The shrieking and howling voice made a shiver coursed through there vain’s while a chill crawled up there spine.
Accompanied by goosebumps!
There heads turned in a robotic motion as there quivering gazes imdiately focused on the withering Fla Elf — Leon Winz.
He was on the ground bathed in the pool of his own blood! His eyes clouded but he still scread! He screeched as if suffering in a horrifying nightmare!
His worst nightmare!
And it was indeed correct! Considering Elly wanted this Elf to suffer! Therefore he was suffering.
After currepting his soul it was as easy as breathing for Zephyr to put him under a mind illusion using her Elentary Law of Mind Illusion.
And although she hadn’t created any technique of her own to better realize her Laws potential but no matter how crude her usage was! She was able to compensate for that imperfection by using her higher prowess.
Therefore Leon or rather his mind was indeed suffering from and experiencing the thing he dreaded the most!
His mind was breaking!
His psyche; getting fragnted by the Despair! Horror and Terror he felt from the illusion he was seeing.
anwhile Zephyr looked at Elly with a warm smile! Unperturbed by the screeching and withering flesh on the ground.
"How is it Elly! Do you like his screams? You know I can always make it worse if you want to see him suffer more!~ "
Elly looked at Leon for a few seconds then focused on Zephyr who was walking towards them. Her lips arched up almost imperceptibly.
"No need. You don’t have to waste your ti and energy on this trash!~ "
Zephyr’s smile widened on hearing her response! She could tell that this ti Elly truly said what she felt without hiding her true thoughts.
It was understandable! As Elly had indeed devolved a certain amount of trust in them after seeing what she did!
Enough that her real-self! Her arrogant-self actually surfaced in her words! The mocking tone was a great example of that.

Zephyr blinked!
Her mind disoriented and dizzy! A mont ago wasn’t she just walking calmly and now she saw herself standing in a transparent barrier.
Then she heard Black...
anwhile Black had his eyes wide in bewildernt and denial simultaneously.
He gazed forward.
The flas of the unexpected attack cleared slightly or atleast started dispersing!
Making the empty clearing clear in his vision although very scarcely since the flas still raged and burned with imnse intensity.
And to say the once smooth clearing was in total ruin would be an understatent.
Because even though the attack was controlled enough that it only damaged 20 ters of the empty area were Zephyr had her battle with Leon. And not a single one of the Academy’s student was hard.
But in those twenty ters there was nothing left intact!
The ground was completely scorched and was still burning in molting flas with a five ters deep and wide crater present in the middle of it.
The re heat waves coming out of the flas had already lted the ground and the students that had already distanced themselves while watching the battle!
Now could be seen fleeing for there lives frantically!
No one could understand who launched the attack or why! But it was clear that whoever launched the attack didn’t want to kill them or rather was afraid of killing them.
As for Leon Winz!
The poor Elf was no more! His body had already beco a puddle of blooded guu from the heat of the attack itself.
"Z-Zephyr!!!"
Black whispered in a broken voice! His throat dry!
His body motionless in shock! His soul reeling in denial! His eyes bloodshot as he searched for her frantically!
’Zephyr!!! Zephyr!!! Zephyr!!! Zephyr!!! Zephyr!!! Zephyr!!!’
He had just seen her walking towards him with a smile! Then all of a sudden the whole place was lit up in bright flas with the ground trembling.
Making him dumbfounded and bewildered! Black couldn’t understand anything! He couldn’t process anything!
He didn’t know what happened! Who attacked! He didn’t even care! His mind! Eyes! Soul! His very being!
Everything was solely focused on finding her! Finding Zephyr! If anything happened to her- However before his thoughts could spiral into chaos!
He heard her voice coming from the side...
"B-Black!~ what happened?"
The mont Black registered her voice! He froze.
Then with a gradual movent his head turned and upon seeing Zephyr standing beside him! In a perfectly fine condition and unhard! Though with a confused facial expression.
Black exhaled a long sigh of relief!
His racing heart calming down. Imdiately he hugged her tightly! Kissing her forehead! His arms trembling.
"Haah. I’m glad.. I’m so glad.. "
Even though Zephyr was still clueless about what just happened! Nevertheless she too hugged him back! Burying her face in his chest!
It wasn’t hard for her to understand that she had just been saved from a life threatening danger by one of the three maids.
She didn’t know if it was Luna! Wix or Freya but it didn’t matter either.
The issue was; That soone actually tried to kill her! And that was why Black was so agitated.
She could feel how chaotic his thoughts were and his tumultuous emotions through there soul bond! The good thing was that now they were calming down.
’It couldn’t be another assassination attempt on us. If yes! Then we need to get out of here asap. Black!~ ’ Zephyr communicated through there soul bond.
’No it is not an assassination attempt.. ’
Black responded! Caressing her back! His eyes fixed on the five unknown individuals who just landed on the ground! From the skies.
The molting flas of the attack had died down by now! And the whole of the city square was empty too!
The students were either hovering in the skies or were on top of the building or standing at the multiple enterances of the city square!
Watching everything with attention and anticipation.
anwhile those five unknown individuals landed on the right side of the crater! And there was a gap of about hundred ters between them and Black! Zephyr and Elly.
There gazes locked. "Elly are you alright?" Black asked not looking at her!
"I’m. The barrier protected !~ " Elly responded not questioning how Zephyr suddenly appeared beside them. As even she had her gaze focused on the attackers.
Zephyr also got out of his arms and fixed her attention on them.

And also asked his maids about the rank of the old man who was here to protect the two mbers of the Evergreen Family.
