold Tortoise looked up at the Heaven-martial Godly Tortoise hovering in the sky and spoke with a sneer, “I found this treasure for my master. What exactly are you gloating about?”
Hearing the Little Gold Tortoise’s words, the Heaven-martial Godly Tortoise had no response.

Chu Yangxiang plunged into the depths of the pond and soon discovered that the two pearls were indeed covered. He reached out, touching the soft cover, which seed pliable enough to stretch and allow him to retrieve the pearls with ease.
As Chu Yangxiang’s arm neared the cover, the eyes of the tortoise and snake inside flickered with panic. They resembled animals on the verge of being captured, their expressions one of sheer terror.
A curious look crossed the Little Gold Tortoise’s face. It recognized the pearls as valuable treasures, yet despite all its efforts, it couldn’t break through the cover. But as soon as its master approached, the creatures within the pearls beca frantic, suggesting that its master was indeed their bane.
The eyes of the Heaven-martial Godly Tortoise reflected a grave intensity as the Nine Horns Xuanwu Cauldron materialized above the surface of the pond.
