"However it isn’t the Nightingale Family that you’ve offended Dian. Rather It is that you have angered and pissed."

"I-I.. don’t follow! My Lady." Dian stuttered! His heart shuddering.

"H-How could sothing like that be possible?"

Than he rembered the Vampire Kings daughter examining the mbers of his Assassination Hall briefly.

"Could.. Could it be that the ones who had sinned against your esteed self are.. are mbers of our Hall." He asked with an uncertain voice.

The thirty pseudo-divine’s below who heard him all trembled! And even Eian and Sia had there eyes wide in shock.

anwhile the mbers below straight away distanced themselves from each other! Eying one another with caution.

Considering the ssage was clear! If there is indeed soone among them who is the reason for why this calamity had descended upon them.

Than that soone should better start praying for his or hers life because there leader had made it clear! That he wouldn’t hesitate a second to behead that soone and hand there heads to the Vampire’s to please them.

As Dian certainly can’t have his whole organization be destroyed just like that! It was his pride! The reason for his confidence.

An empire that he had build over the course of thousands of years! He couldn’t have it destroyed just because of so stupid mistakes made by an idiot.

"Hm. Now that I think about it.. You’re absolutely correct Dian. The one who ca after him was indeed a mber of your Hall." Evelynn nodded.

Dian smiled forcefully! Even though he certainly didn’t like the disrespectful way that Evelynn kept addressing him before his siblings and his subordinates but he just had to swallow the insult with his mouth shut because he was weak.

He could only console himself by the fact that this calamity would surely leave after he handed her the mber who had offended her and a few more natural resources in compensation.

And at that ti he wouldn’t have to hear these insult since as a third phase existences even he had his pride.

However before Dian could ask who it was that had offended her! Evelynn continued..

"In any case! You don’t have to worry! Shadow-Vail. As the mber who ca after my disciple to kill him! Has already been captured by and has been tortured by his maids really good."

"Y-Your Disciple!."

"Yes! My disciple." Evelynn nodded. Than she smiled kindly.

"Besides I think your Hall is really praiseworthy for having the daringness to actually accept a kill order on my disciple! Don’t you three thinks so too."

The ntioned three Divine’s shuddered! Even Dian had his façade of calmness broken at this mont.

Understanding that thing weren’t as simple as they seed and that this calamity might actually swallow them whole before leaving.

’Elder brother! Who are these mbers that has invited this disaster on us! Who was mad enough to accept a kill order on this woman’s disciple.’

Sia clenched her fists in a maddening anger but her trembling figure certainly spoke another story! She was genuinely terrified for her life right now.

Nevertheless what could Dian respond with.

He also didn’t know who this retarded mber was either! Just who was so stupid enough to do such a thing.

Than again what could Dian say to that mber too! Who had accepted a kill order on this calamities disciple when he himself was hearing this information for the first ti.

He couldn’t help but curse at his shitty luck. Just a few days ago they had landed such a heaven sent opportunity by accepting to kill a simple mortal.

But what was this?

They haven’t even confird if the assassination was a success or not and they already got a disaster descending upon them out of nowhere.

Dian sighed inwardly! He could only try to defend himself from the Vampire’s wrath by explaining the situation and hope that everything goes well.

He collected his thoughts in seconds! Articulated his words in such a way that put the Vampire’s on a pedestal.

And had himself be portrayed as soone with an inferior status but an understanding party who was willing to pay the price for a mistake that wasn’t there’s.

Well- Atleast that’s how he thought since as an assassination organization it was perfectly normal for them to accept anonymous kill orders.

Besides Dian wouldn’t be going to such lengths if he was just stronger than the Vampire Kings daughter!

Heck- He wasn’t even as strong as the Vampire King.

"My Lady! We didn’t know that you had taken a disciple otherwise we would’ve never made a mistake like this and we also did not have any knowledge regarding who your disciple was! My Lady."

"However I know that what we have done! Even though unintentional could not be forgiven! I know that we have made a very grave mistake! Which we shouldn’t have and that there is no justification for the unintended error made by the mbers of my Hall! My Lady."

"And just as they say actions have consequences no matter how accidental. Therefore to ask for your forgiveness I swear upon my very soul that I will personally present you with the head of the heretic! It doesn’t matter who it is! My Lady."

"You just have to inform who these demonic soul’s are! Who had committed such a blasphemous cri against you! My Lady."

Evelynn grimaced wasn’t this assassin a little too good with his words. In any case she still asked him..

"Are you sure about what you just uttered Dian and if you ask I would advice you not take an oath on you very soul without knowing who the perpetrator is! Considering you will be left with nothing but regret!~ "

Dian imdiately picked on the slight warning contained within the Ruinous Calamity’s words.

Nevertheless with a solemn gaze! He gritted his teeth and decided to trust his gut feeling this ti and did not take an oath but he still didn’t back down from anything else he just said.

"I.. I’m hundred percent sure! My Lady. I’ll personally present you with the head of the perpetrator who accepted the kill order on your disciple and on top of that.. I’m also willing to compensate your exalted self with anything that you might need from us! My Lady."

Evelynn smirked. "Well suit yourself than!~ " And turned her attention towards Emma! Who smiled back! Understanding her completely.

Therefore she moved — *Fwish!~*

The mont Dian blinked after completing his speech and hearing Evelynn’s strange response.

He saw the Vampire Kings Maid before him! Slashing her long sword made of pure blood horizontally! Her aim was to behead him.

His pale-silver orbs widened in shock but he didn’t have ti to be shocked! Therefore he also summoned his own sword with a blade as long as him.

The swords blade was pitch-black with a single vertical line running through it’s middle and in that single line one could see the movents of literal shadows of different kinds.

But they were all shadows of living creature’s. Lifeforms that were slain by the two ters long-sword.

*Clang!~* *Booom!~*

There swords t as sparks flew and wind blew! anwhile Dian used his higher level and physical strength to push Emma back.

Who herself flew backward! Again stopping just beside Evelynn.

"Elder Brother/Brother Dian are you alright!?"

Eian and Sia exclaid simultaneously! Finally registering what had just happened all within a few seconds.

"I.. I’m fine. Don’t worry."
