BOOM!

A deafening roar thundered through the skies as a massive stone sphere—nearly 300 ters in diater—descended into view.

"Is that... a star?!"

Shock overwheld the minds of onlookers, leaving them incapable of rational thought.

Shooting stars in the night sky typically represent beauty and hope.

But this star—no, this falling celestial force—was nothing but destruction and despair.

"Fall."

A calm murmur escaped Ethan's lips as he drew his finger downward.

The colossal sphere began a vertical plunge toward the Witch's Forest.

The sheer force ripped through the atmosphere. With every ter it descended, the surrounding air thinned further.

The pressure. The suffocation. The fear.

It was maddening.

Trees splintered, snapping like twigs, and the ground cracked open in jagged veins.

It was as though the end of the world had arrived.

"How dare you!"

The Witch Queen's face twisted in unrestrained fury. That imnse teor—if it truly struck—would leave nothing of the forest or its inhabitants.

And as the sovereign of all witches, she would not stand by and watch it burn.

[Blood Creation Magic: Exploding Blood Spears!]

Roaring in fury, her magic surged outward, drawing blood from every living being within the forest.

From rabbits and stray beasts to large mammals… but most of all, from the witches injured by Ethan's earlier wind magic.

Shape it first.

Focus the will.

Then form the weapon.

In a flash, crimson lances composed entirely of blood manifested and shot upward like a volley of Gatling fire.

BANG!

BOOM!

CRACK!

Each spear collided with the teor, erupting into sharp detonations that echoed across the sky and land.

The teor's speed began to slow, its surface breaking and flaking apart.

Witnessing this, Ethan narrowed his eyes and muttered to himself,

"As expected. She's a formidable one."

The Witch Queen—though she only had a brief appearance in the original tale—was no lightweight.

To underestimate her would be fatal.

As the matriarch of all witches, her strength had already touched the Zero Domain—the pinnacle of magical mastery.

This was exactly why a relatively small forest like this could survive undisturbed between the Clover Kingdom and the Diamond Kingdom.

Otherwise, if not for her, the war-hungry Diamond Kingdom would've long since reduced this place to ash.

BOOM!

THUD!

Though the teor was shattered by the blood spears, the fragnts still rained down relentlessly.

Flas spread like wildfire. The entire Witch's Forest choked with smoke and ruin.

WHOOSH!

Another blood spear shot toward Ethan, swift and lethal.

He tilted his head slightly, dodging it with ease—then seized it with his right hand.

"Analysis..."

Focusing a part of his mind, Ethan whispered to himself.

Learning new magic properties was easier for him than most. He didn't need fancy magic eyes—just direct contact.

And nothing taught faster than holding the magic itself.

Blood Magic.

An unconventional attribute, yes, but that didn't make it weak.

Quite the opposite—sotis the rarest magics had the most terrifying potential.

Take Secre's Seal Magic for instance—what was once thought to be just glorified lockpicking could, under the right hands, seal or undo even demonic powers.

And Blood Magic… well...

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Three more blood spears hurtled through the sky.

No ti to analyze further—Ethan dropped altitude instantly, weaving between the strikes.

Just then, the Witch Queen appeared in the sky, facing them directly.

"Tch… So much for a stealth mission."

"That's her? The Witch Queen?"

"Guess we're fighting after all—get ready, everyone!"

Yami and the others drew their grimoires, ready for battle.

But Ethan raised a hand and shook his head.

"You guys go find Vanessa. I'll handle her."

His words landed with the weight of stone—firm and unshakable.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. Be careful. Let's move, Asta."

Yami nodded. He could sense the Witch Queen's terrifying strength.

But Ethan was no pushover either.

As the others retreated, the battlefield narrowed to just two figures in the sky.

Their magic clashed in the air like invisible thunder, a storm of pressure pressing against the heavens.

"Incredible... this man..."

The Witch Queen narrowed her eyes, her focus absolute.

They hadn't even exchanged blows, yet she could already sense the unwavering strength in his presence.

This man…

He was her equal. He stood on the sa level.

And yet—she'd never seen him before.

She knew Colin, the Archmage of the Diamond Kingdom.

She'd t Julius, the Magic Emperor of the Clover Kingdom.

But this man wasn't either of them.

"Na's Ethan Hayes, Captain of Clover Kingdom's Tenth Squad—Dawnlight."

Clover Kingdom?

Ethan Hayes?

The Witch Queen blinked in surprise.

"I didn't expect the Clover Kingdom to birth soone who could rival the Magic Emperor himself...

But regardless of who you are, you'll pay for this devastation!"

She wasn't one to pick fights for no reason—but this wasn't a fight she started.

Her ho was being torn apart.

If she backed down now, she'd lose all right to be called queen.

[Blood Creation Magic: Cursed Crimson Tide!]

BOOM!

A towering wave of blood, cursed and churning, rose like a tsunami and rushed toward Ethan.

Her blood-red grimoire radiated a blinding light.

"Heh… Cursed blood magic? Not bad. But it's not enough."

[Spirit Magic – Fla Dragon's Breath!]

ROARRR!

With a mighty roar, a tiny fla dragon manifested on Ethan's shoulder—none other than the Fire Spirit herself.

Her scorching breath surged forth like molten fury, evaporating the blood tide in an instant.

"The Fire Spirit?!"

The Witch Queen's eyes widened.

One of the Four Great Elental Spirits—and she was fighting beside him?

And not just that—he had summoned wind, brought down a teor, and now wielded fire...

"Just how many magic attributes does this man have?!

Who is he?!"
