Drake, unable to endure the staff’s incessant clamoring, casually applied a sealing spell and tossed it aside.

Having dedicated considerable ti to his studies, while not yet a master of all magical arts, his current skillset proved more than adequate to handle this particular situation.

Drake then turned his attention to Brain, whose eye color had undergone a complete transformation—no, it would be more accurate to refer to him as Zero!

With the ergence of his secondary personality, the aura emanating from the Oracion Seis leader underwent a dramatic shift.

Unlike the knowledge-seeking Brain, Zero’s aura was saturated with unadulterated madness. After all, this was a maniac whose sole purpose in life was the complete annihilation of all tangible things.

"You’re all so utterly useless!" Zero declared, tearing off the long robe he was wearing, revealing his powerfully built upper body.

A surge of potent magical energy enveloped him, instantly forming an armor-like jacket on his torso.

"It was you who defeated my underlings, wasn’t it? Then, as the leader of Oracion Seis, I must settle this matter with you personally!"

Without further ado, Zero raised his palm, unleashing a magical attack that resembled countless screaming specters hurtling towards Drake.

Drake swiftly retreated, evading Zero’s attack. The ground where he had been standing monts before was pulverized, leaving behind a massive crater—a testant to the devastating power of that single blow.

Drake could sense that Zero, now unburdened from his magical seal, possessed the strength of a true Ten Wizard Saint. Confronted by such a formidable opponent, Drake’s fighting spirit ignited with renewed fervor.

Upon witnessing Drake’s successful evasion, Zero finally began to take his opponent seriously. And as he did, he sensed the imnse magical power coursing through Drake’s body!

"What an incredible reservoir of magical energy! This will make for a truly exhilarating destruction!"

A madman through and through, Zero’s lust for destruction only intensified upon sensing the strength of his opponent.

Zero, radiating a tempest of chaotic dark magic, closed the distance between them in the blink of an eye.

"Close-quarters combat, you say? It seems I’ve been underestimated."

Drake calmly stated, raising his hand to intercept Zero’s fist. He then unleashed a powerful counterattack, delivering a devastating blow to Zero’s chest with his other fist.

Zero’s legs scraped against the ground as he stumbled backward, the area where Drake’s fist had connected emitting a plu of smoke, as if seared by white-hot tal.

The searing pain, far from diminishing Zero’s fighting spirit, only seed to amplify his maniacal laughter. He unleashed Eternal Darkness Requiem, a torrent of dark magic, aid directly at Drake, who was charging towards him.

Screaming specters tore towards Drake, but they were instantly incinerated by the flas erupting from Drake’s body.

It was only then that Zero noticed the fine scales that had appeared at the corners of Drake’s eyes and cheeks. Behind Drake, a monstrous silhouette seed to be roaring, its presence palpable.

Drake had activated Dragon Force, transforming him into a humanoid dragon.

"Dragon Slayer magic, I see! Indeed, the power of a dragon is the ultimate force of destruction!" Zero exclaid excitedly, raising his hand once more to unleash a beam of dark magic.

"[Darkness Magic—Scream!]"

While Zero was undoubtedly a madman, he was not an idiot. On the contrary, his combat prowess far surpassed that of Brain.

This magical attack, both in terms of destructive power and piercing force, was far superior to any spell he had previously employed. Its sudden deploynt was intended to catch Drake completely off guard.

The flas dancing on Drake’s fists suddenly erupted with an explosive surge of power, the intense heat causing the very air to distort.

"[Fire Dragon’s Iron Fist!]"

Drake’s fist collided forcefully with Zero’s magical attack, and instead of being repelled, he pushed forward, driving his fist directly into the heart of Zero’s magic.

"The power of Igneel, my power... it was never intended for destruction!"

The flas intensified, engulfing and incinerating Zero’s magic completely. Drake then broke through the magical attack and appeared before Zero, who was still laughing maniacally.

Boom!

Drake’s fist connected with Zero’s body, sending him flying backward. However, as Zero was propelled through the air, he managed to land a powerful kick on Drake.

Drake took two steps back, casually brushing the spot where Zero’s kick had landed.

Zero landed heavily on the ground, his feet pulverizing the earth beneath him.

Drake could sense the imnse magical energy gathering between Zero’s hands.

