"Hard work there, Captain."

Old Wei was wiping a glass, always adorned with a light, breezy smile.

"Not ruthless enough, how can one deserve such a picturesque view? When you co back, you’ll have to stand up for ."

There’s a god in the store but no way to use him, Liszt was quite vexed. What level is the Gureg Royal Knight Order? It’s like a fierce man appointed by the sovereign itself. Although from the fallen dynasty of Gureg, this tavern hasn’t had any troubles for years, not to ntion troublemakers inside, even those fighting outside had to change places out of respect.

"Ah, age isn’t on my side anymore, I just need to guard this little place."

Old Wei gently declined with a laugh.

"Is that so? Then when the ti cos, I’ll throw a banquet to lure them here, and you must make a move."

Liszt half-joked.

"I thank you for that."

Old Wei was non-committal.

Liszt had just left the tavern and not gone far when he was stopped by a woman.

He recognized her, one of Shadi’s girlfriends, who also sporadically visited here, owning a tavern in the outer city with her wheat-colored skin.

"What do you want..."

Liszt didn’t get to finish.

A black-haired woman had also arrived at the tavern’s door. The two won locked eyes, instantly creating a palpable tension, the murderous intent in their gazes almost enough to shred Liszt, who stood between them.

Without a word, the two won stood opposed as fire and water. A few seconds later, both assud fighting stances, evidently trained.

One twisted her neck, causing crisp cracking sounds, stepping back in dodging maneuvers. The other clenched her fists, cracking them like popping beans, and bent her legs, also trained in combat.

"That." Liszt scratched his head, conjecturing that they might be here to persuade him to let Shadi disembark—but the rules were ironclad, no one could escape. "Shadi is inside, go talk to him; I’m out."

Liszt quickly made his escape.

It wasn’t alti yet, so he went to Dreya’s house to fetch sothing, and also snagged a al. Her maids each had unique skills, both academically talented and culinarily skilled.

Though they weren’t on par with Fen and Archer, who could rank even in the court, their standards were still impressive.

He reached the dense forest east of the city. The sunlight was dim here, with the thick branches and leaves completely obscuring it.

"Is it a guest?"

"Yes."

Always guarding the door, two clean, odorless sturdy n spoke chanically, their eyes lacking focus but their pupils faintly blood-red, fully controlled by Dreya.

Liszt entered this Gothic-style black-painted tower aiming to go upstairs to find Dreya in their usual second-floor study, but he slled food from the kitchen on the first floor and decided to check out the al first.

The simring beef didn’t draw Liszt’s attention, instead, a figure with green hair captivated him.

Goria, as an adventurer used to camp and cook in places filled with Magic Beasts, was naturally good at cooking, a handy skill to capture a woman’s heart through her stomach.

She humd a Western Continent ballad called "Red Knight," oblivious that her host was behind her, feeling rather pleased.

Liszt swallowed, and not because of the beef stew’s aroma.

This guy... actually wearing an apron over clothes that had changed, the yarn blouse faintly transparent, completely different from her usual attire.

Without the armor, her delicate figure was much more graceful than imagined.

Liszt clenched his fist, hard.

Hmm?

Wait, does that an Goria spent the night at his wife Dreya’s house? Sneaky Dreya, hiding a beauty in the golden house, huh? Let hide!

"What are you doing in my kitchen, using my stove?"

Liszt howled, startling Goria who was cooking. She hurriedly turned around, accidentally knocking a spoon off the counter with a clang.

Goria’s beautiful eyes widened, clearly feeling guilty as she didn’t know how to respond.

"Haha, caught you now, didn’t I?"

Since Dreya’s heart wasn’t in sync with her words, and she couldn’t remain faithful, he felt free to take matters into his own hands.

But he still needed physical evidence, in case Dreya later argued that Goria was straight—he wouldn’t have anything on her then.

Goria ignored even the likes of Shadi; his "Immortal Emperor Secret Technique" had no effect on her. Still, she claid she wasn’t into won?

"It’s not what you think."

Goria tried to find an excuse, but Liszt quickly walked up and grabbed her wrist, then began rolling up her sleeve.

"What are you doing?"

Goria felt his rough hand move up her arm; he quickly rolled up the sleeve on her other arm as well and kept touching while staring intently.

Hmm?

Liszt tried to find a bite mark but found none. How could there be no bite marks when that woman did nothing but bite and chew?

Undeterred, he continued, his sinful hand now reaching toward Goria’s neckline, undoing a button.

"Are you insane?" Goria snapped sharply, swatting Liszt’s hand away, and quickly covering her chest, "Keep your hands to yourself, or I... I’ll kill you."

Goria wasn’t injured now; her Heroic Level strength wasn’t just for show.

"This is impossible. Tell honestly, what happened last night?"

Today, Liszt was determined to get to the bottom of it. Dreya couldn’t leave him, but after doing sothing deceitful, she would be at his rcy.

Dreya had heard the noise of pots and pans hitting the floor from upstairs, and dressed in a white silk robe she descended the curvilinear staircase barefoot.

"What’s all this noise so early in the morning?"

Dreya crossed her arms, a book pinched between her fingers, yawning sleepily, her crimson eyelashes fluttering.

"How dare you? Bringing a woman over for the night. Didn’t you say you were completely devoted to ?"

Liszt seized this opportunity. Since you’ve played around, I might as well have my harem, right?

"When have I not spent the night with won? The maids in my house are also Blood Slaves; showing them so affection is only right." Dreya defended Goria, patting her head. "This one is my prospective Blood Slave. We’re all won here. I’ve been true to you."

Liszt was left speechless by her retort. So, spending the night with won doesn’t count as spending the night? Are you looking for loopholes here?

I thought my loophole of a godless clergy not counting as marriage was bad enough, but you’re even worse?

You’re thinking of having a harem too, are you?

Liszt looked at a maid who was doing housework nearby, her neck and arms bearing bite marks. He’d already started, damn it!

A slight smile crept onto Goria’s face, but she quickly coughed, pretending nothing had happened.

Liszt was dumbfounded. Was Dreya really that responsible? There was completely no instance of her saying, "Honey, say sothing."

"Damn!" Liszt lost his temper, his anger rising, "Fine, if she’s your Blood Slave, then that ans she is communal property right? Goria is... my Blood Slave as well."

Goria remained silent. What peak competition?

But Dreya was calm as ever. "You’re not even from the Blood Clan, where did you get a Blood Slave from?"

"Liszt, don’t think I don’t know what you’re scheming." Dreya grabbed Liszt by the collar, "You were supposed to go to Aran, and I’ve already got Goria’s consent."

Goria looked bewildered. What consent?

"As long as you return alive, you can have her, three, clear, days."

She whispered seductively into Liszt’s ear, one word at a ti.
