A starving cal is still larger than a horse. Even though the Dream Demon was now extrely weak, she was still on a different level compared to Haywood before he received the "Demon God Command."

She erged from the nearly insane aftermath.

Mika fired another shot, and she turned into mist to dodge it just in ti.

An intense field of light separated them. If she were at full strength, she could have crossed it effortlessly, no matter how wide it was. But now, she was too weak.

All she could do was continuously dodge Mika’s bullets.

Both Blue Crystals had been used up; Mika only had one left reloaded. He didn’t dare to shoot anymore.

A human and a demon, facing off.

Mika was palpably nervous, his taut nerves still not relaxing.

And Dream Demon Carrie, being so harshly ravaged like she never had been before.

This uncommunicative monster finally spoke.

"Who are you?"

Her voice, similar to Haywood’s, had an echo, sowhat hollow and illusory, but feminized.

She was far from being an ignorant newcor like Haywood; she’d been wandering the Western Continent for quite so ti.

"Mulong Royal Knight," Mika brazenly declared, even though Su Yizhana had said it as a joke.

After his previous failures, he didn’t believe this demoness was a proper lady to reason with. Now, how could he possibly escape?

Wait...

Within arm’s reach was that enigmatic book with a black gemstone and chanical devices on its cover; up close, it had writhing head patterns, seemingly alive.

What could be recorded inside? The Dark Demon Scripture? The commander said it could drag people into the Annihilation Domain or be used to cast dreadful curse contracts.

"Does such a vulgar and cowardly Royal Knight exist? How many have you actually bedded?" Carrie showed no sha in her nakedness, strutting about proudly with her high, alluring curves and swaying tail, walking as if she were in a military base.

"Do you rember the number of slices of bread you’ve eaten?" Mika already made up his mind.

"Let guess, you think you can survive till nightfall, at least until this bright field of light vanishes. But that’s not the case. You don’t need to wait for the sun to sink below the horizon. In a little over an hour, the angle of light will shift, and I can get around and slaughter you. Look around, many who were like you are trapped here." Carrie licked her pink, elongated tongue, her smooth, flawless dark gray skin exuding an extre allure.

"You filthy, shaless bitch, playing innocent?" Mika knew pleading was useless. With a heavy heart, he picked up the so-called Dark Demon Scripture.

But...

The book was bizarrely weightless, not even as heavy as a feather. But it felt unnaturally light, like it existed in another dinsion, as Mika held it.

Yet Carrie was nonchalant. Many adventurers had co for this book over the years; they didn’t even need her to kill them—they buried themselves.

"I’d advise you not to open it. A mortal’s mind can’t bear its contents. Opening that book, there are two possible outcos, both disastrous for you. Instead, think about pleasing . I’m quite interested in you, human... You’ll never bore ."

This recent encounter was still predominantly within the realm of consciousness. Carrie eyed Mika’s lower half greedily; a tattoo on his abdon facing her was emitting a purplish-red glow.

Mika’s eyelid twitched; he’d stumbled upon a peril unseen for ages, surpassing the heroic-level adventurer Nishi. How could she be so unapologetically sensual while completely undressed? Damn, she was too erotic.

"At worst, I’ll die. What’s there to talk about?"

Mika didn’t regret pursuing her from the Kelor Highlands, even if it led to this ss. Given another chance, he’d do it again.

"Better think it through, death is the best outco. You might get violated into madness by grotesque void creatures in the Annihilation Domain." Carrie laughed playfully.

Mika took a deep breath, "A john is always a john, just as much as I am. If this is the only way I can fulfill my knightly duty and return to the Mulong Front, so be it."

Having lived for centuries, Carrie was taken aback. From a demon’s aesthetic perspective, his words were overwhelmingly cool.

"Alright, I’ll give you a chance to live. I’ll possess you, you take out of this wasteland into a major city, and then I’ll set you free. How about it?"

Carrie proposed.

She could handle the loneliness. Waiting here indefinitely didn’t matter; her task was to guard the Dark Demon Scripture until the Eternal Sect ca for it.

The last High Priest who ca for it got greedy, wanting to keep the Dark Demon Scripture for himself despite her warnings; he eventually died here.

For a High-level Demon, three hundred years was neither too long nor too short. In hibernation, it passed like the blink of an eye.

But there seed to be so turmoil within the Eternal Sect. Had humanity regained power, leading to her being forgotten here? No one had co for her in a long ti.

ntally, she could wait it out, but her Annihilation Energy was depleting, making her weaker than even low-level demons. She had to find a way to leave, bringing the Dark Demon Scripture with her.

"Do you think I’d believe you?"

Mika didn’t want to endure another paralyzing encounter, fearing she might fully take control of his body. As Liszt put it, she could possess him.

"Do you think you have a choice? Voluntary compliance and coercion are different things. If you resist, I’ll ravish you for a day and night until you lose all capability, then slice your manhood into a hundred pieces for soup and still possess you."

Her words were becoming wet with excitent,

as Mika watched her naked form.

"You’ve told the benefits, what about the downsides?"

Mika wasn’t easily persuaded, stubborn as a mule.

Seeing his obstinacy, Carrie fell silent, retreating into the shadows of the natural stone cave to rest, waiting for the light to gradually shift to pressure Mika psychologically.

Possessing him wasn’t simple; she needed a target with strong spiritual power to bear her. Otherwise, losing control after his mind broke would be problematic. Strong-willed individuals were hard to control, requiring full cooperation.

Ti passed, and Mika grew increasingly uneasy. Would his well-trained Piling Holy Body fall here today?

Half an hour passed.

During that ti, the demon made no sound, the silence was terrifying.

Mika was examining the chanisms on the Dark Demon Scripture’s cover. They weren’t encrypted; their sole purpose was to ensure careful handling, a security asure to avoid mishaps, requiring ntal preparation.

Decoding it wasn’t difficult.

Just one final twist of the gear, and the Dark Demon Scripture would be fully unlocked.

"Ti’s almost up,"

Carrie’s voice suddenly broke the cave’s silence.

"I couldn’t care less,"

Mika twisted the final gear, a crisp click of the chanism opening.

"Wait!"

Carrie tried to stop him, thinking she had given him a chance. Why did he still do this? But it was too late.

Mika opened the Dark Demon Scripture directly.
