Inside the Black Sail Inn.

The atmosphere was extrely terrifying.

"Chop him, Brother Hai won’t mind, to kill one is sin, to slaughter thousands is might, to slaughter nine million, that is the might among mights."

Rein scolded Fafna, insisting she needed to get a feel for killing; if the girl couldn’t even kill a fish, how would she ever kill soone?

anwhile, Brother Hai was getting prickly; he had blurted out sothing explosive just now, claiming that he was now, for the ti being, an Undying Body.

"It’s no problem for ."

Haywood let Fafna chop and stab him with the Special Large Sword as she pleased, without holding back.

Fafna held the Special Large Sword but couldn’t bring herself to do it.

"Uncle Haywood is so nice, I don’t want to chop him." Fafna said with a mournful face and then started repeating Ox’s words, "Killing is no ga!"

Ox remained silent. Is this what I taught you?

Caroso was deeply shocked by the educational thods of Heaven Port, but there was no helping it—they didn’t seem to treat Fafna as a killing tool but were raising a little pirate.

Before Liszt returned, Caroso had no peace of mind—tonight was critical.

If Liszt returned defeated, then Fafna... would have to be taken away by the Holy Spirit Church.

You, Liszt, lack the strength.

"That Uncle Haywood is wicked, might summon a Demon God, and the world will all go to hell, all won will be taken away to beco their Star Crossbows, and the n, may not escape either."

Mika had been ordered not to solicit prostitutes tonight because there was important business to discuss upon Liszt’s return, regardless of success or failure. The core team had to gather.

Ox’s brow was furrowed. These people were speaking absurdities, and besides, Haywood was a thousand tis more honorable than you.

Tonight was even livelier than a family reunion night; the adventurers Aran had brought back, Liszt’s wife, they were all here.

"What’s a Star Crossbow?"

Fafna asked, sowhat bewildered, a stark contrast to the strength of Leon More, who sewed up monsters.

Snap!

A knife was thrust onto the table in front of Mika, startling him.

"Don’t use that kind of language in front of her again."

Goria said coldly.

"I surrender, okay?"

Mika raised his hands high.

Dreya was also deeply concerned; she ca down from the upstairs room to see if Liszt had returned.

Upon her arrival.

Rein and Haywood instantly behaved themselves, no longer playing the "try your courage" chopping ga. They sat by the bar, pretending to drink and chat, awkwardly talking about the past with Claude.

Claude, in fact, was not too interested. After so deep contemplation, he decided the wedding on January 7th did not need to be a grand affair. If it were in Aran, it had to be grand, but on this broken island, there was no need to show off, considering the special circumstances and security concerns. Furthermore... through Liszt’s various thods, it was clear that he was highly cunning, and it might not be wise to make a big display out of the wedding.

However, the coffee shop owner expressed her disagreent; after all, it was a once-in-a-lifeti event. She had been the fiancée of a Baron, and for complicated reasons, she longed for a beautiful wedding.

Rein forced a conversation about Ox getting on the ship.

Like Ox and Morison, they were among the later arrivals aboard. Ox joined over two years ago, Morison over a year ago.

"The Second Officer...

is soone with a deep-seated grievance..."

Rein was just getting started.

"No one’s interested in listening."

Ox told him to shut up; he was a man with a clear plan, knowing exactly when he would earn how much, and when to do each stage’s work. The First Tier was already complete.

Now they were moving onto the Second Stage of the strategy to return to the Mirror Sea.

"I’m interested though!"

Weber had commissioned the island’s blacksmith to craft a set of Super Heavy Armor that fit him well. He hadn’t been burdened recently and was feeling agitated, almost as if he were a masochist.

Gawain was worried about Lu’s safety, while Swan said that Lu was an excellent companion for a Thief; he took her along on the mission, so she should be fine, right?

"Uh... It’s been so long since he’s co back; could Liszt have been killed by Doringger?"

