Seeing the monster writhing, about to regenerate, Drake leaped high.
"Fal, use your full power for this attack!"
Drake’s body, transford into magical energy, glowed brightly.
"Dragon Slayer’s Secret Art: Shiranui Style: Crimson Phoenix Sword!"
Fla wings spread; Drake plunged downwards towards the Fallen Sprite.
The trail of fire in the sky resembled a giant flaming sword; this blade of exorcism descended with unstoppable force, cleaving through the monster’s body.

Drake landed, looking at the raging flas behind him; the girl’s form reappeared within.
As if purified by the flas, the girl’s grotesque coloring began to fade, but her body also began to dissolve. A peaceful smile appeared on her face.

Drake touched his forehead, unsure what the sprite had given him.
The sprite’s body shattered into light particles, dissipating into the air.
"Boy, and unknown kin, be careful; the source of the corruption lies deeper in the Dungeon!
It consud our power, transforming us into Fallen beings. I hope one day you will free all who are like !"
The sprite completely vanished.
Drake looked at the fading light particles and sighed.
Ouranos, all of Orario, even the departed Zeus, awaited a hero’s ergence.
Everyone awaited this hero to defeat the final one-eyed black dragon, conquer the Dungeon’s deepest level, and forever enshrine this greatest of feats.
The Fallen Sprite’s secret would beco part of this legend.
"I’m sorry; I’m not the hero you expect. But the seedling of a hero has appeared in this era; he will soon grow and fulfill everyone’s hopes."
Drake didn’t linger; he turned towards the exit.
