Liszt scrutinized redith intently, as though he wanted to see right through her.

He mulled over in his mind, with her wielding a huge axe and a Riding Spear, she must surely be the more aggressive party, a picture already forming in his head.

When she spent the night with Goria, this raven-haired woman would most likely be donning the "Emperor of Ro."

Liszt swallowed hard, as if standing on the Prague square at dusk, tossing wishes into the fountain, with pigeons silhouetted against the setting sun.

Liszt hardened, his fist.

How he wished he could join in!

redith detected Liszt’s subtle facial expressions and felt extrely displeased, concerned for Goria’s safety.

As she carefully replayed his words, Liszt actually knew that Goria did not like n. Could the truth be as he described? Goria was fine right now.

But it was all just what he had claid. Even if she didn’t believe it, now a captive, she had no way to verify the truth.

A plan flashed across Liszt’s eyes. Since they were all brothers now, there was no need to keep her bound.

Judging by the woman’s frenzied behavior earlier, she truly was in love.

It ant he had completed the preparatory mission ahead of schedule, having already escorted her lover to Heaven Port.

"Swan, untie her," Liszt said calmly. "It’s uncomfortable for her to be bound like this."

"Are you sure?"

Swan was in disbelief. This woman, once unleashed, could be terrifying—a swing of her axe could ruin a wall, only easily resolved by Morison.

Liszt nodded.

While Swan didn’t understand the rationale, he still cut through the hemp ropes binding redith with his knife; two swift slashes and redith was free to move.

"It’s a sha the doctor is out; otherwise, he could apply so ointnt to your wrists and ankles."

Looking at the blood-red marks on redith’s limbs, Liszt was sowhat at a loss for words. Swan had absolutely no idea about being gentle with won; the knots were as tight as they were deadly, and only a knife could cut through them.

"What are you trying to do?"

redith looked towards Gawain and Weber, who lay in bed as invalids, no longer of any use—even with the bonds loosened, they took no rash action. This man actually let her go, without fearing she might escape.

"Goria is in a very safe place."

Liszt wasn’t afraid of her leaving; he held Goria’s lover in his grip. He had talked about Goria and Caroso’s flight but modified the details about the escort; one couldn’t reveal everything, for he had only t them by earning a commission.

"In short, she’s as comfortable as she can be. Just help with one thing, like I just ntioned, and I will take you to her. Fair, isn’t it?"

Liszt tried to clarify the current situation.

Her lover had cheated with his wife—weren’t they actually forming a league of avengers? The two of them had to take fierce revenge!

redith was silent for a while, just about to speak.

Liszt pulled out his trump card.

Back in Londen City, both Caroso and Goria had a Compass each, devices that could recalibrate to other targets.

One of which was an essential accessory for Goria.

They had already searched the trio, who collectively had a little over twenty Golden Dragons, and then only letters and Compasses remained.

Now Liszt finally understood the aning of the symbols engraved on Goria’s Compass; it seed it was a couple’s token between the two lovebirds.

Before departing from Heaven Port, Liszt had asked for them, to facilitate the mission.

At this mont, Liszt presented Goria’s Compass to redith, to show that his words were genuine.

She took the Compass and scrutinized it carefully; it indeed belonged to Goria, unmistakably.

But to help them rob a train? What a joke—she would beco a grievous criminal, forced to live in exile.

Of course, Liszt knew what redith was thinking.

"Goria had it good, but only in terms of... living conditions," he said. "The mission she was on before was very dangerous—like committing a major cri. She might never return to Aran for the rest of her life. I often see her lost in thought, with that unfocused look in her eyes, you know? I ask her if she has sothing on her mind, and she won’t say. After all that, she’s probably thinking about you."

Liszt was fabricating non-existent events, that scum. Barely a few days at Heaven Port, he’d gotten involved with his own wife? Impossible.

He had to get revenge on Goria, have a firm exchange with his ex-girlfriend!

Sure enough.

redith was sowhat shaken, but she was still hesitating.

Just one step away from the finish line.

Liszt only made her think she had a choice when, in reality, she did not.

"You are an old friend of Goria’s, and killing you would be immoral. If you don’t want to help, that’s fine—you can leave. The rest, however, aren’t so lucky. After all, we are pirates. A lack of reaction when attacked would not bode well for as their Captain."

Liszt pointed to Gawain and Weber on the bed, speaking with an undertone of significance.

This series of maneuvers.

Everyone in Swan’s party was dumbfounded. No wonder Fen held such a high opinion of Liszt; the man was horrifyingly cunning. He was the biggest hypocrite, always ntioning the ’mud’ but he himself was the muddiest!

redith had no real choice.

"You need to guarantee a deadline. Even if I help you, who knows how long before you take to see Goria?"

She said thus.

Liszt’s face was like a still well, applying his He Transmutes Freedom thod, his way of charming people—at this point, he had already secured ninety percent.

"Before the end of the year. It’s already the end of the Fourteenth Month, no more than two months. I’ve included the travel ti. It’s up to you. Swan can leave this instant. These two invalids aren’t going anywhere, and Brother Sha can manage by himself."

Liszt stated this.

Morison was still tinkering with Lu, breaking off a piece of fruit and throwing it into a glass to see if she’d eat it, treating her as if she were an animal. Lu paid him no mind at all.

"Fine, I’ll help you, but first let Lu go. She’s not an animal,"

redith stated coldly.

"She’s too short. If she runs, no one will notice, and she’s overheard our conversation. I trust you, as an acquaintance of Goria’s, not to blabber about it, but I can’t say the sa for her."

Liszt pressed on the glass, showing no intention of releasing her.

redith furrowed her brows. This person had such sinister intentions; did he intend to drag all of us into this ss to do his bidding?

Liszt smiled awkwardly, his expression implying that she was in the know.

A battle of wits required no words; it was already settled in the void.

Upon careful consideration, redith found no other option. It was better than all three of them dying here and now, especially since Weber couldn’t get out of bed for at least twenty days.

"She won’t leave. If she does run, then you can kill . After all, the man with the disfigured face beside you is fully capable."

She said icily.

Lu, trapped under the glass, bit her lower lip.

"Alright, that’s settled."

Liszt imdiately lifted the glass and set Lu free.

The Elf promptly flew onto redith’s shoulder, and redith continued to gently scratch her chin, reassuring her.

"We still have to scout out the art exhibition tomorrow, find out where it’s being held, and check the place beforehand. Everyone should rest up. You two ladies should also retire early."

Liszt left with Swan and Morison, closing the door behind them as they exited the room.

Of course, he didn’t really leave. It was quite peculiar to establish cooperation and then keep surveillance.

Tonight, Swan would be inconvenienced—watching for the first half of the night, then calling a few pirates to take turns keeping an eye out for the rest.

The night passed.

And thus it beca a full success.

Swan took a deep breath, and with that, it beca an artform.