Rein calculated the ti, which felt a bit too long. He was always prepared for the worst—destined to be a pitiful ghost lingering on the brink of life and death, a casualty in the streets, a body abandoned to the wilderness.

Ox’s fists were clenched tight, rattled by this rabid madness—no holiday greetings to be had. He moved to the window to check for any incoming ravens.

Just the old thod.

If there was an ergency, Fen’s ravens would return to the inn, summoning everyone to co to the rescue.

However, no ravens were in sight; instead, there was Liszt, pure white in the snow, flourishing a silver-plated cane, and out of sheer boredom, flicking at the snow on the ground.

Although Ox kept a poker face, the joy slightly betrayed his grip. Liszt’s movents were mysterious, but seeing him so nonchalant ant he must have succeeded.

"Wolman, that thing you said about, what was it, ’mutual fostering of enemies to enhance one’s own standing’..."

Ox inquired.

"Mutual fostering of enemies to enhance one’s own standing, a macroscopic tripartite stability. From here, aiming for Boss’s position."

Wolman was arm-wrestling Fafna, and the cracks were already forming on the bartender’s glass; the Dark Elf signboard girl imdiately called a halt.

Before long.

Liszt returned, and so did Shadi.

Both had faces like mourners.

Everyone had a bad feeling—damn it, ti to pack up and flee!

Rein thought of grabbing his share and running, finding a vessel to escape to sea imdiately.

"What happened?"

Goria inquired.

Dreya’s expression was incredulous; she could clearly see through Liszt’s act.

Ox felt a murderous urge—those two were really about to ss things up.

"The First Officer and Brother Sha, they both died at the eting!"

Shadi took a deep breath, and spoke gravely.

"What!"

Wolman could hardly believe it—those two n, if they were to die, should have t their demise on a grand stage, not in so peripheral place in the East Sea, overrun by banditry.

Before long.

Fen and Morison ca upstairs, and seeing everyone’s expressions, they were all baffled.

"Huh, not dead yet, still not dead."

Liszt struck a Boss-like pose, straightening his cufflinks and collar, chin lifted slightly, flinging aside one tail of his tailcoat, and taking a seat on the bar stool, gesturing for the signboard girl to serve him a drink.

"So that ans..."

Rein observed Liszt’s suprely punchable deanor, hands cradling his head, realization hitting him— "Brilliant! Brilliant!"

A weight was lifted off everyone’s hearts.

Mika was already envisioning himself as the boss of all brothels in the Inner City CBD, demanding favors left and right—wasn’t that like ascending to Heaven?

Mo Yutong, of course, was present that evening. Liszt had told her that if everything went well tonight, they would establish a company right away, completely secure. Seeing Liszt return, her previously tense spirit relaxed; with townsfolk nearby, she wouldn’t feel the loneliness and isolation of before.

Caroso reflected for a mont. He had followed Liszt all the way from Wind Breath Canyon to Heaven Port, witnessing his journey—quite an eye-opening experience.

Considering there was nothing more for him to do, he returned to his room to rest. All would proceed as planned, and before long, high-ranking officials from the Holy Spirit Church would arrive to discern the true identity of Fafna, at which point they could also discuss the Stone Tablet Fragnts. Relying solely on himself, it might take another hundred years to collect them all.

"Comfortable now."

Wolman flicked his tongue, thinking that reclaiming the Great Wetland was another step closer, wasn’t it?

"I know you all are anxious, but let’s not be hasty; let’s wait for Swan. Once he’s back, we’ll discuss the company formation. Let’s put it this way, here in Heaven Port, my word carries weight."

It wasn’t easy convincing the core mbers to invest all their money into shares; they certainly wouldn’t be happy about investing eighty percent.

Because they didn’t know if they could really pull it off.

Now the rhetoric changed: not only could they make it, they wished to soar into the skies and beco Immortals, as if they crooned to be Emperor.

Liszt leaned back tactically—what’s this about being the Boss of Heaven Port?
