"Imitation Magic: Earth Magic: Stone Spear!"
Rhya had obscured Drake’s vision to use this spell. Ulti-Volcano Mountain Trail was rich in fire mana; water mana, which counters fire, was scarce. But other types of mana existed, such as earth mana, which wasn’t as suppressed. Unable to use fire magic, Rhya chose earth magic.
Drake dodged the rapidly erging stone spears. The speed was astonishing; they ford a cage, trapping Drake.
Drake moved, but the spears remained unmoved; they felt like steel, not rock.
Rhya stood, wiping nonexistent sweat. "Hand over the magic stone and tell
everything!"
Drake, unfazed, laughed. "Your anger’s subsided; you’ve cald down. But we’re not equals; let’s continue."
Rhya was wary; he knew about Drake’s Dragon Blood Mode, which boosted his combat power to the level of a Magic Knight Captain. He prepared for Drake to activate it.
But Drake’s magic power was calm, not frenzied. Rhya didn’t believe Drake had given up; there was sothing he didn’t know.
"If you’d arrived a day earlier, you wouldn’t have seen this. Judge my new ability!"
Drake’s grimoire glowed, turning to a new page. A roar echoed; Rhya felt sothing pass through him. He couldn’t identify the spell.
"Magic Territory: Dragon’s Nest!"
Drake looked up; Rhya instinctively retreated. He confird the majestic creature was an illusion.
Rhya asked, suspiciously, "What did you do?"
Drake said casually, "This is my Magic Territory. I’ve integrated too much; it’s a new spell. You felt its secondary ability, Dragon’s Intimidation! Within my Magic Territory, those who fight
must face the terror of a dragon."
Drake didn’t know why his Magic Territory had beco this way, but it was beneficial. Dragon’s Intimidation was a ntal attack; not everyone could overco fear.
This was why he explained it. Even knowing a beast eats people doesn’t eliminate fear; it intensifies it. Most enemies would be suppressed from the start. This Magic Territory’s power didn’t end there.
Crack! Crack!
The stone spears trapping Drake cracked and shattered as Drake moved his arm. Their hardness was due to Rhya’s earth mana. Without it, they couldn’t restrain Drake.
Drake said, "Don’t understand? This space is a dragon’s nest; all mana is the dragon’s treasure. Would anyone take a dragon’s treasure? This is the dragon’s greed—absolute control over mana within this territory."
"An incredibly terrifying spell!" Rhya exclaid genuinely; he was shocked. A human possessing such magic was unimaginable. If elves were favored by magic, Drake was its king in this territory.
Drake continued, "It’s hard to believe without experiencing it. Let’s proceed."
Drake’s speed, even without Dragon Blood Mode, surpassed Rhya’s reaction speed. Rhya realized the mana was propelling Drake. Drake’s control wasn’t a bluff.
Rhya transford into light to escape. Drake, whose speed was comparable to light, caught him.
"Fire Dragon’s Iron Fist!"
The Magic Territory enhanced the punch, drawing upon surrounding mana, exceeding Drake’s maximum magic power.
Rhya, unable to defend, took the full impact. He flew into a rock wall, spitting blood; he used healing magic.
The healing was slow. Fortunately, Drake didn’t pursue, allowing Rhya to recover.
"Incredible power!" Rhya said calmly. "I surrender! Let’s talk!"
The oppressive aura vanished; Drake had ended the spell.
Drake was relieved; it wasn’t easy. If Rhya had persisted, it’s unclear who would have lost. Drake had only mastered this spell for a day. The spell was taxing; enhanced Magic Territory had side effects.
If Dragon Blood Mode required physical strength and Dragon Force, Dragon’s Nest’s burden was ntal; it was brain-burning. Controlling mana and intimidating enemies required imnse willpower.
Drake felt his brain boiling after using it briefly.
He sighed; Magic Territory allowed mages to replenish mana using natural mana, increasing stamina. Drake had trained for longer battles but had created another ti-limited burst skill.