"You naive fool! You truly understand nothing! Power... it exists solely for the purpose of destruction."

With those words, a gateway resembling the gates of hell seed to open behind Zero, unleashing a torrent of screaming specters.

As Zero pointed his finger towards Drake, the countless screaming specters surged forward, descending upon him like a teor shower. Drake, however, moved with impossible speed and agility, weaving through the dense swarm of spectral entities.

"[Four Symbols Fist—Azure Dragon—Flowing Water!]"

Seeing Drake approach, Zero raised his hand, his palm forming a blade, and brought it down with trendous force.

Dark magic extended from his palm, forming a massive whip, its razor-sharp edge slashing towards Drake.

Drake effortlessly caught the magical whip, his fingers curling around it before crushing it with ease. However, Zero’s other hand unleashed a barrage of magical energy bullets, aid directly at Drake’s face.

Drake opened his mouth, and from within a rapidly rotating magical circle, a colossal pillar of fire erupted.

"[Fire Dragon’s Roar!]"

The fiery pillar not only dispersed the barrage of dark magic bullets but also struck Zero’s body directly.

The countless screaming specters under Zero’s control charged forward, colliding violently with Drake’s Fire Dragon’s Roar.

After a tense standoff lasting several seconds, the opposing magical energies—fire and darkness—erupted in a spectacular explosion, sending both combatants reeling backward.

After a considerable period of ti, the rampaging magical energies gradually subsided, and the dust and debris cleared, revealing the figures of both combatants.

Zero’s magical armor, ford from dark energy, remained largely unscathed, but he was covered in dust and gri, and even his hair had been singed and curled by the intense heat of the flas.

Drake, on the other hand, was emitting a plu of white steam, but a small wound on his face was rapidly healing.

As the two stood facing each other, a brilliant pillar of light suddenly rose in the distance. The pillar was shrouded in a dark, ominous mist, radiating an aura of ill on.

Zero’s eyes lit up with manic glee, and he spread his arms wide. "The seal on Nirvana has been broken! The power to annihilate all guilds—the power I’ve longed for!"

Drake calmly retorted, "Hold on there, friend. Save your dreams for nightti. Do you really think you still have a chance of obtaining that power?"

Zero glared at Drake, a cruel smile twisting his lips. "If that’s the case, then I’ll simply have to eliminate you."

Drake found himself pondering the events of the original storyline. In that version, the amnesiac Jellal had overheard Brain’s plans concerning Nirvana before regaining his mories.

Having recovered his sense of justice, Jellal had resolved to perish alongside Nirvana, activating a Self-Destruct spell on both himself and Nirvana.

However, the Self-Destruct spell that Jellal had employed was actually taught to him by Brain, and it could be deactivated without the need for a specific key.

The problem was that Brain was currently engaged in battle with Drake, so what had happened to Jellal?

Drake was aware that his own actions had played a significant role in Jellal’s survival.

Just as in the original storyline, the disoriented and amnesiac Jellal had indeed located Nirvana and had similarly prepared to activate the Self-Destruct spell.

However, just as the spell was about to take effect, Erza arrived on the scene.

Having defeated Midnight, one of the mbers of Oracion Seis, Erza had pressed onward. And then, she had seen Jellal in the process of activating the Self-Destruct spell.

Without hesitation, she donned her newest armor—the Anti-Magic Armor, along with the Law-Breaking Sword—both forged by Drake himself.

Upon his return to this world, Drake, in an attempt to alleviate his financial strain, had planned to earn money by crafting equipnt, just as he had done in Orario.

However, the mages of this world were not as reliant on equipnt as the adventurers of Orario; the high-level equipnt that Drake had crafted remained largely unsold. Lowering his prices was sothing Drake was unwilling to do; after all, he was a master smith, recognized even by Hephaestus herself, and he refused to devalue his own creations.

The only set of equipnt that Drake had managed to sell was the Anti-Magic Armor and Law-Breaking Sword, which he had created specifically to counter magical spells, to Erza.

Erza had recently been struggling financially due to the exorbitant cost of acquiring this equipnt.

However, Erza was now imnsely grateful for her purchase; without it, she would have been powerless to prevent Jellal’s self-destruction.

As a consequence of Erza’s tily intervention, the seal on Nirvana was broken, and the ominous glow of the forbidden magic enveloped everyone present.
