After contacting her superiors through a communication stone! Rena again looked at Black.
"Um.. Sir! Are you perhaps.. also here to participate in the.. Mortal Tournant!~ "
Black blinked- confused. He looked at Rena and was about ask what did she an; when he suddenly rembered.
But then he frowned.
"Wasn’t there also a Tournant happening in the western part of the City? Are there two tournant happening simultaneously? But how can that be possible."
Black looked at Elly. "Didn’t you tell that there was only one Arena in whole of the Greenwood City Elly."
"S-Sir!~ " However before Elly could respond Rena spoke.
"Hmm. Yes! Receptionist Rena." Black again focused his gaze on her.
"It is indeed true. There is only one Arena in the Greenwood City! In fact all the Eight Main Cities have only one Arena in them!~ "
"And I don’t know where you heard it or you might have even misheard it. As there is no Arena in the western part of the city nor is there any tournant happening there."
"And the Mortal Tournant I’m talking about is more like an event that happens every few months after the new recruitnts of the Academy!~ "
"However in this particular event even outsiders could participate! It was decided such by the higher-ups of the Academy!~ "
"To both give the students in the Academy a challenge! Pick out the weeds! And recruit any promising individual into the Academy!~ "
"As there is always a few unknown individuals who appears in these sort of tournants that have the talent to even give the geniuses of the Academy a run for there money!~ "
"All in all! There are many reasons; why the tournant allows outside participation. In any case! It would began in a few hours. So if you’d like you can still participate. Sir!~ "

Zephyr’s lips curled. "Rena. Right! That was your na. Yes! Can you tell us more about this tournant!~ "
"Like what kind of tournant is it! It’s rewards! Participation requirents! Winning conditions and other stuff!~ "
Rena pursed her lips. "Please give a minute!~ " She requested! Zephyr nodded.
anwhile Black looked at Zephyr. "Are you interested in this tournant?" His brows raised.
"No. I’m not." She shook her head.
"Even if the rewards were of the highest mortal rank. I still wouldn’t be interested in it! I’m just interested because I want you to participate!~ "
"!?" Black repeated. "But why though? Is there any specific reason why you’ve such an idea."
"I want to see you in a duel with those geniuses of the Academy! It would be quiet an entertaining sight to see you dominating them! Fufufu!~ "
Black beca dumbfounded. "Isn’t that kinda stupid though. You do know that it’s a Mortal Tournant."
"aning there can also be rank nine individuals in this tournant. aning it would be I who would get suppressed and wiped out instead of the other way around."
"Well — if there indeed are rank nine individuals then you don’t have to participate! It’s as simple as that. Idiot!~ "
Black simply shook his head with an exasperated look! It was a good thing that no one heard them as they talked through there soul bond.
Nevertheless after another minute!
Rena was done going through all the information. She again focused on Black and Zephyr.
"Although I don’t know what type of tournant this is as that is sothing that the participants will only be inford about at the start of the tournant itself."
"However anyone in or below rank eight can participate in this tournant. And it will be heald in a separate space where the participants will be teleported to and the spectators will be able to watch."
"As for the reward. They include a peak rank nine artifact of the winners choice! A 1000 rank nine magistones! And an elixir made from the essence of a rank nine natural resource! A lightening elent resource."
"These are the rewards for the one; who wins the tournant but there are also other reward for people who cos in second or below places!~ "
anwhile as Rena continued her explanation!
Black’s eyes suddenly landed on sothing behind her! It was a small-ball of red light embedded on the pillar wall!
It flickered in systematic intervals! Then suddenly it turned from red to blue! And at the sa ti the wall opened!
From which ca out a man- an Elvish man. However Black’s mind wasn’t on him rather it was on the thing the man ca out of.
’A lift- what the hell, this massive pillar also works as a lift.’
"Sir. Are you the custor who wanted to book a no-sharing VIP room." The Elvish man asked politely.
He had blonde hair and blue eyes! And he was also dressed in a full-black suit just like Rena! His na was Eldric Greenwalker.
Black ca out of his thoughts and looked at Eldric Greenwalker. "Yes. I’m." He nodded in affirmation.
Eldric too nodded and promptly proceeded to properly complete the transaction. In a minute he was done and after collecting the paynt.
"Your VIP room has been successfully booked! Sir." Eldric Greenwalker smiled politely and handed Black a dark-green card.
"This card is both the key to your private room and a guide that would take you to your room! You just have to insert your magical energy into it and it would do the rest on its own."
"And it also carries a map of the Arena! So you can look it up later if you want. Thank you for your patronage. Sir." He bowed. Seeing her superiors action Rena imdiately followed suit. Bowing.
anwhile. Black put the VIP card in his spatial ring and again looked at the two employees.
"Hm. Can you also inform - when does this Mortal Tournant start and how do I register for this."
Eldric blinked in confusion. "Aren’t you here to watch the tournant! Sir. Wasn’t that the reason why you booked the VIP room."
"I did co to watch but now I want to participate. I guess."
Eldric nodded hesitantly. Anyways his job was only to help the custors and not to pry in there decisions. He looked at his hand-watch.
"It’s 2:15 right now. There is still so ti before the tournant began at 2:50 PM. As for how to participate. For that you don’t have to do anything in particular! Sir."
"Just be present at one of the platform in the Arena at the given ti and from there you will be directly teleported to the separate space."
"And there you will be inford about what kind of tournant this is."
"Alright." Black nodded.
And with Zephyr and Elly moved towards his VIP room!
Soon he was out of the Grand Hall and was calmly walking through the right corridor!.
He had approximately half an hour before the start of the tournant.
And in this ti he was thinking of watching a few duels to pass his ti.
Ti passed and in just about five minutes! He reached his VIP room.
