Chapter 608: A Narrow Escape

The chandeliers hanging from the roof trembled before falling down one after another. The fruits and goblets placed on the table also fell on the carpet.
The gate to the hall had been forced open by Jing Zhongxiu’s n, but now, the gate was closing at a high speed.
A loud banging sound arose all around.
The dozens of underground passages that led to this place were collapsing one after another.

The police dog understood that Zheng Jing was protecting him, so he instantly curled up on the ground, allowing Zheng Jing to cover him without moving an inch.
The violent bombing had broken the underground passages, throwing stones everywhere. Sound of screams and pain arose everywhere.
Jing Zhongxiu’s n were all very loyal towards him. They did not care about their own safety but kept him protected, shielding him completely.
When everyone was trying to dodge the bombing, Tang Shunian’s wild laughter arose from every corner of the cellar. “Hahaha! Jing Zhongxiu, serves you right! How stupid you have beco. I have waited for you for too long and you ca in with just a stupid dog. You bombed my n years back. Now, it is your turn to taste your own dicine. Don’t worry, your son will soon keep you company in hell and your daughter-in-law will beco my woman! Hahaha...”
No one cared about what Tang Shunian was saying, not even Jing Zhongxiu. He would normally have gotten very furious, but he was focusing upon staying alive at the mont.
The bomb blast lasted for a very long ti. All the underground passages were blocked with no way to get out.
After Jing Zhongxiu and Zheng Jing counted the remaining n, it turned out that half of their people had died. It was a grim situation.
Luckily, the police dog was fine, otherwise they would not have been able to get out.
However, Jing Zhongxiu was not in a hurry to get out. He had not found Shangguan Ning and Jing Yichen. If they left like this, all the efforts would be for nothing.
Under the guidance of the police dog, they dug another passage and through that, they ca to the door which Shangguan Ning and Lu had entered.
The door opened easily. When Jing Zhongxiu and his n entered the place, the door was shut, followed by Tang Shunian’s voice once again. “Jing Zhongxiu, welco to my underground kingdom. I am the king here. Once you have entered this door, you will not be able to get out! Haha, it is you who wanted to enter hell! Congratulations, you have co to your death.”
Jing Zhongxiu had already noticed that the door was only for entering, not for leaving. But he did not panic.
He ignored Tang Shunian’s voice. He was not scared of Tang Shunian’s tricks.
There were many of his n seeking every single passage, and so breakthroughs had been made. Although it would cost a lot of effort to find him, it was not impossible to do so.
Jing Zhongxiu had experienced far more risky crises in his life. He had been through all kinds of pains which Jing Yichen had experienced, so were even worse.
He was capable of surviving and adapting himself to the environnt. What was more, he had vast power in his hands and he was quite good at using it, thus achieving a great deal in his life!
He might be in a disadvantageous place at this mont, yet soon he would turn the tables.
Tang Shunian’s underground kingdom had caused Jing Zhongxiu a lot of trouble, but that did not discourage him. He was only slightly injured, and stayed calm and poised.
Jing Zhongxiu decided to move ahead with a few people and left the rest to keep Zheng Jing safe and try to open the door.
Zheng Jing’s legs had been injured and he should not continue to move around. Jing Zhongxiu wanted to send him to the hospital, but getting dical treatnt at the mont was not very realistic, considering that they were all trapped.
Zheng Jing was a bit pale, but his wound was not fatal. Instead of forcing himself to go any further, he obeyed Jing Zhongxiu’s order, and stayed still to prevent even more bleeding.
Once Jing Zhongxiu made sure that Zheng Jing was well settled, he went deep inside the passage with his n.
Tang Shunian’s voice followed him wherever he went, and Jing Zhongxiu, who had always been patient, started to get a bit annoyed by that noise.
But his n were well trained. As they were talking, they shot down all the CCTV caras and audio. Half an hour later, Tang Shunian’s voice finally disappeared.
