Chapter 438: SFDI: Chapter 438

Having ridden Fael, the group quickly passed through the Strong Magic Region.

Even though Fael’s speed wasn’t slow, they were still behind Asta.

By the ti that Drake and the others saw that huge mobile fortress, a window had already started to emit black smoke.

Without anyone needing to give orders, everyone charged up. Drake didn’t follow along, but instead frowned as he looked at this mobile fortress in mid-air.

He had overlooked it before, but after seeing this fortress, Drake had suddenly noticed that sothing wasn’t right.

If Drake rembered correctly, this kind of fortress was called a Candelo, and in the original story, it was created by the magic scholar Morris from the forr Diamond Kingdom after he had been exiled and had gone to the Spade Kingdom.

But Drake had known that Morris might cause big trouble in the future when he had last left this world, so he had dealt with him in advance.

In order to prevent anyone from using any revival magic attacks, Drake had scattered his ashes.

So where had this mobile fortress co from? No matter how you looked at it, the Dark Triad weren’t the kind of people who paid attention to developing technology, and it was unlikely that there would be a second magic scholar like Morris in this world.

So even though it was very unbelievable, there was only one explanation, and that was that soone had revived Morris without using his body.

While Drake was thinking, Asta and the others had almost finished cleaning up the Spade Kingdom soldiers in the fortress.

And those commoners had all been transported to the Clover Kingdom by Finral using space magic.

Seeing that everyone had left, Fael roared, spitting out a pillar of fire, directly piercing through the entire mobile fortress.

Perhaps the pillar of fire had hit so core part, triggering a chain reaction explosion, and the entire fortress had turned into a ball of fire.

Seeing that the fortress had completely turned into fragnts, Fael had then begun to turn back with Drake.

He hadn’t used Finral’s space magic, Drake simply wanted to leave so ti to think carefully.

Rather than believing in so kind of restorative power of fate, Drake believed even more that soone was pulling strings behind the scenes.

The feeling of things being out of his control made Drake feel sowhat irritable.

But on the way back, Drake slowly cald down. Although he didn’t know what had happened, there weren’t that many people who had the ability and motivation to cause trouble in the first place.

Excluding the characters who had appeared in the later parts of the original story that Drake hadn’t read, Drake could only think of one person right now.

Although it was just a guess, Drake was almost certain that it was him who had done it.

But the fact that he could revive Morris even without a body was indeed sothing that Drake hadn’t expected.

If things were really as Drake had thought, then what he would do would definitely not be just reviving Morris, and he would have to take this point into account in his next actions.

After all, that person’s identity was too sensitive, and having just experienced Conrad’s incident, the Clover Kingdom couldn’t withstand another Wizard King rebellion.

Especially since his prestige among the current magic knight squads and the citizens was even higher than Conrad’s.

Because he was the current Wizard King Julius, and even he himself hadn’t noticed the other soul hidden within his body, Lucius Zogratis.

That was soone who had even devoured the ti devil, one of the strongest three pillar devils in the underworld.

Although he hadn’t yet obtained the heart and magic power of the devil king Lucifero, it still forced Drake to respond with the highest level of caution.

Just as Drake had made up his mind, Fael had returned to the Heart Kingdom.

Lolopechka opened the entrance to that special space, welcoming Drake in, and because Asta and the others were all busy settling the refugees that they had rescued from the Spade Kingdom, there were only Lolopechka, Undine, and Gadjah in the space.

Gadjah asked, "Why didn’t you act with the others?"

Drake said, "It’s enough to have them do those things! And compared to settling the refugees, there’s sothing even more important to do.

Your Majesty, I want to try to see if I can undo the curse on you."

Gadjah’s expression changed all of a sudden, no longer having the composure that he had had just now.

"What did you say?!?"

Lolopechka saw that Gadjah had beco so agitated that he had directly grabbed Drake’s dragon scale scarf, and quickly said, "Mr. Gadjah, please calm down! That’s too rude!"

Gadjah also imdiately let go of his hand, saying, "Please don’t mind, I’m...!"

Gadjah, as a guardian, hadn’t been able to stop the devil gicula’s host Vanica from intruding into the Heart Kingdom and placing a curse on Lolopechka. This had always made Gadjah feel extrely guilty.

Now, hearing that there was hope that the curse could be undone, how could he remain calm.

So Drake waved his hand, saying, "It’s alright, I can understand Mr. Gadjah’s feelings. But I do have a thod to try to undo the curse."

Lolopechka smiled, saying, "Then please feel free to try! It doesn’t matter even if you fail, since I can still undo the curse by defeating gicula according to the plan.

But if the thod to undo the curse is harmful to you, Mr. Drake, then please don’t do it. After all, I don’t know any offensive magic attacks, and I can’t let saving a useless person like

affect you."

Drake couldn’t help but sigh that there really were people in this world who were this gentle.

The queen who guarded the entire Heart Kingdom, the all-knowing and all-powerful witch was soone who couldn’t learn offensive magic because she didn’t want to hurt others.

And Drake could feel that the reason why she had said that she didn’t want to affect Drake wasn’t because she wanted to preserve combat power for the upcoming battle, but was purely because she was worried about Drake’s safety.

No wonder Noelle would fight to the death for her, this girl’s gentleness was indeed worth being treated gently by the world. But so evildoers had placed unreasonable malice on her.

Drake said, "Don’t worry, I won’t force myself. Then I’ll be rude now."

Saying this, Drake spread open his palm, aiming it at Lolopechka, chanting the incantation that he had learned in the Seven Deadly Sins world.

Magic Manifestation Art, which could visualize the magic power circulating on the target’s body, and curses were of course included.

Ominous black mist gathered above Lolopechka’s head, and finally intertwined, forming a monster image that would make anyone lose their sanity just by looking at it.

Gadjah’s pupils shrank, subconsciously saying, "This is the curse on the queen!"

Drake took over the words, saying, "That’s right, and next is to deal with it."

Gadjah first revealed a pained expression, and then turned into anger, and finally looked at Drake with an expectant gaze.

What pained him was that Lolopechka had always been entangled by such an ugly thing, and the anger was naturally directed at Vanica, who had caused all of this.

Drake couldn’t understand Gadjah’s complicated feelings, but he wouldn’t let down his expectations.

So Drake took out a dagger, saying, "Then let

try it out!"

That was a magic tool that housed the power of a god from another world, and was specifically used to break curses.

Drake swung the dagger, directly cutting open that horrifying monster.

Even though it was a magic power aggregate, it let out an ear-piercing scream like a living creature the mont that it was cut open by the blade.

Then that monster had dissipated like snow being baked over a fire.

Lolopechka subconsciously lifted up her clothes, her abdon was smooth and clean, and the black lines that had originally been coiled there had disappeared.

"The curse... it’s really been undone!" Lolopechka said in a low voice, not daring to believe it.

Drake put away the dagger, saying, "Although I really want to congratulate you now, but the caster should sense it after the curse is undone. We should prepare for battle."
